little easier for you guys we’ve picked five restaurants in nce that we absolutely adore for different reasons each offering local and Mediterranean [Music] Cuisine let’s take a look the five restaurants are conveniently located near the main tourist spots either in the old town close to it or near the port so we’re on our way to laus now that’s a hotel that we’ve actually shown you before but this time we’re going to take you for lunch in the their restaurant called leaso CU we’ve never been when we were there last time we didn’t have the time but today we want to show you their Cuisine that’s supposed to be really good the hotel is situated at the eastern most end of the promade nestled at the foot of the Green Castle Hill right next to the Sea walking there is always a pleasure with many things to see and people to watch along the way lause is a fourstar hotel full of surprises its entrance is right on the promade facing the sea but the main building is actually hidden behind the facades visible from the road so while the ochre colored Hotel building with its 53 rooms sits above the street level buildings offering great views the restaurant we were eager to show you is located in the courtyard at rooftop level it’s a bit tricky not to get lost on your way to the restaurant so just ask at the reception desk and then all at once you find yourself in a Haven of peace and quiet we find a Charming spot under a lemon tree and the show can begin [Music] [Music] for lunch served between noon and 2:00 p.m. there’s a special menu on the Blackboard two courses for €28 and three courses for € 37 with a set starter main course and dessert a glass of wine with a menu is cheaper than ordering wine Al the same goes for the espresso after the meal Anna and I went for a two course lunch menu and a main course Al we’re sharing the starter which is smoked salmon wrapped around quinoa salad with little vegetables and thai sauce and trusters it’s as tasty as it looks fish is what we both choose for our main dish while I opted for a Sea bath steak with Violet cauliflower puree decorated with all kinds of chopped vegetables Ana chose a sea bream cooked in a banana leaf with orange juice prepared right in front of us it was extremely good with a surprising Twist from the orange flavor and banana leaf cute little vegetables and a refined sauce rounded off her dish so for a while we felt almost like we were in heaven the Peru hotel is classified as one of the small luxury hotels of the world and underwent a complete renovation and redecoration in 2023 including the restaurant and all its accessories people have been welcomed at this place for almost a century and it continues to attract loyal guests the restaurant at this family old establishment welcomes everyone after lunchtime you can still enjoy food from a snake menu throughout the afternoon until the kitchen reopens for dinner in the evening we highly recommend making a reservation Anna and I can’t quite bring ourselves to leave just yet so we’re savoring in US espresso in the most intimate and relaxed Ambience now it’s high time for our next restaurant Adventure which takes us behind the port of knes we booked a table I can’t wait to have lunch now with Isa Lan Paul is another hotel with a restaurant that some of you might recognize from our last Hotel video the three star hotel was formerly a seminar a school for future priests and is now privately owned both in a total of 67 rooms we’re heading to its stunning Terrace overlooking the sea below it’s such a Sunny Spot that you can enjoy lunch Outdoors even in winter months word has spread so be sure to make a reservation Anna and I are opting for the three course lunch special priced at €29 beginning with a delicious cold PL of archo caracho topped with fresh truffles parmesan lettuce and tomatoes for us as we prefer to skip the meat once again a glass of wine is practically mandatory in France the main dish of the day is a cfish steak served with potato and celery salad yet another Revelation absolutely delicious and while sailing students are busy out on the sea we’re enjoying the view and training ourselves to the sinful Delight of Cheesecake for dessert to reach this restaurant you can walk from the old town rounding Castle Hill and circling the entire Port it’s a bit of a track during summer you’re in luck because there’s a small shuttle boat available for a free ride across the port and there’s bus line number 98 that stops close to the hotel our next suggestion brings us back to the old town to the flower market here’s another rooftop restaurant next to the bassing street below that much like the Pao we showed you earlier feels like a green Oasis amidst the surrounding buildings on your way to the rooftop you can catch a glimpse of the kitchen action and you’ll pass by the bar an indoor restaurant adorned with the coolest historic pictures from these the stylish decoration extends Outdoors while the rooftop is not soaring high in the sky it boasts a lush garden with Pleasant infused this place is exclusively a restaurant though there’s a bar where all sorts of drinks will be mixed for you and the food we ordered is a revelation modest portions that leave room for dessert yet so so good Ana went for the daily special at € 15 a local fish with pea puree and crunchy potato crickettes while I had roasted pumpkin served with smoked strella and onion cfy for €16 main dishes during lunch range between 16 and €29 in the evening the menu shifts towards Tapas in case you haven’t noticed yet we absolutely adored this place right down to its playful unisex bathroom to ensure you get a table for lunch or dinner please make a reservation if you just want to come for a drink you’ll have to wait until 10:30 p.m. which is a wonderful idea for bombing summer nights having a meal on the beach will surely be one of your highlights when traveling the French Riviera there are countless restaurants along the coast not just in E just pick one and enjoy we decided on L for this video but honestly choose whichever one is closest to you there aren’t huge differences the food might not be as refined as in the previous restaurants we showed you it might be equally priced or even more expensive but who cares here it’s all about the location with views like this it’s June now by the way so be prepared for things to heat up we had made a reservation for 2:30 but unfortunately we showed up late so the kitchen was closed but they offered to make us pizza we’re sharing a ver pizza with pea cream roasted zucchini and broccoli for €25 and it’s really good actually for drinks we choose non-alcoholic fruity cocktails which are quite yummy and refreshing our final tip for today film back in March takes you to one of the liveliest spots in N at night rub between PL Garibaldi and the port where restaurants are lined up one after another we haven’t tried all of them but we’ve heard many good things so we’re going to pick one at random and for once Ana and I have made up our minds really quickly we opt for the Portuguese fish restaurant PES for our meal a new place for us I’m going for t for 15 it’s really a really good price it’s a reasonable price for such a good let’s see how big it is I’ll try the sish deu which is raw sea bass priced at €7 and we’ll also share some vegetables on the side look this is cute this is bread it’s incredibly good I already tried it so that one’s mine yeah this is yours actually the portions were served are admittedly modest but woo [Music] this is so good go and I have to agree after the most delicious meal which in the end with the bread and the side dish was the perfect size for dinner we’re too full to even consider dessert then we’re ready to call it a day cheers this is isas in my favorite trying out new restaurants for you guys and what can we say the French cuisine is simply amazing and in case you want to try out some other restaurants we already made a film last year

My friend and I had our last lunch in Nice at Le St Paul and it was fabulous…beautiful location, fabulous food and once you have a reservation you have from12 till 2 to arrive. Your table is saved for you alone!!! Le Vigna at the Port is great for scrumptious contemporary food. The sea bream on a bed of veggies and mashed potatoes was excellent and so was the salad with crunchy honey drizzled goat cheese. Another favorite was the chef driven, Citrus, in old town..very small menu, cozy ambience and attentive service…Thanks for your videos which definitely enhanced our visit.

Excellent — I just had dinner at Peixes last week and quite liked it! As a splurge — Racines by the liberation market just won a Michelin star in November — it's only the 2nd all vegetarian restaurant in France to have this award. It's a fixed menu though -but phenom!
