Costco in Napa, California opened on schedule October 18th and when I visited just before noon the warehouse was packed from the parking lot to the check-out lines.
The facility has all the departments you’d expect:
– general merchandise
– food court
– optical/eye exam
– pharmacy
– tire center
– gas station
I may have missed a few, it’s a big place.
As shown in the video, there are two wood box displays of high end wines. Many local wines, but the range of international wines was more than I’ve found in other Costco’s in the Bay Area. Apparently the wine buyers know they’re selling to particularly wine-savvy customers in Napa Valley.
As always, I recommend you buy local wines at the tasting rooms if you are visiting Napa Valley, but stop by to check out the international wines at good prices.
