Peanut butter (for spreading)
2 large eggs
Splash of milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
Oil (for deep frying)
Powdered sugar (for topping)
Condensed milk (for drizzling)
Instructions
Prepare the Bread:
Spread a generous layer of peanut butter on one side of each slice of challah.
Press the slices together, peanut butter sides facing each other.
Make the Egg Mixture:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar.
Coat the Sandwich:
Dip the peanut butter sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated on both sides.
Heat the Oil:
In a deep fryer or a deep saucepan, I use a wok, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the French Toast:
Carefully lower the coated sandwich into the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve:
Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with condensed milk before serving.

Also missing two vital ingredients that I would add personally for my self! Add :Vanilla and sugar to the batter trust me makes it even better also I recommend just adding or dumping a lot more of that cinnamon after words when done cooking and preparing makes it even better 😇🤤🤭trust me !

so in order to enjoy french toast you gotta deep fry it? yikes…
yo I love the concept of taking the technique of Hong Kong-style french toast and bringing some challah to it, definitely gonna try this sometime! would definitely recommend staying away from the sugar and vanilla another commenter recommended if you're frying this way tho, those things are good in a traditional french toast as aspects to the custard but in this case both of those will just burn in the hot oil and taste acrid. would definitely go for some condensed milk as a topping tho, the richness works really well with deep fried french toast. love the ingenuity, keep it up!
looks good looks good looks good…(face enters chat) i'm not hungry
