Join us at Disney Springs as we explore Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming for the first time! Before our dining reservation, we take a stroll through the World of Disney store, checking out some unique merchandise like “It’s a Small World” jerseys and Star Wars-themed items. Once inside the restaurant, we’re impressed by the comfortable seating and friendly atmosphere. Our meal includes delicious chicken, mashed potatoes (sans bacon gravy), cheddar biscuits, French fries, and mac and cheese. While some dishes were a hit, others like the mac and cheese fell short. Overall, it was a hearty meal with generous portions, and our server, Josh, made the experience even better. We can’t wait to return and try more from their menu. hi everyone we are at Disney Springs getting ready to check out chef Arts homecoming dinner it’s a brand new place for us we’ve never been here so we’re excited let’s go have a little fun and see what we can get into so we’re just walking we’ve got a little bit of time before it is time for our dining reservation so we’re going to go head on to the world of Disney go see if there’s anything that Mom has been looking for out there okay we have made it to World of Disney let’s go head on in and it is hot outside okay we made it into World of Disney normally it’s more crowded I’m just a little surprised it’s not as crowded as you would think let’s see what we can go find so I haven’t seen this they’ve got It’s a Small World jerseys look at that it’s a small world after all they even have ears look at that so normally $34.99 but 30 each when you buy two so you save like $4.99 you buy two of them so look at this they’ve got some Star Wars Lounge flies they got Star Wars ears as well look at that and then you got the uh jerseys too interesting look at that and in the back Star Wars so they had a few new things that at least I haven’t seen before but not what particularly mom was looking for so now we’re going to Mosey on over to our restaurant we do have about half an hour before we can our reservation time but we’ll see maybe they’ll let us get in a little bit early so let’s go head on over there okay we made it to our restaurant Chef art Smith’s homecoming Florida kitchen Southern shine let’s check them out so we made it inside they let us come sit in here which is good because it is warm outside woo so this is what it looks like inside so far they’ve got some looks like merchandise right here these are the chairs and they are comfortable and it looks like those are the same ones they use at the table too so kind of cool that was quick we got seated here you go here is the menu I’m excited to give this place a try the reservation just showed up last minute so we are excited to have our first visit here so here are their beverages if you like their beverages Hi and then look at that they’ve got a whole P look at all that they do have outdoor seating if you prefer outdoor seating as well it is too hot outside so we are sitting inside where it’s air conditioned so nice thing on the chicken cuz we got the chicken meal we’re going to split it with a whole bunch of sides guess what they let you choose between white meat dark meat or a mix we got white meat and they give you two chicken breasts that’s awesome so I’m excited to see what it looks like so we ended up getting the mashed potatoes no gravy because they put bacon in the gravy and we don’t eat the bacon we also got the cheddar biscuit basket we also got the uh French Fry Basket and then we got the mac and cheese so I’m excited to try all of those you excited yeah good man there’s people sitting outside like I don’t know why you sit outside it is warm outside it’s hot wow stuff came out so quick so here’s the chicken here’s the biscuit and then here’s all of our sides man look at all of that doesn’t that look yummy it came quick too like it was woo quick I’m excited to try all this okay she’s digging in let’s see how she likes it no look at these biscuits they are hearty [Music] it’s [Music] good oh man look at that you can see the cheese oozing oh yeah wow look at that right I don’t [Music] know it’s kind of a little cold not like cold cold but not like hot either it’s okay it’s got a lot of liquidy cheese in it [Music] [Music] the I think the the cheese on the top is amazing [Music] the cheese and the mac and cheese and stuff not the [Music] best let’s try a french fry the fries are pretty [Music] good how is it not bad how’s the chicken good [Music] good would you get it again I wouldn’t get the mac and cheese again french fries are good the mashed potatoes were good they Mac and cheesy see it’s kind of liquidy and then it’s kind of cold I was hoping it would be like warm but it’s not I’ll take the top of the [Music] cheese all right I’m going to dig into this chicken oh wow look at that [Music] this is really hard [Music] really Hardy meal next time I want to try their chicken sandwich all right so just to show you guys mom and I shared the chicken plate and then and look at all of the sides that we still have left there and just a lot of food I’m so happy that we shared cuz this is a lotoo okay that was good Josh our server was amazing very funny guy did really good I enjoyed it I would come back it was a lot of food was so much food we couldn’t eat it all you guys saw so hopefully you guys enjoyed coming out with us till next time
