This whole double fry business is total nonsense; you’ll get nice, golden crispy fries from one long fry
French fries shouldn't crunch they should snap when bit not sound like you ate a potato chip just because its a potato doesnt mean you need to kill the recipe of something basic like french fries and turn them into thick long rectangle chips
