One add, surely the ‘Porte’ in ‘Porte-drapeau’ is related to the verb ‘porter’, meaning to carry (aka bear), not ‘door’. Never heard the word before, but that’s where my mind went.

To be honest, having TV anchors with no notes and no idea what was happening is better than what we got – anchors that would. Not. Shut. Up! I couldn't hear a single piece of music or a song without endless trivia paragraphs from our local announcers – give me a break! The metal part with the decapitated Marie Antoinettes and Gojira was invredible! BUT we could not hear almost anything in its full glory because of the constant babbling… They even talked over Celine! 🤦🤦🤦

If anyone had any knowledge of Greek mythology and culture, you would know that it had NOTHING to do with Christians. Christians need to stop trying to cancel anyone or any culture that doesn't match their. That ceremony was showing something way older than even "jesus".
