i always get triggered when i see a steak tartare served like that, you're supposed to break it, mix the yoke into the meat and please serve it with piping hot thick fries that you use to sccop the meat !
Never ate tartare with chips before. Scooping tartare is not really common.

It’s anecdotal but no one in my family eat snails, same with my friends. Maybe a few every two years or three years lol.

Hi! I'm French and i wanted to clarify the Alcohol question. In France there is technically no age limitation on Alcohol consumtion. It is forbiden to sell alcohol to people under 18 and forbiden to go into a pub without a parent before 16 but even at 10 you can drink alcohol without it being illegal. Note that under 18 you are under your parent's responsability and in France it's a felony to get your child drunk. But you can give your 5yo child alcohol to drink as long as he isn't drunk from it 😀
