A gorgeous french toast that I wound up making using an incredible panettone from Quince, a 3 Michelin star restaurant here in SF!
this is a three Michelin star French toast and believe me it’s insane so of course we’re not just starting off with any normal bread we’re starting with three Michelin star bread this is paneton from a three Michelin star restaurant called Quint which is an Italian bread that’s really hard to master it’s absolutely gorgeous but first I think we need to try it out all right here’s the taste test M delicious wow it’s really moist and chewy but not heavy like you might expect so what’s the best way to level up and already incredible bread by coating it in milk and eggs and pan frying it on all sides we want it to be moist dense and chewy and honestly I’m not sure I could improve this bread but we topped it with some beautiful buttery apples maple syrup and whipped cream and it was time for a taste test so did I ruin it or did I make it better holy crap that’s one of the best things I’ve ever tasted

I was able to get a loaf on clearance one time after the holidays. I made bread pudding with it. OMG!
I bet it’s delicious but that bread has such an inconvenient shape tho 😅
Pandoro is better bread for French toast try it I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Trader Joe’s sells delicious Panettone Fall season as it gets closer to Christmas. Costco also sells panettone but it doesn’t taste as good as the Trader Joe’s version
