This is the largest, most luxurious abandoned mansion in all of Italy, rumored to be worth over $10,000,000. It is one of many abandoned mansions located in the country, and in my opinion, it stands out as the most unique one in the world. There are many unique abandoned places showcasing various architectural phenomena, but Europe is the hub for abandoned mansions that can date back hundreds of years. To put this into perspective, the oldest home in America is _____, while Europe’s oldest homes date back to _____. The architecture here is unparalleled and unlike anything you will see anywhere else.
One of the reasons there are so many abandoned mansions in Europe is the region’s rich history and shifting socio-economic conditions. Over the centuries, wars, economic downturns, and changes in aristocracy have left many grand estates without caretakers. The cost of maintaining these massive properties often became unsustainable, leading to their abandonment. Additionally, legal and inheritance issues have left many of these properties in limbo, further contributing to their neglected state.
My name is Steve Ronin, and I’m an urban explorer from the USA documenting the world’s hidden wonders that are often left forgotten. This journey began when I planned a trip to Italy in the winter of 2022 to uncover the most unique abandoned mansions with two of my friends, Radek and Dave. We were definitely not disappointed. In today’s episode, we will explore one of the highlights of our trip, and I’m excited to take you inside Italy’s most luxurious abandoned mansion, worth $10,000,000.

forgotten this journey began when I planned a trip to Italy in the winter of 2022 to uncover the most unique abandoned mansions with my two friends radic and Dave we were definitely not disappointed today’s episode we will explore one of the highlights of our trip and I’m excited to take you in inside Italy’s most luxurious abandoned mansion [Music] today I’m exploring a mansion that could easily be mistaken for the setting of a Resident Evil game this Mansion has a dark and intriguing story built in the 1700s and spanning over four generations of a powerful family the family that owned this Mansion also ran a winery producing some of the finest Wines in the region right inside this once luxurious home their wine was Renown soft after by nobl and connoisseurs alike but behind The Vineyards there was a Shad back to their business rumors of mafia ties and betrayal suggest that many who cross him met their end Within These grounds the last owner passed away under mysterious circumstances with his death the Mansion was abandoned left to Decay as I walked through these rooms it’s hard not to feel the presence of the past everywhere I looked there were remnants of the family’s life photographs capturing moments of joy and sorrow lay scattered about toys once cherished by children now sit abandoned and forgotten these artifacts gave me a glimpse into their daily lives and an image of their dreams it humbled me realizing that this was but an end of a chapter for them that every one of us will all have to go through in life let me take you guys on a journey and explore and uncover what Still Remains inside so we just made it onto the grounds this abandoned mansion is at least 400 years old from the 17th century now it was owned by Nobles politicians and Warlords from the time they were a very influential and Rich family but this place is massive I can’t believe we’re here this has been a goal of M to explore for many years since I’ve seen it and there’s rumors that the family are buried on the property which I don’t know if if that’s true or not but anyway let’s head inside and see what this place is all about enjoy and don’t forget I want you all to smash the like button before the adventure [Music] begins so we just made in front of the mansion oh my gosh this is incredible look at the size of this [Music] on the back side of the Mansion is as beautiful as the front I assume that their wine seller or their wine brewery happen right inside here oh yeah they definitely did here this is nuts so I guess they would have some sort of berries in here for the wine but look how big these barrels are I’ve never seen anything so big before and there’s probably hundreds of them in here oh no my light died yeah they’re all labeled too it probably says what type of wine they were making or had in the the barrels just imagine how many gallons of wine was produced here this is what created their Fortune so I’m sure the blanco was the white wine and the Orosco was red wine and we have different kinds here too we have prco carbonate and this one doesn’t have a label we just found a head it might be dead it might have fell in there and died oh no yes no buddy live I thought it was breathing for a second me too I mean they do they do um yeah oh my God we found a live Hedgehog I haven’t seen this since P God should we trying and get him out can’t it be our pet yeah let’s Happ let’s bring on the road trip why it must have been here for like a while we’re going to save it now we just car it stra outside yeah come on little buddy oh my gosh it’s still alive yeah we’re going to take care of you don’t worry come on buddy little p no let’s bring in the grass you want to yeah let’s not keep it in here [ __ ] I’ll get my uh to carry that doesn’t like Dam these gloves are small yeah man they’re for me damn bro I’m stretching them oh no yeah you defitely there [ __ ] back it’s enough to get stuck there I’m glad we got him before he uh died don’t worry buddy we’re getting you out of here where the light oh [ __ ] I can put the my backpack on hold just leave it here back dude I want to I want to keep it as a pet we were literally meant to come here to save your life buddy I want to give it a name what should we name him Sonic Sonic no okay I want to give it water put Bush somewhere [ __ ] I’m not going to fit they are not all right so we found a hedgehog in this abandoned mansion it was stuck in a hole as you can see we’re going to free it in the open field how right here right here we’ll do yeah here you go buddy you’re free D I think he needs food and water oh yeah do we have water you have no idea how long he’s been down there uh they do like um they like milk we don’t have anything on us they can drink milk and stuff that sucks we found a bit rain water yeah that’s what I’m thinking H well I think it should be okay right here for now if we end up if we end up coming back and we find water in the building we’ll give it to him give some wine all right be careful buddy you stay safe here okay I just put the Hedgehog down right here I think it should be fine it’s still not really moving I really don’t know what to do but I think I should just leave it in its natural environment okay bye-bye prco is that where we’re naming him I guess yeah for a wine seller so [Music] wow guys I cannot believe I’m in here this was the goal of mine to explore on this Italy series and thank God everything is still furnished cuz I heard rumors that everything was taken away but you can’t believe the rumors a lot of explorers will say stuff to everyone so you always have to check it out for yourself and I’m glad I did wow this is incredible a lot of the Furnitures are definitely worth a hefty price I mean they’re all carved in Oak wood and it’s all vintage and I believe it’s neoc classical architecture as well that we’re going to be seeing throughout this entire Mansion so yeah this definitely is hands down the embodiment of Italy right here guys think of the place oh it’s probably one of the best places in a time yeah for sure this is probably my top on there yeah 100% amazing especially with the Wine sellers on the side right we have to see the Wine sellers is there an entrance from here you think no all right so we have to go outside you know what I heard there’s a chapel as well we need check the chap oh there there’s actually an old photo of the chapel the bathrooms when I used to stand where do you think it could be it could be outside you think it’s separated Chapel yeah yeah you have to walk to it on the ground get you upstairs I guess we’ll do that after so this door right here least to the backyard has been barricaded and right here is the main entrance I mean look at this God I love the carvings on the walls here especially at this one look like a soldier slay some kind of serpent you can have 10 people sitting on this table pictures love everything is just right here on the Shelf looks like there’s more pictures on this corner too quite recent it’s from 2013 this could not this is probably not from here maybe an Explorer brought this in there’s the throne don’t you guys think this is such a beautiful chair and look at the emblem right on on it so stunning everything here is in perfect shape just have to clean it a little bit sucks that a lot this furniture is just rotting away look at the shelf or cupboard here it’s filled with books I just love the wooden carvings on it you never see anything like this nowadays attached right onto the wall and look at the sockets that’s so old I don’t even think they use this in Italy anymore probably would need it to use an adapter and this is quite the chandelier we’re looking at I think it’s at least 19th century has a pretty French style to it too now the frames Beyond the Doors are made of marble but I think we should check out the side rooms first this must be the dining room look at these cabinets we still have some cups inside them and look and look it’s a platter cover wow we have this marvelous brick stone fireplace look at that has some carvings on it too oh we have a creepy doll just sitting here can’t believe this was someone’s toy it’s so creepy it’s another lunch [Applause] room I bet there was bookshelves in here at one point feels like a nice private room in the corner to read a book and just relax by the fireplace which by the way it’s just crumbling apart it looks like someone lit a fire here at one point too that’s probably how it got destroyed idiots coming here oh there’s still some wine it’s unopened anyway this is probably the man that owned this giant mansion he definitely looks like he means business there’s some more photos hidden in the back too this is probably his daughter she’s holding a puppy hey let’s see where this wraps around oh looks like this was another entrance or exit oh here’s a kitchen whoa look at that oven it’s typical Italian style I bet they made really good pizza in here we still have the spatulas and spoons hanged up this is probably the made quarters looks like a laundry room oh my gosh what’s this I think this was some sort of heater for drying the clothes guessing this was like a chicken farm they probably got some fresh eggs from the chickens in here at one point imagine that just coming down into this room to meet your chickens and get some eggs for breakfast so we just got done exploring that side oh my gosh this is gorgeous this one’s really furnished can’t believe everything is still pristine and there’s no graffiti I’m so happy to see that I think this place has been on my list for like 2 years there’s another photo of a very prestigious looking man and look at this lady framed up definitely set up by Urban explorers there’s more photos here too probably family members this look like a 18th century French style sofa you got this nice little cute fireplace the smallest one so far but we can see all the details carved right in looks like these pictures came from a book I was thinking there were photos of the Mansion love this cabinet I’m having such an amazing time on the first floor the rooms has just been so magnificent okay this kind of looks like a dining room a little bit we have this mattress so I guess it was someone’s bedroom that’s a really cool color let me brighten it up for you guys wow chandelier is still standing oh my gosh I’m glad I looked cuz look at the ceiling that’s amazing I’m sure we’re going to be seeing a lot of amazing ceilings in this Mansion this guy kind of looks like the butler it’s giving me Butler Vibes this looks like it was taken from a yearbook class of 1926 to 27 that’s so old got Dave taking his shots I think this is still by far my favorite room but let’s check out the room in the corner I definitely just walked into Dave’s [Applause] shot oh nothing crazy it’s just a bathroom oh it smells really bad what the hell is growing on the wall some sort of mold whatever it is it stinks I was expecting a more luxury bathroom down here it’s pretty normal these are very wide looks like it’s made of cobblestone W well you can see how decayed and neglected this place has been from here everything’s just crumbling away wonder where this could lead [Music] so this floor is just as big and we still have the Chandelier looks beautiful I love the design kind of looks like withered roses and I B used to look a lot nicer but now it’s all rusty take a look at that ceiling as well all the marble carvings is just insane to me it’s definitely a very very beautiful room and I love the ornate ceilings here too room is just as beautiful as the hall downstairs I just love the ornate ceiling this room has this dining table is quite small though but I love the wooden carvings on it I think these are oak chairs but the carving is crazy definitely like Italian neoclassical style probably worth thousands I’m guessing at one point there used to be a painting hung on the wall over here it kind of looks like a frame for it same with this one too but it’s taken off yeah this room used to look a lot more Grand back in the day for sure okay let’s take a look at some of of these rooms on the side so it just leads to a little hallway we still have some cabinets here oh here’s a bathroom it’s pretty nice I like how tall it is looks pretty clean there’s another bathroom right next to it they got some green [Music] tiles it’s crazy how there’s two bathrooms right next to each other but I mean I guess that makes sense considering there’s like so many bedrooms on both sides wow this bedroom has its own sink there’s a tiny bed looks like a single bed here’s a tiny single bed they look very Posh and quite wealthy there’s the guy his horse I just go across now unless it keeps going down oh know that’s the end of it so this is on the right side W this bedroom is massive have some things here on the mattress looks like a letter of course I can’t understand it and we have some books right here on this bed Storia ditalia if any of you guys are familiar with this book let me know down in the comments wow over here we got this Antique Walnut secretary desk and anyway this goes around to another room well it’s quite dark wow this one’s even bigger was meant for two people I guess with with two single beds I bet at one point this place must have been a hotel but I feel like it’s not with the family photos everywhere wow the ceiling in this room is incredible too I mean look he even has his own fireplace and look at that bronze gate thing I don’t know the name of it but wow looks beautiful yep and of course you got the marble fireplace with the coral color on top of it it’s just this lovely mirror I feel like every Furniture in here was a set they all have similar designs let’s appreciate the drawer though look at the knobs on this thing thing almost looks like it’s made of gold I’ll show what this could be looks like some sort of certificate I love the frame of it it looks pretty cool oh look we have a picture over here look like a couple probably the owner and the wife and looks like they’re in a beach man the mattress over here looks pretty comfy as well every bed seemed really comfy I mean they were probably worth a lot before and probably really high quality oh man this is heavy it’s really hard to open but anyway I think they’re all empty I’ve never seen any clothes yet [Music] so I just bump it with the gang anyway there’s this room over here that’s last to see I thought it would go to another hallway but no it’s just this one tiny room it’s just very close to the hall oh that’s such a pretty door I bet this was a female’s bedroom and look over here we have some more photos wow they look so old like the style of clothing they’re wearing but yeah this is a lovely picture looks like they hiked a [Music] mountain let’s go check out this side definitely the same interior as the opposite side even has two single beds these beds don’t look as luxurious as the last one they look pretty normal we have a few things in here to see on the tables and on the wall this guy looks cool he seems like a happy guy we have a picture of a soldier here oh my gosh I don’t know if you guys heard that but that was my stomach growling at one point hopefully I had pick up on the mic but I’m hungry I haven’t ate all day and look at this a colored photo of a lady she almost looks like a pilot she has like a badge on her shoulder and over here we have another photo of a gentleman every photo I’ve been seeing they’re all wearing suits and look at this tiny little doll vintage porcelaine doll almost looks like Cinderella and if you look over here on top of the fireplace there’s more we got a priest baby some man and older woman this we have an old racksack bag looks pretty in good shape just had to clean the mole out of it and you can still use it if you wanted W this bedroom has a lot of things probably my favorite bedroom on this floor look at this we have a a sewing cabinet I like that it can hold everything you needed so we even have the yarn right here and all the kits this looks pretty modern too this is a very old Dressing Table could imagine the woman here putting on her makeup getting ready for the day this is the first time seeing some clothing they’re just hats [Music] here’s a Shar bathroom in this little hallway seems in rough shape looks like you had a standing shower over there the washer is still here look at that some of the bed sheets are still here in the closet look they had us this person was on a ski trip so that’s the last room I thought that was wrap around to the main hall but now we’re back to the main stairway [Music] yeah it’s in rough shape we have to be careful going up because look at that L about to crumble down it’s sinking in I didn’t see this we got some more photos this one must be important since it’s all framed one bour all right I hope you guys have been enjoying the video so far if you have don’t forget to smash the like button we still have the other side to go but this place has just been absolutely incredible and I hope you guys have been enjoying it I’ve been taking so many good photos you have to check them out on my social media at Steve Ronin link down in description below this place is definitely one of the best explorers in the Italy Series so far we still have one more week to go man it’s been a while since I’ve been this busy but it feels good to be filming and exploring a lot again so we just made it to the final floor this is definitely a bit sketchy look at this if someone steps on that they’re definitely falling down I’m not sure what side to take guess we’ll check out the right side for oh my gosh just a loss please don’t sting me poor guy looks like got trapped in a cobweb he has so much dust on him trying to clean himself yeah don’t don’t get close to me all right let’s take it as a sign to go on this side so there’s a few rooms in here oh this one’s a tiny room I think it’s just a closet oh no it’s a toilet this is the to the smallest bathroom I’ve ever been to oh it’s a bathroom this is the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever seen I would not want to use it oh my gosh yeah we have to be very careful I mean the floor here It’s Made of Stone oh I can hear something flying around I think there could be a loss of nest in here maybe it was just a fly I don’t know what was are doing being alive during the winter there could be a lot of them still here just surviving wow this is Chrome way we’re definitely not going up in the attic it looks to be way too dangerous you hear them there’s definitely a was this up there too I’m going to step back don’t come flying at me please wow this is a massive room up here looks like we have some artifacts and decorations look at this be on the table oh looks like some diagrams and sketches I bet one of the people living here Drew this it’s a really nice sketch they were really good look at that we have a painting of a nice beautiful flower well this was a nice bedroom at one point tra looks like it could have been really comfy looks to be a vintage sofa and made of Co hiide okay let’s check the other side from here it looks really clean okay I can hear buzzing is there another wasp Ness I can hear them they’re so loud they must be coming from the attic cuz they’re not inside at all wow yeah this room looks really clean it’s just a bed [Music] frame looks like this leads even further it’s another bedroom so has a key on it who it’s a nice cozy room looks like a bird died in the closet I can see it’s feathers through the creek look like we got some pottery and some more Kyle hide Furniture these on look all beat up yeah this is starting to look more like an attic oh my gosh this is a giant death trap there’s so many holes on the floor but this is so much storage space there’s some stairs going down I wonder where that might lead probably goes to like the garage so this room is on this corner it’s kind of hidden looks nice we got some furniture here wow the ground is caving in don’t really want to go in the middle but it’s just couches and bed frames what’s that on the sofa is that a rotting doll looks like a voodoo yeah I think it is oh my gosh the face isn’t even there that is one creepy doll oh there’s one over here in the corner too we pretty much checked out every floor I think right now we should definitely head outside and take a better look at the exterior shots but yeah I’ve been loving this Mansion hands down my favorite abandoned mansion here in Italy I hope you guys have enjoying it too but yeah let’s go find the guys again downstairs all right everyone so we just made it back in here in the main hall or dining room it’s kind of a weird setup to have the dining room in the middle of the hall where the entrance is but let’s take a closer look in this [Music] room so I think I just found the chapel that the family also owned on their property let’s try to find a way in but I love how overgrown it looks [Music] look at the Dome and I just love how the vines are just growing right in definitely feels unreal yeah this is nuts can’t believe they can just walk down here and pray and attend their Church [Applause] this side was probably used for the priests I’m sure they hired a private one there used to be a cross right here on the wall oh look at this drape so stunning this was definitely his office oh wait what’s over here I think this could have been the confession stand looks like this was some garage probably par their cars in here jeez it’s collapsing I wonder if there’s still cars in here oh my gosh look at this it’s a really old wagon do you even have the saddles for the horses like yeah we’ve already done that much is still part that’s how it would look like pristine so much nicer I can’t believe this was the backyard looks unrecognizable and look at the driveway how clean it looks yeah dude wow but yeah I think we just found the guy’s [Music] office he would probably do business here for his wine for his wine company look at that there’s some ritten stuff on here probably how much money he made [Music] that’s about it in this building finding a box and R’s going to put inside maybe it’ll keep it a lot warmer that’s so sharp really does it hurt your hand almost I felt a little the needles on me so we’re just going to not really close them up too much but going to do something like this put on the side put on the side yeah so this way a little you know he her way out this will heat um so in case it is cold at night keep warm up in there yeah if we if we could good idea good [Music] idea okay everyone thank you so much for making it to the very end of video If you enjoyed it don’t forget to subscribe and hit that notification button Bell this Mansion was just absolutely incredible and I’m so glad I got to document it for you guys it was actually a lot of work to get inside but during this video this was like the second attempt on like the second day to try to get in but on the first day when we got there we scoped it out and we tried to find opening and we couldn’t find opening and when we were there the first time I remember that we heard cars coming and then we ducked into the bushes and we heard like so many cars surrounding the Mansion um I’m not sure what happened maybe like like uh caretaker or Farmers they don’t really like explorers going there and maybe one of them saw us walking down the driveway and then we were in the bushes for like maybe 30 to 45 minutes until we heard them drive away but yeah a lot of these videos take a lot of work and I hope you guys really did enjoy this um if you want to see more videos from the Italy series definitely check out the playlist right here I’ll post this somewhere up top for you guys but let me know your thoughts about the place I believe this was this was probably my favorite abandoned mansion in Italy or in all of Europe and this one just really stands out to me I think it’s because of the architecture and just how massive the place is and how can I forget I think the highlight of the video was not only the Mansion but how we saved the Hedgehog in case you’re wondering when we finish exploring I went to check on it again and it was gone so I’m thinking it walked away and hopefully it’s still alive even right now after a year later I still don’t even know what to call him but if you happen to have a good name leave a comment down below and but yeah I love you guys thank you so much for the support I think within these next few weeks I’ll be dropping more videos from Europe and USA and then I’ll continue on with my Asia series but for now I just wanted to spice things up and freshen things a little bit but I love you all and I’ll see youall next time peace and thanks for watching [Music] is [Music] [Music] [Music] h [Music] [Music] [Music]

Another old friend, and u do her justice!!
Ciao Steve, I don't think Mr. Hedgehog survived, he probably was really dehydrated and starving, but I applaud your efforts in trying. I loved the mansion; it must have been a beauty in her heyday. Thanks for sharing. Love from N.Y.
Honest question. why do they abandon mansions like this? and how do tbey start a life again?
Why not get permission to explore someone's property? That way you wouldn't have to hide .
Tell Dave I’m waiting for his video as well. 😊
Welcome BACK Steve!! ❤
I have been following you for a while.. my daughter lives in Europe and northern Italy is her favorite spot for vacation. She just returned from Valencia Spain she was visiting her childhood friend
Very interesting mansion, do you have any idea how long it's been abandoned? I was the wine bottle with the 2006 date. Is that the last time the mansion was occupied? Would love to know more about the family that lived there and abandoned that beautiful mansion. So sad to see it in it's current condition.

I really like your voice Steve, and nice intro you set the moods of the viewers first before you start the exploring which is good so that we have background about the place…and the last part you do that you interact to your subscribers…nice place I indeed enjoy too…thank for another free travel/trip
I've missed the abandoned mansions. So happy to watch this.
That griffin at 12:30 looks to be of Tartaria. Very interesting 🤔
I love Old world buildings and architecture. They don't build such grand architecture anymore. What we had before now had to have been an amazing world full of imagination and ideas. Because of the designs then. Now we stare at big square or rectangular buildings with windows with no designs or colors. Today's world has no imagination like it did years ago.
Yes, keep exploring these Beautiful forgotten places.
30:11….I think the priest is Pope Pius X
