This special dinner was an auction lot at this year’s WineaPAWlooza annual fundraiser. WineaPAWlooza is the foundation of fundraising for Jameson Humane, a Napa Valley based, impact – driven animal welfare organization.
This incredible auction lot went for $145,000! With a rare public appearance by Napa legend Andy Beckstoffer and a meal prepared by French Laundry alum Chef Daniel Gomez Sanchez, this experience is a true testament to the devoted support system Jameson has built with Napa’s biggest stars.
Auction Lot Highlights:
Guests started the evening by touring St. Helena’s legendary Beckstoffer Dr. Crane vineyard with Andy Beckstoffer himself. Tour included a tasting of Beckstoffer Dr. Crane wines.
After the tour, guests enjoyed dinner prepared by French Laundry alum Chef Daniel Gomez Sanchez at the newly opened Arrow & Branch winery in Oak Knoll.
During dinner, seven Beckstoffer Dr. Crane wines were discussed with Master of Wine Lisa Perrotti-Brown, longtime Wine Advocate Editor in Chief and founder of The Wine Independent.
Napa Valley’s own Master of Wine Vanessa Conlin led the conversation, which was spiced up by wine superstars: Kirk Venge & Jim Borsack (Venge, B Cellars), Victoria DeCrescenzo & Russell Bevan (Bevan, Adversity Cellars), Seanne & Steve Contursi and Jennifer Williams (Arrow & Branch), Sam Kaplan and Hayes Drumwright (Memento Mori), and Tor and Susan Kenward (TOR).
About Jameson Humane
Monica and her late husband, David Stevens, established Jameson Humane in 2014 with a mission to enhance animal welfare worldwide. Driven by the spirit of their cherished rescued dog, Jameson, the non profit focuses on community, collaboration and education to ignite positive change in animal welfare on a global scale.
The funds raised through the Wineapawlooza enable Jameson to deliver vital, impact driven services through its award winning programs such as its community animal assistance program, which provides subsidized medical care, food assistance, behavioral training, and support for pet owners to ensure they can remain with their animals.
In its 11th year, the 2024 WineaPAWlooza was a two-day celebration of animals, wine, and music that generated $1.1 million for the nonprofit rescue.
