I’m in Brittany in the West of France for a week. My program is simple: enjoying the beach, walking, visiting the area and of course eating. Slow living & cooking simple meals. Spend a day and a half with me.
Brittany brings back memories, my father and stepmother used to own a holiday home there so when i was a kid it was our annual holiday destination. Thank you for sharing your holiday and recipies with us. I hope you had a great time🙋♂️
Lovely , I noticed that a lot of people when buying fresh fish actually handle it ,examine the. Gills for freshness and smell it to see its freshness ,fresh fish should only smell of the sea or river fish the river ,tried that on my return to uk at supermarket and was told very un politely to return to France ,it’s so different there ,fish of the harbour freshly land ed, Bakers ,Butchers ,fresh produce and of course the markets 10 lettuce to choose fromm,no dodger cd stands or last years anoraks ,but I still love uk ,I just wish we would change a bit which has to be consumer driven,
Thank you for another great video. I am having a lumbar laminectomy on Friday. Hopefully, I will soon be able to go walking on the beach again. I have an update: I found Belgian endive and Compte cheese at Trader Joe's. I am enjoying it.
Do you prefer to stay in an apartment where you have to cook on your own instead of staying in a hotel? Just asking, because when I go on staycation, I prefer to focus on having rest than cooking for my whole family 😜😜 Have a nice day and thanks for another nice video!
We are on holiday further down from you in Pyrenees Atlantiques. We have been inspired by your comté and have eaten it every day. Plus some decent baguettes we can't get on Brexit island 😞

Those houses/ boats/ beach look so clean and pristine. It feels like you're in Scandinavia, not gritty France.
