  1. Great smoke! This seems to be a popular Ledaig guys!! I am not a fan of this kind of wine. Give me Islay peat any day over this scotch! Love your videos!! Keep em' coming!! Cheers! Sipping on a Laphroaig 10. Hey NAS scotch can be fabulous!!

  2. I've never seen it in St. Louis, but was able to score a bottle in Denver a couple weeks ago for 66.99 at a Total Wine. I should have grabbed 2.

  3. Nice review, gents. I love the uniqueness of this bottle a little more than you all.
I bought this at the Singapore duty free a few months ago for $75 SGD ($57 USD) so you guys kinda got ripped off, sorry to say.
I just ordered the Ledaig 2012 Bordeaux Red Wine Cask 9 Year Old (56.8% abv) this morning and I can't wait to try it! Ledaig is amazing stuff!

  4. Rioja wine, and Spanish wine for the price, is some of my favourite. Tempranillo is the grape variety 👌 Ribero wines also very noiiice 😋

  5. That is the real rub on NAS whiskies. What is a fair price? I almost think it is more of a value for what you get type of question these days. Signet, Laphroig Lore, Octomore, Ugi, many Compass Box NAS whiskies are way north of $100. I just think it makes it hard to make that whisky choice at the store and more reliant on reviews.

  6. I work in production at Tobermory, this tends to be the whisky I recommend to Tobermory whisky newbies. Typically Ledaig whisky is a nice alternative to Islay whisky, but this at a similar price to the 10 year old is doing something flavour wise you don't find a lot in Scotch. In an industry that tends to look around at what the competition is doing and imitates to an extent this Ledaig Rioja has a uniqueness to it. If any of you guys end up on Mull at some point, let me know, we'll sort you out.

  7. Tangy fruit and peat is always a good thing. This bottle gets better as it dwindles so buy one split in into two bottles and leave it for a month, whole other animal. Enjoying some now and I will replace it soon. $69 around here. An 88 on my scale.
