  1. debating if i should do another one because there are so many dishes i want to try… any recs??

also wish me luck, hoping i can come back in a month or two with significantly improved French 😤😤😤

  2. OMG I've been waiting for you to make French food!! It looks amazing, especially that boeuf bourguignon!! I miss the food so much from France. I'm glad you're not just learning French from duolingo. I studied abroad in France for 2 months after learning French for years to finish my French minor, and I was still scared to speak French in front of the locals and to order food

  3. Hey, ingalam. I have seen a lot of your 24-hour challenge and other videos as well, and I noticed your skill has improved so much since you study over in franch and visit bunch of the food as than the other cook challenge you have done I can't waite to see you grow more in the cook and also hearing of your French that been study I know from other that French is not easy and learn a another language is also not easy well glad you are still stick with it to get better so hope hear some from you also good job keep up the good work.

  4. Boiling the bacon also gets the bacon-ness out of it so the dish doesn’t just taste like bacon. Makes a big difference for quiche. Agree about the beef bourguignon being better the next day, to the point that after my last one I thought I should really just consider a day in the fridge to be part of the standard cooking instructions and not even start to eat it until the next day.

  5. Sorry.. but you lost me at "I need to go BUY a fresh baguette".. that's like doing a video on cooking only Chinese food for 24 hours and then the first thing they do is go out and buy some cooked rice…

  6. That was amusing and fun to watch, she needs her own restaurant so we can all enjoy her love for cooking and baking. Much ❤

  7. Oh that lunch Mmmm. Great job on your bread. I make bread regularly and yours looks very nice! All that cheese makes my heart happy. haha. I want to try that cream cheese mixture. All your food looked great! I remember watching Julia Child on TV as a kid and I am glad that she still inspires even without being on TV now.

  8. Can I just recommend one tip from my French teachers in high school? The way you said "un" in the video is actually how you'd say it in Spanish. The u in French is pronounced identically to the u in 芋 like taro in mandarin. It's also more nasal, so bring your Cantonese out. 😂 "un" is essentially pronounced like how you might say yes in Cantonese "嗯". It's the reason why I chose to learn French in high school. Some of the sounds are quite transferable from Mandarin & Cantonese. Not really English though. 😅

  9. 🥖 Your homemade Pandemi sandwich bread and the croque madame look like they're straight from a Parisian café. Perfection on a plate! 🥪🍷

  10. Love that the difference between a croque monsieur and a croque madame is that the madame has an egg on top, 'cause she's a lady and has a nice hat 😀
Also a cooked ham and cheese sandwich in Barcelona is called a bikini, I like to think that's because it's a croque without the bechamel so it's nakey

  11. You passed the french citizenship test : it is totaly normal to start eating baguette on the way home. Even if you live just around the corner. Bienvenue parmi nous.

  12. You know, I'm french and I am not really sure what "french food" actually is. We are a pretty eclectic crowd…
