Ingredients:
3 large onions
1 tos soy sauce
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
3 sprigs of thyme
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chile powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tos minced garlic
1 tbs brown sugar
1 cup white wine
4 cups bone broth
Bay leaf
Gruyère cheese
French bread
Instructions:
– Caramelize onions on low for 3 hours.
They should look very dark.
– Add minced garlic, then balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and spices.
– Deglaze with white wine and let reduce by half.
– Add broth and a bay leaf and let simmer on low for 30 minutes.
– Add soup to your broiler safe coquette pumpkin and top with crunchy bread and Gruyère cheese. Broil for 5 minutes. Garnish with thyme.
