On Friday, July 12, the French community and their distinguished guests gathered for a memorable Bastille Day celebration at the French Ambassador’s Residence in Nakasero. The evening was marked by sophisticated touches and meticulous planning, reflected in the exclusive invitations and timely reminders leading up to the event.
At 6:00 pm, the gates opened, ushering guests down a glamorous red carpet and past a stylish photo booth before reaching the reception area.
The reception featured an assortment of welcome drinks, including a selection of fine French wines, emphasizing the deep connection between France and its renowned wine heritage. Guests also enjoyed an array of French culinary delights, enhancing the authentic experience.
Tables were elegantly adorned with small French flags and Olympic-themed decorations, in honor of the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, which will take place from July 26 to August 8.
