Italy has a similar problem: almonds everywhere, I hate almonds so much, they taste like soap to me 😭 And very very often I'll get a cake and there'll be almond flour in the batter, or a dessert that's almost always topped with chopped almonds… And yes, I can taste the almonds even if it's almond flour mixed with white flour, that's how far my hate for it goes lol
