Complete restoration of an antique French dining chair. Frame knocked apart, rebuilt and polished.Traditional methods of upholstery with a diamond buttoned back.
WOW! For a chair that looks so simple, it's really a great deal of work! I'm really impressed with your use of ladder stitch on the corners! And that huge needle is pretty scary when I think about how many times I've damaged myself with an ordinary sewing needle 😂
Hello, my Aussie friend! I'm an American from Texas! I was about to say, "Damn!" You are a stroke of genius on that dining chair! When you chose that color, I was like OMG! I love that color! That texture of green fabric is so fantastic! I love that chair!

I appreciate the hand sewing of the outside back rather than metal tack strips.
Thank you for just the sounds of your work which is fantastic 😁

For a chair that is 100 years old. The choice of fabric is hideous.
