  1. INGREDIENTS

    Bread
    • 1 cup whole urad daal, soaked
    • 1 cup green whole moong daal,soaked
    • (3⁄4+1⁄4) cup water (for blending)
    • 1⁄4 cup psyllium husk (isabgol)
    • 1⁄4 cup jaggery powder
    • 3 tablespoons flax seeds, roasted
    • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon rock salt

    Topping
    • 1 tablespoon flax seeds, roasted

    PREPARATION
    • Soak 1 cup green whole moong daal in
    water for 12 hours.
    • Soak 1 cup whole urad daal in water for
    12 hours.

    METHOD

    1. Place the whole urad daal and 3⁄4 cup water
    into a blender and blend until smooth. Take it
    out into a big bowl.
    2. Similarly, blend whole moong daal with
    1⁄4 cup water until smooth. Take it out into the
    same bowl.
    3. Mix both the batters together. Cover with a
    plate and put it to ferment for 8 hours in a
    mildly warm place.
    4. Preheat the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes.
    5. Add the remaining ingredients into the
    fermented batter and mix well using a spoon
    to combine everything together.
    6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf bread
    tin. Tap the tin to even out the batter and add
    the topping. Bake at 200 °C for 50 minutes.
    7. Allow the bread to cool down for about
    15 minutes before removing from the tin.
    8. Slice, make sandwiches and serve.

All the Health Enthusiastic Peoples and All the Platforms ( Social Media, Print Media, Other Organisation with Health Awareness ) says for some last 2-3 Decades that White Bread, Biscuits, Bakery Products Prepared with Wheat Flour (Maida) are not only Unhealthy but also Seriously Harmful for our Health. Even Allopathic, Ayurvedic & Homeopathic Doctors are also agrees. 😌
    Now If that is true than why Don't the Government is taking Strict acton against this companies to make All this Products with Maida and make new norms for making this product only with Whole Wheat and not with Maida So, this Problem will get Solved for Lifetime….! 🤔

  4. Maida comes from wheat and I'm okay with that. I enjoy having it with butter occasionally to help reduce the glycemic response and minimize glucose spikes.
