Some restaurants charge for splitting it, totals out to the same as buying the full portions. But even their full portions come a lot smaller than they should be. It's sad how restaurants do this but that all depends on the place u go to.
That wasn't dinner…..you could have fed them better with a rotisserie chicken and all the sides at home

Eating out should be a privilege. You should not take those kids out if you can't afford it. There's a difference between financially smart and being a cheap ass deadbeat. Those kids are getting a lesson on how to be hated when you go out to a restaurant.
