at 93 years young Silvia isn’t your average bride but her adoring fiance 88 year old Frank has been asking her for two decades to get married sweet story and this week in front of family and friends they finally tied the knot our reporter Laura Vela was there they say good things come to those who wait and when you’ve waited 20 years it’s pretty special just like any wedding it is quite the production leading up to Frank and Sylvia’s big moment as you can see I’m not quite ready although they are a little slower there are of course the same nerves and the same excitement for any soon-to-be newlyweds and how does it feel being a bride-to-be at 93 well I don’t feel 93 and you don’t look at that special act 93 I still get up to mischief and like dancing and playing about I accepted the challenge all the contracts whichever way you want to look at it and well that is what is happening like today about are there going to be a few cheeky champagnes feed oh yes we can have all that yeah you might remember that Sylvia became quite the internet sensation after asking people from across the world to vote on which dress she should wear to her wedding and the winner just like that it’s time [Music] let’s come along and so we are gathered here today to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments the joining of two hearts you have made me what I am what I hope to be with you I asked the people here present to witness that I Sylvia Clarice Martin take you Francis Bernard Raymond to be my lawful wedded husband I give myself totally to you today and forever it is now my great pleasure to pronounce you husband and wife Frank you may now kiss your bride [Applause] it was gorgeous isn’t it yeah to get married at 93 is pretty unbelievable I think his buddies weren’t cut out for him Frank Sylvia finally your bride what does that feel like Noura new lives as for the blushing bride she’s pretty keen for the honeymoon and I said to him if you don’t lay on me with that one tonight Oh I will a on you there is the best part you have a head start if you are among the very young [Music] we are so happy for you there’s plenty plenty stirring on where’s she live why I love this should really say that I think she did well nobody to beep it up and why should 93 years of age you can say whatever you want Silvia and we’re thrilled for both of you and a big thank you also to piano because Frank and Silvia gonna spend their honeymoon soaking up the Sun Sun in Tonga and the South Pacific and no doubt Sylvia will be sipping a few cocktails I would suggest and hitting that dance floor when the piano ships are rocking I’m not gonna Sylvia
