Gosh that restoration is gorgeous!! Tray liners are a life saver. I use them. I have almost as many linens for the table as Philip does. A napkin goes in the slit of the placemat! The meal looks fabulous, Marie❤️
I don't own any tray liners, but I typically place cloth on a tray to prevent beverages sliding. I didn't even know they existed.
My mom used to make us fried squash flowers from our garden in Westfield, New Jersey when I was a child. I really enjoyed them, truth be told. I think I just liked the batter the best. FYI, we call courgettes squash, and we call British squash drink juice.

With such a beautiful dinner and desert do you serve coffee or tea with desert? I always enjoy coffee with something sweet, something to offset the sweet. Even a demitasse would be nice.

Thank you for taking us to the brocante, you all looked so lovely in your hats! The church you took us to where the chapel restorers we’re working was beautiful, I gasped when the little alcove restored in the blue pattern appeared, absolutely exquisite. To think of the details and the artist vision… is mind blowing. Philip I so appreciate your love of beautiful and yet functional things. My mother would put into my lunch box a tea towel so that when I ate my lunch in school I could have it to lay upon my desk. It was pink and white check with ivy leaves and the most beautiful little tea pot in the center. It really made me smile when I saw it and made me think of home as I was not fond of school I would have rather been home playing in the garden with my dog!

Stephanie would be a vision in a life-sized replica of the Barbie dress! 2:26 In America, the white, metal child-sized bed is called a daybed. Imagine a person who embroidered one of the serving tray cloths saw it in this video. How cool would that be!
