INGREDIENTS

4 slices of thick bread

Cinnamon butter:

2 1/2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (softened)
2 teaspoons of light brown sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Egg-milk mixture:

1 large egg
3 1/2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla

For coating:

2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

For the dip:

3/4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (softened)
2 1/4 tablespoons of cream cheese (softened)
2 3/4 tablespoons of icing sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

1 Make cinnamon butter. In a mixing bowl, add 2 1/2 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons of light brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix everything until well combined.

2 Get 4 slices of thick bread and cut the crusts off. Spread cinnamon butter on one slice and top it with another to make a sandwich.

3 In a different bowl, add 1 large egg, 3 1/2 tablespoons of cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk until combined.

4 Dip the bites into the egg mixture. Make sure they are fully covered. You don’t need to soak them.

5 Melt 3/4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat and the bites. Cook until golden on each side.

6 In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Immediately toss the golden bites into the mixture to coat.

7 Make the dip. In a different mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, icing sugar, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

8 Serve cinnamon bites with the dip while warm. Enjoy!
