What a treat, coming across and tasting this 2022 Babich Sauvignon Blanc (12%) White Wine from Marlborough, New Zealand. The winery has been producing some amazing wines for over 20 years and this one was exceptional for the price ($23 Cdn).
Tasting notes: flavors of tropical fruits, passionfruit, pears & citrus/grapefruit. Sweetness is moderate as is acidity. Hint of minerality, lemongrass & has a long finish. We gave this a 4.1/5 star rating per Vivino standards and gets a solid “recommended'” from us.
