you know the difference between these two wines let’s start with sauvignon blanc a wine for citrus lovers this grape is grown all over the world but is most famous in places like california new zealand bordeaux and the loire valley where it’s known as sanser or poifume now like all grapes soming wong’s gonna taste a little bit different depending on where it’s grown you can expect it to be light and body high in acidity so it’ll have that sort of zig zaggy feeling in your mouth with notes in the citrus family warmer regions in places like california will bring out more tropical notes and in new zealand you can definitely expect it to be a little grassy and green gardener is also grown all over the world in places like australia california and south america but it’s most famous in the burgundy region in france i should mention that chardonnay has a certain reputation for being a little oaky and buttery but it actually isn’t naturally either of those things those things are a result of winemaking while often employed don’t always assume all sardinia is going to be oaky and buttery now where silvia blanc leans in the citrus family chardonnay leans more in the orchard fruit family apples pears has a richer softer feel and is usually medium to full bodied want to keep learning about wine check out my wine course

Sauvignon blanc is magnificent 🥂
You forgot to mention that Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand reeks of cat piss.
And cool climate Chardonnays like those from Carneros, some Sonoma vineyards, and Chablis from France are light and citrusy with wonderfully refreshing acidity.
