Whenever I travel, I like to stop in at various wine stores just to check out the prices of wines. We in BC think we pay the highest price for wines but I am always checking if our views are accurate.
Movenpick Wines Geneva Centre is located at Rue Kléberg 8, CH-1201 Geneva, Switzerland. It is quite a large wine shop with a locked room with higher end wines and mostly value Italian, German and French wines.

Yeah totally agree that Italian wines "in general" are well priced in BC. I would classify Champagne in the same price premium in BC as Bordeaux prices. I do notice UK duty free has Champagne generally ~25-45% off BC prices (assuming no import tax/duty when you bring them back). Other duty free in Europe I found was more expensive than UK, but still a bit cheaper than BC.
