  1. The answer to his question is Remy made Confit Byaldi another version or interpretation of Ratatouille meanwhile he really get the actual Ratatouille in the restaurant and that's it. Confit Byaldi is more like a high end version of Ratatouille and the Ratatouille he got is what you would get if you are in home

  2. what you got is an actual ratatouille, in the movie it's shown another meal called " confit byaldi "

  3. Its because the ratatoullie in ratatouille is actually not a ratatouille. It's called a Confit byaldi

  4. The version from the movie likely takes too long to cook and plate. They are taking a more efficient route.

  5. Steak frites? just say french fries! your in France. Im kidding, I know frites means fries comment section.

  6. Maybe they thought it was too difficult to make or something? Keep in mind that ratatouille is pretty much all vegetables. It'd have to be damn good to appease the kids who'd order it just because it's from the movie.

  7. Guys, they used to have the regular version of Ratatouille. However, this restaurant is in Disneyland Paris and of course its mostly families so they just catered to what majority likes and its technically theme park food.

  8. lol this restaurant literally represents everything that the villain of the movie was trying to do

  9. Remy – on Disney Cruise ships is a high-end French restaurant – it is a subtle Ratatouille-themed restraurant

  10. Isn't that restaurant awfully expensive ? I heard the menus costs like hundreds of euros.

I don't know how much you paid for all of these, but these dishes are pretty standard in France. You'd pay like 40 euros at most, and I'm probably exagerating since I didn't order them since I was a kid because because they're so easy to make at home.

Never go to restaurants in amusement parks. Get sandwiches, enjoy the rides and go to restaurant after leaving the park. You'll get better quality for cheaper.

  11. In technicality, the Ratatouille that was served in the movie is called "Confit Byaldi" while it it still ratatouille, its a more "fine dining/gourmet version" of the dish. However, that being said, I do find it disheartening the the ratatouille in the restaurant doesn't reflect what the movie is known for.
Fun Fact(s): Chef Thomas Keller assisted in the creation of the confit byaldi and had a cameo as one of the patrons (Food Snob #1). Plus, that patron role was also voiced by well known in the culinary world

  12. Fun fact: the signature dish Rémy serves at the end of Ratatouille isn't technically a ratatouille; it's a tian, which is an artful arrangement of sliced summer vegetables baked over a tomato and pepper sauce.

what you got in the little pan was ratatouille

  13. Insanely stupid that they don't serve it. If its too hard to make they should just oursource a company to mass produce it and send it in every morning.
