  1. you should totally keep the blue. maybe add a few blue items in there to tie the colour in? but those chairs are super cool

  2. pick the teal up in some small other decorative element, vase, art. something like that. The teal is lovely (and as a person with buttage the new chairs will be SOO much more comfy than the others) but the texture may be an issue for some. I – personally – feel the teal is clashing a wee bit with the yellow glass elements.

  3. the blue with the lamp colour above work amazing. considering the walls are so boring white, those chairs are the nicest things to look at in that area. i immediately have my eyes go to the lamp, then around the room. keep em blue.

  4. I love the teal with this room. It's a gorgeous dark teal color. Also, if you did confirm that they actually are worth that much, I absolutely wouldn't reupholster them (unless they have already been reupholstered once before) cause that would certainly affect their worth. You may want to sell them someday 💁🏼‍♀️

  5. Add one of those blue and yellow wave swirl things😂 idk the name but add that to the wall to make it seem like it's on purpose

  6. The blue would be perfection in the space if you repeat the color somewhere else in the room: perhaps a pillow, vase, candles, print or chachkee. My personal general rule of thumb is that any colors used in a space must appear at least 3 times. That way it looks more purposeful.

  7. I think you might prefer a truer blue like not navy but not teal either. It's a little too much on the yellow spectrum for my taste and doesn't mesh with the red tones of the wood and sofa. If you wanted to do a true yellow toned green for brightness sake you could do that too. But the tones currently clashed based on colour theory so your eye may get tired of looking at it. Just IMHO. 😅 I love the construction of the chairs and the style. Good luck on your design journey.

  8. But omg you could afford them but you chose another option. To create something for intent on YouTube. That in turn makes you more money !!

    Nice

  9. I like the blue. I think a rug or some artwork with all the colors would pull it together more though.

  10. Add blue cushions and maybe some framed art to bring in more blues and yellows into the space to run with the theme! That way you can tie in the light fixture and the chairs to make the colors more cohesive for cheap!

  11. Hope those cute white chairs go live somewhere else in your home , as furniture abandonment is totes not happy furniture. Keep loving them even if they are just counter/outdoor chairs

  12. Unfortunately that turquoise-blue is my last favorite color with the tropical color palette so my vote is Reapholstery
