Set on a hill with gentle valley views of the landscapes of the Midi-Pyrénées, Vue Pastorale is a charming and traditional dwelling which has been beautifully restored to provide a characterful holiday home with its own heated swimming pool.
With white stone exteriors and wood-beamed ceilings, this is an authentic rural home where the owners have created a warm and welcoming environment with picture book windows making the most of the lovely views. There are two living rooms, one with a wood-burning fire for cosy evenings and a wonderfully spacious kitchen-diner where feasts can be served as you gaze out towards the countryside.
The six bedrooms, two on each floor, have been styled individually with splashes of warm colour and pretty furnishings and there are two extra beds on a mezzanine level just above one of the living rooms. Families will love the table football here as well as the ping pong outside whilst parents will appreciate the fantastic 6-person jacuzzi and sauna in the relaxation area.
There are various terraces and shaded patios where you can sit, take in the views or relax in the serene surroundings with only the sounds of the countryside around you. There’s a characterful barbecue area for rustic al-fresco dining and the heated swimming pool has a particularly magical setting in the restored ruins of a 13th century castle.
The house sits in over a hectare of wooded, hilly grounds and its perched position affords beautiful views. Take a walk along the domain’s pathways passing century-old oaks before returning to your terrace where you can sip wine as the sun sets, admiring the relaxing scenery.
