hi I’m Chris today I am in Paris at Park asteris let’s do this I know nothing about this park before we get started I have to introduce everybody I have Jimmy hello hi Jimmy I got ines hi ines is from Portugal Jimmy’s from france and got ludoVic not little vic ludoVic also from Paris and this whole park is based off of a French comic book that’s a little irreverent a little it’s very funny so like I don’t understand anything about this what is this here we read asteris what does that mean uh you we read here we read asteris that’s what this whole comic book apparently they also have the comic book for cell in English you have us oh let’s go look at the park map there are two main characters in the comic book there’s a big guy what’s the big guy’s name obix Obelix and then a little guy and his name is AIX we’re going to meet asteris right now I’m going to meet asteris for my first time hello oh thank you oh yay we the first place we going is inside the gift store because both Jimmy and Ludovic are very excited excited to show me all these comic books it’s very popular so yes hold on let me show you this BR this is in English yes so these are the two main characters show me the main characters you’ve got this big guy obix that’s Obelix Asterix that’s Asterix and you have a dog and that’s the dog eix eix eix so it’s a fixed ID fix ID Rome has taken over everything except this little tiny village where asterisk and what’s his name the Obelix live and they go and have these adventures obix obix and it’s very popular here oh starts explaining like everything was taken everything no not everything this Village still resists they’re everything is taken no but except for this Village yeah so it always starts like this it always finishes with oh all finishes with the banet always the eating board always eating pork yeah okay show me the first page again oh so this is the this is how it always starts every Adventure here we go this is how the every comic starts the year 50 BC G’s entirely occupied by the Romans well not entirely one small village of indominable GS still holds out against the Invaders and life is not easy for the Roman legionaires who Garrison the Fortified camps of Totum aquarium laduni and compendium that’s how every one of them starts there are so many comic books and I thought we’d come in and talk about it but Jimmy and Ludovic they just want to keep reading all the comic books they love it so this is very it was this is so popular here that they made a bunch of movies there’s like lots of lots of movies like this and apparently some of the movies are good and some of them are not but this one jokes about the United States culture so you have a Mickey Mouse oh no they’re making fun of Mickey Mouse and Superman it’s uh jokes about Superman and Mickey Mouse it’s a oh yeah parody little parody of Mickey Mouse and Superman our two our two biggest icons and this one they apparently they go all the way to America and look he’s doing like the Statue of Liberty pose so here in the story they all drink a little bit of magic potion to make them strong but Obelix Obelix yes he fell into the potion as a baby and became so strong he’s no longer allowed to have the potion and he’s one of the main reasons why the Romans have not been able to take over I’m just telling you what they’re telling me guys this is like their main street but it’s like the Sean Sean in Paris the big street the big oh the big Street in Paris yeah okay but the difference is every shop will be from another place in the world okay so so yeah okay okay so they’re sh every shop here oh he’s peeing ma ma and pigs okay all right from so every shop is from a different part of the world this it be Germany England England what is that England England okay and what is this um Roman Roman so you have J Paris that’s oh that’s Paris the name of Paris was oh lutus okay so that’s Paris where’s Italy ROM oh it’s Italy here R Roman of course of course of course and then Scandinavian Viking the Vikings okay this is India India uh Greece uh not Greece it’s Egyptian on the right oh that’s Egyptian and yeah on the left Switzerland Switzerland and a few they want me to go in they’re very excited that we’re here at their park so they go on adventures to different countries and so there they are and this is the princess they met in India and so uh Ludovic wanted me to show you the princess is from India okay continuing back outside on the right you have so it’s architect Egyptian but it’s bad architect okay so it’s just that’s why you see so I don’t know why they think Egypt would be have bad architecture they’re like the best at it but they so that’s why best the bad architect so there we go this guy yeah Egyptian doing Walk Like an Egyptian and oh looks like the Rome Coliseum yes okay inside you have a show oh there’s a show inside oh this is so good okay Jimmy told me to push that button and it’s spraying all the little kids on the the [Laughter] bridge oh my gosh so yeah a little button here and when people walk by the bridge you can press it and it literally gets them drenched on the bridge so this is what it it’s still going well let me show you what it looks like when it’s not going it’s like that so it’s very cute little Fountain and then when they walk by you push that button let’s wait again although he’s doing it again brutal all right here comes the unsuspecting group get it Jimmy get it get it one two three boom [Music] they’re trying to run they’re trying to avoid it sorry sorry that was Jimmy Jimmy did it so let’s talk about this park asteris by the way the main character in the comic book is named asterisk and the theme park is called park asteris because it’s French you put park in front As Americans we would say the asteris park this is the most popular comic book in all of France they love it it is I would compare this to to nottsbury farm it’s about Jimmy says yes Jimmy says yes yes okay it’s about 35 minutes away or 40 minutes away from Disneyland Paris you’re going to get a younger crowd here uh more teenagers there are some thrilling roller coasters and the company that built the velocci coaster in Orlando Florida they built like the Prototype here and so we’ll show you that it’s not quite as big as the veloc coaster but it’s where they got the idea from and Ne is going to push the button when they come down here comes the boat here they come coming down and there as a button oh there’s oh it didn’t [Music] go that’s never happened before I swear this is a brand new area to the park if you look right up here they have um one of those bob sled tracks it just goes on a free track you roll down like a a Swiss bob sled if you watch our Europa Park we had something similar to that we are going to go do that cuz I think they’re amazing so I’m following Ludovic Jimmy and inz and they’re taking me to this this is the bob sled roller coaster that one right there we’re going to do it first that’s the track and like I said we I don’t I don’t don’t really see these types of roller coasters in America it’s a bob SL track and it’s just free rolling there he just rolls down we’re in the brand new land what is the land called uh g g g and it’s about cavemen it’s way before asteris it’s like the very first person living in a [Music] cave so yeah there’s a roller coaster going up right there it just takes you up the hill and then you had a free it’s literally a boba track and this is the theming here is like cavemen I suppose so this is like the first comic book here I guess and what is that elephant a hold elephant oh oh oh it’s like an elephant mammal yeah a wly mammoth got it got it got it they’re both very excited because like this is good I have to show you this makes me laugh uh Ludovic has on uh Fu fyu that’s another theme park best F Park in FRS you need to try it that’s big words then he’s also got Warner Brothers and his umbrella is Universal Studios Orlando Jimmy is wearing one of his favorite jackets he got it at a thrift store in London and it’s a American from the Air Force and he loves it so yes and inz is just happy to be here yes I’m good all right that’s how you get on right there it’s going to be such a tight fit Ludovic getting in first and then I’m getting in oh my gosh oh I’m leaning back it’s so tight guys I can’t move I cannot move it’s literally there’s no room to move lud Vic can’t breathe this is the newest roller coaster here and everybody loves it it’s the precursor to velocci coaster oh my gosh this is so tight in my stomach yeah there it is oh they didn’t make it up I know there they go and here we go [Music] oh oh oh my gosh we Are Holy oh my gosh oh my God the bar is so tight on my stomach this is [Applause] insane we got theide I can’t oh I can’t breathe I can’t breathe oh my gosh it’s so tight dang you guys it’s so look at that it’s like Ping my stomach all right we just did the first ride day and Nez knew better so she said the first time she rode that she was going up the hill and she accidentally pulled the bar down one yeah that’s what I he was oh Jimmy did it that’s what I did I was rid ludic we going up the hill and I pulled the bar to scooch up and it went click right into my stomach I literally couldn’t breathe that whole ride I’m like good ride though very fun all right so this they’re all excited like this is the guy who does the potions he makes all the potions yeah lud’s happy yes hi yay give me ation make make it strong yeah yeah thank you he’ll give me a potion yeah to make stronger make me strong thank you oh there is the yes hello it’s a singer of a village it’s a singer of The Village is not a good singer no wa yeah the’s coming he’s like I’m out of here this roller coaster has been here almost a year it’s called two tatis it was the kind of the precursor for the veloc coaster this park was a very much a local park only local park but because of this roller coaster people now are coming from all around Europe they wanted to ride it CU it’s supposed to be one of the best roller coasters and that’s the name of the god Tut tatis he’s kind of like Odin so there it goes up the top hat it never makes it up and over the first time see it’s dropping down then it goes backwards and you’re going to turn you going see it go up here to get a little more speed to shoot you down again so you can make it up and over the top hat now watch them go and they made it as you walk through the queue you see like this little carv rings and there’s like on roller coasters but this one here is special cuz those are the creators of asterisk in the comic book all the boys names end in x x so I would be Chris X Ludo Vic X or ludix ludix Jimmy Jimmy X jimmix girls names do not end in x so it just still Bez oh it’s finished by in in in is in in oh oh okay so for example it’s the wife of Chief okay there’s lots of inside jokes in this comic book and Jimmy and ludic they see something they’re like oh they laugh and they point at it they look at me they want me to laugh I don’t understand so I laugh we’re doing a lot of that today so I asked them like well what would be the equivalent in America and they’re like oh well this would be like popey I was like popey but yeah in America popey is very popular anymore no no no not anymore really poey popular yeah so it’s uh I’m trying to think Pap papy tell me put it down in the comments below if you are big fan of popey all right we got it not popey it’ be equivalent if they made a South Park um South Park theme park and that’s also kind of appropriate because asteris is a little bit inappropriate not as much as South Park but a little bit so South Park not that apparently is a map of what we’re going to do I can’t film on the ride I’ll tell you about it once we get off something happened on that roller coaster it’s never happened to me ever in my life they make you take a glasses off which is fine but they made me take my tie off don’t look at me I’m hideous I’m ugly and now we we had to walk the exit I’ll get my tie my glasses and my bag a ride about to take off it was excellent there it goes they put all your bags in these carts and they bring them out you can’t have bags phones uh ties apparently let’s do a recap cuz we got to figure that out it is an excellent that is one of the funnest roller coasters I’ve been on it’s like velocci coaster light except Veloster coaster is a little more rough this one your feet like you Rite veloc coaster your feet don’t touch so you get that swinging motion this one your feet touch uh but it feels really fun it’s very smooth very fast I know people want to like well what about Untamed in WBY Hall I still Untamed this just amazing but this roller coaster is just a thrill a second it’s like velocci Coter light so they showed me this cuz they thought this was very funny but if you like look at these shields they all these Shield here these Viking Shields that one is a surfboard that one is like what they do in the comic books when somebody’s swearing they put stuff like that then you come around this side over here and they wanted me to be sure that I showed this because I thought this they thought this is hilarious there’s a Captain America shield right there and then over here they have one Shield that has like Wi-Fi on it we are now entering into Egypt wow that’s is I can’t help that all right the ride that we’re about to do what’s the name of the ride o what is it o oh Osiris Osiris but in French it’s pronounced oer ois basically Egyptian god Osirus it’s basically Silver Bullet From Nots faury farms and here they go they said the architect is really really bad cuzz you want to look up those stairs will hold nothing anyone has a sign saying watch your step watch your step what is this an elevator yes that dropped you it says prepar to take the stairs prepare to take the stairs to off tomorrow so this is a joke about D Paris the tower ter that looks the same ah sneaky sneaky this is like the Smurf guy so I’ve been told that this was one of the first rides they did here at this park that had theming throughout the queue and they’re all like French puns they’re explaining them to me some are funny so this was the joke that they were saying that guys like I can find the fult Mage but they called it the frage which is like a cheese and then you had all the ma all the all the Mages the Magi were like blue cheese stinky cheese cheese H cheese humor it’s pretty GAA get it so the story is the the may name is is he’s now going to make us fly what’s his name is ises is here we go they’re coming along going along coming in this way the guy is like hey I got this important safety device it’s called a muscan which means safety belt put it on it gives you wings he’s going to make you fly kneel down and give thanks because I’m about to take off and then you take off and this is the layout of the roller [Music] coaster all right let me talk about this right it was very good very it’s smoother than Silver Bullet at na Farm uh it doesn’t go up super high what they do is they have a lot of it where you go under tunnels like this I felt like the whole time I’m like I got to keep withing my feet up my feet are going to hit the ground they keep having fly right above the ground then back down the ground above the ground is very very fun so here it comes it’s flying around it’s actually fairly smooth there they are and then after you get to the section it has you keep going closer to the ground you’ll see it here coming up and they have you do these things where you dive in the ground like this and they have you come out and then they go around and then they have you dive back towards the ground again I kept feeling like I had to lift my feet up and if you are wondering they did not make me take my tie off that last roller coaster so now we’re going to go eat we’re going to go eat some uh food here I’ll show you what the food is like here at Park asteris this park is so it’s you don’t get a lot I mean it really was just a locals Park but because the new roller coaster people are coming but they’re coming from like Belgium they’re coming from uh German to to ride this new roller coaster an American and and and and one American so because because of that there’s not a lot of English like there’s no signs in English just to be prepared and the cast members the people who work here they don’t speak English so you just have to be where you go through you just have to figure it out yourself or you go with your friends who speak French either way always a solution yeah so we’re going to eat here these are some of the options there is one whole PL just of frage cheese I don’t know what I’m going to get what should you get I think this is what they’re saying that’s just like a [Music] cheese burrito cheese C it’s kind of like a buffet but not really you pay as you go so you grab the items that you want so this is like a goat cheese pizza I like I’ll try that then down here you have a bunch of salads so all the different salads then what you see down here this is crazy this is a like a chery pig salami Sal salami yes like pepperoni what is that is that that liver worst this one Pate pate and RI okay P it’s oh that looks good pig pig pig oh my Savage Pig Savage Pig I don’t know what Savage pig is but this is pig to Pig too I’ll pig to be clear this first one is wild boar they also have a bunch of wine cuz we’re in France so people just you know wine wine wi wine other salads these are cold salads which you just grab it’s kind of fun uh rolls you go on a roll and this is like a little cheese plate you can grab a little cheese plate of the different types of cheeses so [Music] yeah and here if you want to make your own salad like you can just make your own salad these are the desserts like maybe that’s a little doughnut and a coffee I don’t really know to be honest with you I’m just looking at them you just kind of find one that you like and grab it there’s more down here too I think it’s a chocolate clar is this caramel Jimmy is that caramel caramel what Chate what chocolate what is this cheese pizza something I don’t know I’m just going to grab something figure it out for hello Chris Chris Jimmy yes these are the two main characters pH yes yes it’ be great yes he took lud’s hat because it’s from a different Park oh no drop it in the potion we we yes yes that is awesome we ordered our food and now they’re cooking it and there yeah and then when they’re done they put the plate right here for you to grab lovic got the wild Bo Kebab wild Bo wild Bo oh really there it is Jimmy I’m going to have to Pi the shrimp sauce a little little sauce on it okay and they’re cooking up my steak right there and then you can put some sides on it as well so this is you put anything you want here people say the best is the potatoes but I’m going to do the little broccoli and I’m going to do the cheesy carrots do that they say I have to try this it’s potato yeah it’s potato it’s like a big potato they just said they like Bona petite let’s look what everybody got okay Jimmy got the steak and potatoes and potatoes and carrots the F and the F yeah and then and then the dessert it’s not caramel it’s just it’s am with almonds with chocolates with chocolates there’s alcohol somewhere in there Al that’s what they then uh and’s got fish fish and chips fish and chips and something chocolate with alcohol no no alcohol that’s him okay me and then Ludovic got wild boar wild boar under french fries under the french fries and then a CLA uh par breast what is par breast par breast I don’t know what that means it’s a it’s the name of Two Cities you got parisis and breast on the North breast and then he got this terisu I got the goat cheese pizza mine looks so American looks so American all right let’s do this we we’re eating and now we’re arguing over what who has better movies but I have to show you food from which years see now it doesn’t matter doesn’t matter does matter because because movies start in France in so of course we got the BET movie okay let me show you food okay Ludovic ate everything and he let me try the wild boar I’ve never had it and the reason they have wild boar here is because in the comics that’s what they eat every at the end of every comic eat wild boar we have not touched our desserts yet well ludc touched one dessert no one I know so fish and chips gone we’re waiting for the dessert Jimmy gone Wai for dessert I’m I’m I’m done you had you had a star yeah I did have this this just to be honest with you the steak was it like is from like Denny’s restaurant type of steak not that great but I want to show you this because this is what you do they you pour this on let’s pour it on pour it on H La o la la does that look good guys and that is caramel and the way you say caramel in French is car caramel there used to be a little bit of chocolate on top but someone ate it oh yeah I did I ate the chocolate top I and then you have whipping cream good luck with that yeah you have to use your spoon oh you got you got a I’m such an American okay thank you I can’t hold the camera and thank you and one more and now we’re prepared okay there we go there you go one now we’re going to I’ll come back and tell you so you know I don’t like to eat on camera this is so good I love it all right it’s an argument about French because the movie True Lies it’s fantastic but that was first a French film correct yes yes and then the other movie was um bird cage and that was first a French play and then they turned to French movie and then we and Jimmy’s like you Americans stole it it’s okay it’s okay it’s it’s very funny though that’s from the movie from that’s that’s ludic being Robin Williams and then inz told me a story about Robin Williams hang on I have to turn the camera around tell me about Robin Williams at Disneyland Paris okay so apparently at the opening at the Walt Disney Studio so that’s 2002 thank you very much uh at the opening at the Walt Disney Studios Robin Williams was invited to come to our backstage in the forks he dressed as Mrs delire he dressed as Mrs delire he dressed as Mrs delire I’ve seen pictures and he just walked along walks around and no one actually recognized nobody recognized him good grief yeah I asked him to recreate this I didn’t understand what I was talking about I literally had no idea Ludovic was like there’s another roller coaster but it’s Tacky Tacky Tacky Tacky yeah and then and then I said no tacky tack she’s like no tacky tacky for me and he’s like yes tacky tacky and he’s like no tacky tacky what is tacky tacky it’s like when the roller coaster is really uncomfortable then you just shake you’re like that and like it hurts in the end and they’re like why did I do this to myself oh so we’re just not doing that’s T tack I’m going to use that from now on this we’re not doing any tack tack no tack T you can go t tack if you want we like outside do you like tacky tacky no never never we’re now going to go to the Village of asterisk and we keep seeing lots of puns yes and every time we see a pun Ludovic and Jimmy they laugh and someone explains to me then I laugh and then I just smile because I have no idea what’s going on I was like oh that’s funny one interesting thing about that buffet that we ate at so the main thing I got was the steak then they had potatoes and they had like uh broccoli carrots the broccoli carrots potatoes that as much as you want so you keep going back and getting more sides but you only get the main dish one time so if you want a lot of sides just do all that that okay we’re going into the village oh as there’s you see all the outlines of the people who live in this village now see that little ride that little it’s going the track above us that’s called the Caesar spy and you are if you ride that ride you’re working for Julius Caesar I guess and he’s spying over the uh Village of asteris so it’s kind of like a bad guy ride oh and there’s like some little boat down there we’ll figure it out oh yeah there they are the characters this would never happen in America it’s a photo spot a great chief o la la yeah that probably wouldn’t happen to America you stand up on that little thing cuz it was a little slippery I was like I get it it’s Thanos like no all right guys here’s some chickens and I’m going to put ANZ on the spot oh good she told me a joke during lunch why did the chicken cross you have to tell that joke why did the chicken cross the roll why did the chicken cross the road because because they also have rabbits and guinea pigs because in the comics there there’s lots of rabbits and guinea pigs I’m going to film it this way kind of over my shoulder but if you look behind me you see a bunch of families they are just sitting here eating in the village you kind of see them just eating and joying their food here in the village a lot of people just come here they relax and it’s a Gathering Place this is where they we’re kind of going like that so you can see so I don’t want to focus on them so I’m just going to have him over the shoulder cool guys there’s a wild boar L told me there’s a wild board like there’s no wild board like yes there is there it is right there oh my gosh oh it’s a wild boore it’s good for for eat we no we never no yeah like no eating no take yes so I found out the boore has a name it’s leet oh my gosh what are you saying okay I’m just going to call him ET like yes yes I can’t handle this so I was about to show you as’s house but they everybody freaked out they’re like the wild boar so we had to run to that let me show you as’s house and then I’ll show you obelix’s house this is Aster’s house he’s the small guy he’s a small guy and uh you can see this is his little bed his food and then of course he’s got his uh photo of his best friend that’s this guy right here and I just found out the the pork the wild Boar’s name it would be like in America if we called them bacon so that’s it’s like a whatever his name is it’s like a French dish of wild boar all right so what do we have yes’s house they’re neighbors obviously you have the dog’s house that’s eix that’s eix that’s house you have like that’s all the Romans he took down so like those are trophies trophies for cap killing the Romans not killing not killing just but punch but punching okay and then obviously wild has wild oh there’s there’s there’s bacon for you on and has photo from F oh I love her so apparently though he loves her what’s her name like his name FAA FAA but she does not like him she just put him the in the friend zone Zone and he’s got wild Bo there and this is his house his look how big look how big his shoes are yeah that’s all I’m not exaggerating the three of them love this place and and as was saying when she was a little this is what she wanted to do the very most come to this Village because you read in the comic books first time I managed to come to par I think I was 23 or 24 like everyone wanted to do the roller coaster was like but we have to go to the Village we have to go the village you wanted to see it I want to see that for real you want to see it for real okay and who’s your favorite character um as like that Aster is a little guy yeah or the singer as oh the singer I like the singer the guy he’s apparently he’s a bad singer who’s your favorite I’d say o oix this guy Jimmy stop it that’s a little piggy don’t eat the piggy okay all right think of this be the equivalent of going to like tomb town to meet like Mickey and mini and it’s very popular like people they want to spend a lot of time there that’s where they eat like their lunches and things like that and just relax and they also have meat and greets here as you can see they have like a little photo meet and greet so I was like I we going to go ride more rides and everybody’s like why we’re in the village this is this is it so this is the Highlight yes so at the end of the night here at the end of every comic book they have a big banquet that’s how every comic book ends and they’re eating wild boore in their Village they have that here in the village too at the end of the night you can come to the uh Park to the village and you pay for it and you could sit there and have a big banquet with them and all three of them were’re talking about they’ve never done that but that’s what they always said they’re like that would be my dream to do I have to show you this it’s like a little boat ride for kids it’s going to go down the little little Splash Mountain for kids we’re going to go do this uh little tour in a boat all right so this is a big pun and took me a long time to figure this out they’re like so here it is it says uh if you go on this Cruise you’ll never come back and the name of the cruise is the Titanics Titan that’s terrible Titanic Titanics Titanics we made it on the boat they let me keep my tie on let’s do it this is like they you guys it’s like it’s a small world yeah it’s a boat little on the but very little very little okay it’s just puns after puns and I don’t understand any of but this is epidemis taxes these taxes the taxes of taxes we bought everything oh we tax the taxes we sell everything we buy everything we sell everything we keep everything we keep everything and this says the address the F Fus to sell to sell please call this person if you want to buy it oh if you want to buy the the windmill name is [Music] okay this is yeah difficult to understand puns yeah cornflour took a while we figured it out it’s cornflour it says if you want to buy cornflour let us know we’ll sell you cornflour so this is the princess that Ludovic likes yes she keeps showing every time she shows up there she is LA and then over here we have Cleopatra yes yes Cleopatra and next to you have bad architect yeah that’s the guy that oh that guy’s the bad architect the one that made the stairs upside down yeah okay so here but there’s a giant statue and it’s Zeus holding lightning bolt and uh I was just told by Jimmy that a lot of people like to stand underneath it and get a photo of them looking up the skirt I mean why wouldn’t you this is what Jimmy says that every likes to [Music] do he’s got underwear where I don’t know if I should have zoomed in but it seemed appropriate we’re now going to do this this is Zeus’s Thunderbolt and uh we’re going to do this wooden roller coaster it’s supposed be very Herky cherky but they call it ticky tacky ticky tacky Tick T Ticky T and there it goes [Applause] and it’ll be coming right along here it’s very loud when it goes over by the way I don’t know where it is somewh over there and we’re right directly underneath it and it is just so you guys know yep I’m not going to film it because I don’t want to be risky yeah be risky so uh we’ll talk about it at the end all right yeah excellent roller coaster excellent roller coaster see we yes but but non-stop [Applause] again you can’t relax it’s very fun but man you are your head is going andz do not want to write it because it’s so crazy since I couldn’t film it we’re going to recre create it for you go here you have a bartender and they serve you drinks as it takes you up the tower and then back down the tower while you drink I am told this is the worst roller coaster in Europe it’s the same roller coaster they have in eing but eing the python they’ve redone it so it’s not as bad this one is so Herky jerky and it has a lap bar that pulls over your head so your head’s like hitting it’s like everybody in the group is refusing to write it so if they’re not doing it I’m not doing it there are three hotels here for Park asteris um and I was just being told that they have some of the best value of all the hotels they’re very nice for example you can spend €90 and that’ll give you one night and then tickets oh here they go hang on poor suckers don’t even know what’s going to happen but for like €90 you’ll get a night and a two tickets for uh the the the day one day and then the next day so for two days we have four tickets and one night for like €90 so people are like that’s too good of a deal and the hotel rooms are supposed to be very nice the next area we’re going to go to is called Old Paris it’s called also from time to time let’s go check it out we have a sping to oh smiling Towers so here we are we’re walking in they have like little shops here and this is like an area they put on shows periodically here this whole area is going to be gone in a year they’re telling me that they’re going to take it down I said how come they said because it doesn’t really have anything to do with uh asteris so they’re going to take it all down we’re inside looking around the best way to think of this is like it’s the Renaissance Fair you know how at notb Farm they have a whole area like we have like people working blacksmiths and people working they used to have people working here like like carv making swords and carving signs and they no longer do that yeah so we have all these different uh s like Renaissance stuff here this part will be taken down within a year and so we’re going back even further this is luto Vic’s favorite joke here in the park there is a wood sign here saying that hey we exterminate termites we are termite exterminators but then you look down they the termites have eaten the sign so this is called Old Paris so we walked through England then went the renaissance fair and this here is it’s kind of dark in here [Music] oh she’s doing the can can oh the windows are all opening everything’s happening now let’s see what’s going on here a lot is happening there’s oh she’s kicking him or he’s kicking him and a waiter there you go and it’s like the I’m not sure what that is but that’s like you know they’re French colors the flags are raising vivaa France there a Frank over there [Music] yep old Perry I’m not sure what’s happening but looks like some Lanterns have come up up and flags are coming up here Ludo Vic not lovic lovic lovic all right we’re now leaving out of the old perie part and the Renaissance and the whole this area I think it was important I know that Jimmy and Ludovic wanted you guys to see that because it has good memories for them they they like that and so we’re going to now and after I shut down uh yeah after shut down it’ll be gone next year I think next year the most famous horror nights like the scariest park for Halloween time is here at Park asteris if you’re interested in coming to park asri the best way to do it is to go online and buy tickets before you show up if you buy the tickets day of It’s Always way more expensive you can actually get them quite cheap if you buy them puns and jokes and I wouldn’t understand it so we just decided to kind of skip that but if you speak French apparently the shows are amazing and if you don’t speak French you can go watch him and just kind of pretend that you understand what’s going on this is kind of museum for asteris where you go take a look at it very old comic books yeah so this is what the dog looked like in 1964 1965 1968 1975 2012 I kind of like the 1968 version yeah and you can see them over here there they are a little puppy going on a adventure and then over here this is one of the issues where they went to England and you can see of course the English are drinking tea and that looks like the Beetles this is making fun of Americans it’s like the Statue of Liberty I love it so this is like this is like a movie they made of the show oh no is that asteris who’s that Queen of England they’ve made animated versions of the movies oh no oh bacon oh few and there’s the singer they always tie him up because he’s a terrible singer so that’s asri from 1967 and that’s their all three of them says this one’s like their favorite one this is the first liveaction film they did second one they also like this one too what we and they say we don’t talk about these films [Music] these are the two guys who created it this guy is like the he does the the the words the story writes it yeah and this guy does the art and there they are a little character of themselves all right I’m going to go back to the gift shop cuz I feel like I have to buy one of these comic books in English so I can kind of read it and understand it Jimmy y why don’t you buy it in French this is the entrance we first first coming you see asterisk Mountain he’s sitting right there on top all right so this we’re going to walk in this is like the the gift shop but this sign is supposed to be an homage to the penny arcade at Disneyland cuz when they’re building this park they went to Disneyland and looking at things they liked and they like that sign so they built the sign to look like the penny arcade sign all right guys I’m going to buy that one it’s in English asteris in Britain and they told me both everybody here say oh it’s a funny one but I think any one that I would have got they would have liked they seem to really like it we had a really fun day we have to say goodbye Ludovic goodbye a Jimmy a of bye byebye and
