in today’s documentary we’ll be combining our greatest hits to give you a complete guide to some of the mus dry Beast Ros and restaurants in Paris we’ll have cheese sule buff borino escargo frog legs we’ll also have some Crepes and some of the best seafood and of course some amazing desserts like Julian the if you’re looking for a Parisian authentic restaurant this is the place Chiron all the people that are eating here are parisians and the food is absolutely authentic amazing stuff so I can’t wait to try [Music] it this is a cream sauce with onions garlic and jogs and it’s just crispy toasted French bread like a sour dough French bread and it’s just wonderful now I need so if you come here you want to sit wherever Daniel is serving because this waiter is playful he’s fun he knows his stuff he’s obviously been here a long time and he speaks perfect English in a very funny way awesome this is your waiter my name is Danielle so this is this is of mayonnaise and this is a Quant essential of the French appetizers it’s actually really old school and it’s awesome the Mayo is [Music] I don’t know what kind of goat cheese that is but it feels like somewhere between a really creamy mozzarella sour cream and a goat cheese it is amazing tastes like a great summertime dish it’s um it’s [Music] amazing there is a prototype for a typical Parisian beasto right here the sauce alone is worth ordering the dish I got a little bit mustard potatoes cream sauce this is a very simple dish it’s just really awesome this is just Divine I mean honestly this is really good [Music] prop [Music] and that is a little bit crispy very tender and then the potato is crispy too so it’s just a lot of yum that’s good [Music] stuff I never heard of cfti until my mother-in-law taught me and she made it with apples but the original coodia is made with cherries this one is with black currants and it is extraordinary it’s it’s light it’s fluffy and it’s like oh my God [Music] good we are headed over to sha Savvy which is right off the Sha and right around the corner from Gucci Ralph Lauren Chanel all of these places and we’re going to have a great lunch so let’s [Music] [Applause] [Music] go then we have um what’s called a baby lamb roasted that’s awesome the lamb special of the day sounds fabulous to me it have the pork chop it got a sweet potato on the bottom a perfect it’s really good it perfect I thought it was butter but this is riette that right there is par this restaurant goes back to 1923 and you can feel the age of it a little bit even though it’s been modernized some but they kept the old feeling and the menu has has very typical things you know we haven’t done in a video before the bone marrow which is a very Parisian very French thing to do so I’m going to try that today and by the way our waiter’s name is Sebastian and he was born here grew up in the US perfect English so this cute little spoon is for me to dig the marrow out of the bone and if it’s not salty enough I’ve got this cute little pot of salt that I can add salt and put it on little points of this rad so let’s uh check it out [Music] so I got our Mayon I know if Jo Mayon is again is a staple of uh of French food and they had a world championship contest for a Mayon they didn’t win but they were selected as the finalist for a Mayon this is amazing and the presentation is really really cool so I’m going to give it a shot the C and what I got is a pork chalk served with a glazed sauce served on the bed of mashed sweet potatoes that sounds like heaven so B so what I got is roasted lamb and I’m ready to try that it comes with in peppers and eggplants and celery and different vegetables and it smells [Music] incredible today we’re going to go have lunch at the beastro de perie and again it’s another gem where the locals eat and and I can’t wait to try it let’s [Music] go today we’re having lunch at the beastro dieri and I’m starving I can’t wait and this place looks Charming I bet the food’s just as good what they gave us here is radishes with a little bit butter and uh and some bread and that’s a really typical perisian touch so that’s that already is setting the mood we’re in Paris [Music] here [Applause] [Music] so when you’re in a restaurant and they ask you what you want to have to drink the apparati is usually something a little more special so champagne it’s a wine glass for most Americans but champagne is a perfectly good appar teeth we don’t save it for special occasions in France we drink it all the time with pizza with whatever you want and certainly before lunch it’s a good option [Music] put a little bit of [Music] salt Chin Chin oh yeah oh [Music] yeah something [Music] yes I’m a happy camper the seasoning in here there’s Capers that wakes up the flavor of the meat it’s just so good it may sound crazy to eat Robie but oh my God it’s good it’s it’s classic French and I know why it’s just [Music] good [Music] leave there was a time when I thought profiterol is just a cream PK with ice cream and chocolate sauce but it’s so much more than that it just it’s hard to explain how good this really is I know that when you go to Paris you got to go to ver side you got to L you got to see the iall tower you have to add eating for Shakur out while you stay here this is one of the most magnificent dessert a cream puff vanilla ice cream hot chocolate sauce sometime they put a little bit of almonds but it’s just like trust me make room for dessert and and try it before you go back [Music] home and today we’re going to go and try a quintessential French Beast store called Le V right there they have amazing French food and also one of the best jum be you can have in Paris so let’s go [Music] they don’t eat french fries with ketchup they eat them with [Music] mayonnaise I never in my life imagined pistachio flavored crem Brule that’s good [Music] stuff so today we’re at the beastro belong which is right up the street from gor on the way to mmart and this is a little bit of an institution we’ve been hearing a lot about this place from a lot of different people I want to find out if all the is worth it and so far it looks pretty good like I don’t know what that is but I might need that so what do they have in this restaurant they have a truffle sa 18mon comp country style Pate we’re here on Sunday so they have a Sunday brunch option like eggs benedict or a Welsh mixture of something or a half of a chicken a chicken dish that two people split I have a fish of the day and a sausy puree I’m not sure what a sauses puree is I I I’m going to guess that it’s a sausage with mashed potatoes I would hope it’s mashed potatoes and not a pure a sausage you never [Music] know yeah we’re not starving so we’re splitting this frie salad with lens or bacon and a egg on top people ask us all the time if it’s okay to split a meal Antoine and I split appetizers and desserts all the time and this is going to be a good one you have the fluffy Greenery of the lettuce a little bit of Crispy Crunchy from some croutons the egg is it’s soft it’s a little bit warm and it has a great texture to it the bacon well it’s a big chunk of bacon and the mustard dressing it just rounds it out just right that’s that’s a great combination that looks absolutely delish with a piece of egg like that look at that I’m going to put a piece of bacon on top of it with my fingers the best way to stri a meal with a little salad like that Che he always steals my wine oh no I don’t want any wine he usually doesn’t notice it it looks cheesy it’s very cheesy it’s cheddar cheesy the plates are really hot oh yeah that looks freaking yummy man so this dish is a piece of toast with some fresh ham from the farm and a gooey gooey cheese sauce with an egg on top so let’s see if I can get a little bit of everything in here and oh my goodness in one bite it’s Rich it’s thick it’s gooey it’s salty and cheesy and it’s everything I wanted it to be and this dish came with french fries because we’re American they brought us ketchup which I no longer eat because in France you eat your French fries with mayo oh man you got a little bit of toast you got a lot of cheese you got an egg you got some ham you know wrapped in cheese this is decadence oh man this thing won’t stop look at this I can’t get it oh there you go finally this is an amazing brunch item in a beautiful Brushy this is amazing wow how happy are you that we found this place well this place was recommended To Us by some fans and also by some parisians that said this is a great address that did not disappoint really excellent food they cook it all in front of you in the kitchen the staff has been super friendly [Laughter] oh holy moly look at [Music] this and I thought I didn’t have any room for dessert but there’s always room for profito always I’m so sorry there’s not any left for Colleen but I’m will yes there is yes there is I’m willing to sacrifice myself for the good cost you took my plate today we’re having lunch at the fountain de Mars which is right up the street from the Eiffel Tower across from the berson Breaky that we’ve covered and this is a great little spot to get away from all of those touristic restaurants I think I’m going to have the conf and it says there’s some frogs gr we k and a salad fris so I know I like salad fris I know I like conf de Canard I don’t know how it’s going to be with frogs in it but I’m going to have that so I’m going to have the T for the starter we’ll do the special of the day tomato B it’s going to be light and everything and then they have a cha for dessert this is going to be a great meal it’s a lightly salted butter and I’m going to put a little bit of sa on top of that buttered bread red this is a really good sign of an amazing lunch so today I ordered a glass of woi which is a Burgundy wine fruity light easy to drink and it’s perfect on a uh hot day like today oh yeah it’s very nice very light cool so this should be amazing got the basil sauce on the bottom and that barata here with those tomato and tomatoes in France are fabulous oh my God that’s good oh my God that’s good you keep filming I’ll keep eating you didn’t want to drink [Music] wine oh wow you can taste the freshness of the baraca cheese and again the bread is so thick and so yummy [Music] this is really good I’m enjoying this a lot theof for you thank you where’s the frogs the what where’s my frogs I don’t know I don’t see any frogs on my plates so that’s probably a good thing but this is a crispy duck oh yeah it falls apart oh yeah oh [Music] yeah that’s delicious if you’re ever afraid that the duck might taste ging don’t worry about it that may be true in some places not generally like that but this duck here at the Fontan de Mars is particularly mild very tender and just oh it melts in your mouth it’s especially good with a glass of vendan I was expecting there to be frogs on my duck which is kind of silly didn’t make sense but the word was gr not GUI so that is the kind of potato small thin skinned potatoes so it’s exactly what it was supposed to be and I’m glad there weren’t any frogs on the plate look at that what I like about this is it comes with french fries and a little bit of salad so nice green salad and vinegar perfect too bad you didn’t order one no no no I ordered one this is a chocolate something they call it a Crome which means there’s something crispy on top hot chocolate cake gooey pudding style melting chocolate cake and the ice cream is going that is somewhere between a chocolate mousse and a chocolate cake it’s Rich it’s thick look at that so that’s just the chocolate part slightly warm oh you had a personal moment there I had a moment me and this dessert had a a very deep connection it’s like we were separated at Birth ding you cannot have any more of this dessert I mean this is it’s not chocolate mousse it’s more chocolate cream it’s [Music] warm what moly a little bit of ice cream oh my ice cream fell in the chocolate oopsie but I’m glad I didn’t have a heavy meal because this is and I’m glad I’m sharing with colen getting aside this is good look at this today we’re in a restaurant called the build and we are a block away from the pantheon and just a 3 minute walk from from the Jan lour and this is a typical Neighborhood Restaurant Colleen is the only American having lunch here today there’s only French people it looks like a lot of people have been coming and eating in this restaurant for many years and this is a restaurant where you’re going to get all the French and that is’s glass wait a minute yeah see that’s the French onion soup we’re going to see how it measures up little bit of chees oh yeah oh boy this is a two utensil [Music] event it’s very light you know sometimes the onion soup is is a little heavy that’s a very light very flavorful it it’s almost like there’s a little bit of wine in there traditionally onion soup in France is something we serve at the end of a wedding at 3:00 in the morning or 4:00 in the morning to sober up so it’s always funny for me that people have an onion soup when they visit Paris cuz this is why I associated with it that’s a great onion soup oh look at this cheese that’s exactly what I wanted so this is the entot which is basically steak with fries it is a steak of w they just call it inode because the inode is a cut of me that’s going to be good just like I like it this is for you that’s for me oh man it’s a great CIT there’s something about a stick free and fr sty is amazing look at this so I got the B bino so the reason why I tried B bino is this beastro is no for Theo check how it’s coming apart like I’m I’m going with my Fork gently and this is all coming apart this is top three B bino in Paris if your spouse is having steak free you steal some of their french fries where they’re filming and then you dip it in the sauce and you have it like that and there’s nothing we can’t do about it cuz they’re filming can dip your baguette in the sauce oh look at that and now you have the crunchiness of the bread I have a spoon and I am not afraid to use it while Antoine was busy picking up the camera I stole his spoon so he’s pure out of luck you’re going to break it no you can no now what are you doing oh hold on hold on oh that looks yummy if only you had a spoon oh I do have a spoon no there’s something great about a crane Bruley after a heavy meal there’s usually no room for dessert but there’s always room for a crolet did you enjoy your half of the crane Brule I got to stop filming now so we’re here at crepa log in the morray right close to St Paul and this place came really highly recommended and I’m glad to know about it cuz this is another place that you need to know about in the morray as well they do creps which are the sweet Crepes that you know about and the gallettes which are the saltier version the Savory or lunch kind of uh crep and the one that I got today is cray Parisian which has a cream sauce some ham some swiss cheese and egg and this salty crispy crep and it is delicious so bone [Music] Appetit I love a good crepe it’s such an easy meal it’s usually not that expensive very filling and they’re usually delicious and this one is excellent we’re right around the corner from the s River so if you’re walking by the s in lamare uh close to sample you come right here and this is really [Music] good so I got the uh chicken PA bread sandwich and uh it looks like for it’s got an orange sauce which I think is probably going to be a little bit spicy and we’ll give it a shot and some nice Fe [Music] onions oh this is good oh oh yeah this is a great sandwich you got the flavor I don’t know what the sauce is but it’s tomato base which explains the orange color it’s got a little bit of spice the chicken is tender and you have some onions and some other good stuff underneath I don’t know what I have underneath it looks like a little bit of I don’t know vegetables and stuff but it’s really delicious w a great sandwich we’re in the middle of August so the meres on there’s a lot of stalls that are closed but this one remained open and it’s a great choice they do Pea bread Pita chicken beef vegetarian really good stuff I got the beef pea which I’m not sure why it has bacon on it but I love bacon ooh it’s a green sauce oh pesto maybe look at that I’m going to take a bite of this side M that peanut bread is just crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside we got pesto and beef and cheese and bacon oh my goodness it’s got like pickled vegetables in here it’s messy my fingers are dripping with um with oils there’s a lots of garlic so if you don’t want garlic don’t try that one but oh it’s good I highly recommend trying these pasas at the Yon Rouge on your morray food tour definitely on the list this stop is is buan Republic which is well a bullan style restaurant which means you’re going to get fast beastro stuff you’re going to get classic pieces you can get a bone marrow you can get onion soup escargo the eggs with mayonnaise but today we got the steak free classic French stuff and I got the Demi jerie which is a slow braised pork shank that is to die for so if you’re in the marray this is definitely a good stuff [Music] So today we’re at venos sapan which is literally blocks away from the Eiffel Tower and this place is a cavist store or a wine store that also has some little bites and of course today we’re having the shuder [Music] oh [Music] yeah so we just got the mix plch which is meat and cheese together and they add butter because in France the butter is absolutely amazing these are all regional things the owner of the shop was just explaining to us that the chamel bear came from Normandy the goat cheese is just here from the lir valley this is the Tom Sawa this is a special salted butter from up by Cal and these meats come from all around we have a Copa a dried s we have some hams and French style chizo I always thought chizo was Spanish but this is French style chizo and I can’t wait to eat this stuff Absolutely Fresh fabulous let’s have a bite I can’t wait to try it than from Britany was it the Britany Britany Burundi this is why it’s a good combination it’s a best combination it’s a good blend yeah it’s a good [Music] blend shuder literally means cold cuts or deli meats I always thought it was a presentation style or the name of the dish but it literally means deli meat and so when you have a shur board it’s normally just the meat and this is a mixed plch because it has meat and cheese and I’m ready to take a bite one of the funny things that people do here is they put butter and cheese together and we’ll put just a little bit of the Tom de saoa right [Music] here Tom DEA is one of the cheeses they normally use in a fondue so it has a little bit of a Sharp flavor but not too sharp it’s a little bit soft and it’s just just right so I’m going to try a chizo to start M and what I love about this is it’s not a huge bow Bard you know it’s small I mean it’s still got plenty of cheese and stuff but that’s you can make a whole meal out of that all this yummy stuff I’m going to have a little bit of jeo [Music] here I love a good shate tree border and it makes such a difference when it’s organic and it’s Fresh Products some goat cheese on salted butter on P and bread this is it I mean you go spend the day on the Appo Tower you go up you’re exhausted you do the thing you come here and you come and chill with a glass of wine in this and this is just Heaven oh this is good it’s very good this is some Normandy camel bear and it must be awesome you don’t get anything fresher than that that’s just really good and the bread came from the bakery pan Which is known for having fabul ous bread it is just yummy that one is French thiza and I love how thin they slice it it just it’s basically a paprika sausage and you know what it tastes like it tastes like [Music] more and you see that you have the little pepper corns in here that’s a dried sa sausage which is classic French this is one of the things we miss when we’re in the states is the saly song mhm you can’t get that in the US you got to come here you can try but that’s good and it goes perfect with wine so we are in a restaurant called La gr CR and we are in the heart of s we are right off R Dei which couldn’t be any more centrally located in s this is a fairly small restaurant it has about 45 seats it’s very intimate and it’s on the little side street which I love it in Paris cuz you’re not on a big thorough fair you’re in a little side street L CR is actually a full scale restaurant they have shry board and fuaga and Pate but you can make an entire meal here so this place is amazing after a long day of sightseeing of walking if you’re clocking your steps at about 20,000 steps this is the restaurant to come to to have an amazing chatry board we’ve been here before we couldn’t wait to come back we’re happy to be here and we can’t wait to try some amazing Shu [Music] tree that’s my favorite sound all outside menas you can share everything most of the people they share from the and they takea from the beef until to an amazing restaurant I love this place [Music] CH andak cheeso from Spain so Spain Italy France France in conf the Cherry Jam from th s here you have the hamon the best ham for me ever from Cades in Spain one of the things that makes a shuer board amazing is the quality of the meat and the cheese that they put on them check [Music] so everything here is [Music] amazing that’s nice smooth Trum and this one is a goat cheese goat cheese can be strong it can be grainy and gritty this one is not this is smooth subtle Blends right in this is definitely one of the top places in Paris to have a shering board there’s something about a Shaker tree board in a glass of red wine at the end of a long day that just it’s perfect so that is the toasted bread and a little bit of fig gem I dreamed about that fagra when we left last time that’s good this is [Music] it it’s just just looks extraordinary butter bread and ham like that this place knows how to do a shate Tre board this is extraordinary and this cheese looks like a Bree with truffle I can’t say it’s like butter because it’s not that kind of a texture just like melt in your mouth cow’s cheese with just deliciousness and sometimes the Truffle cheeses overpower the other flavors it’s there it’s subtle everything here like they all celebrate each other nothing overpowers it’s just a perfect combination of flavor oh look at how whippy creamy that marscapone is that is a whipped Cloud pretending to be dessert my turn can I get some nope you just got it okay let’s just be clear on this there’s no weed in this teram sou there’s no such thing as we this is my terasu you’re filming oh no stop wow wow this is good that is amazing no no no no you’re filming stop it Colleen I call the je I swear to God I know I’m not I don’t need time to check there’s no sharing in terasu there is there is an i in team there’s no you and terasu there is a me seriously what what did you do you ate half of it no I didn’t it’s really rich and it’s really amazing it’s an amazing way to finish the evening it’s a great great end of a meal we are on Rue Renee bonger and it’s right at the North End of the maray this looks awesome and voila fresh bread here BR Shuffle homemade from s very creamy there you get the dry sausage onion on pickles so the waiter just told me that this truffle Bree cheese was made right here at the store I’m excited to try it because I love truffle Bree M and it doesn’t get any more fresh than that you’re going to love that so this is a 16-month old come which is not quite as sharp as a Parmesan a lot more character than a Swiss and maybe somewhere in between the two yeah it has a little bit of texture but it’s not gritty like some can be these are very subtle cheeses it’s a dried sausage you you know you can think like pepperoni but it’s not spicy at all it’s just very good flavorful dried sausage these are definitely good quality ingredients I’m going to start with the pate and I took a aside pickle the French pickle which is and it’s completely different than what you have in the US in the US they’re D pickle they’re actually huge and here they’re tiny so we’ll have a pickle with some Pate or with some riette or with some sisso goes with all three of them you have a piece of pate and a pickle that’s how we eat it I love but then I I need some butter so I’m going to get some salted butter I know it may seem crazy to put butter in cheese but that’s really how we eat [Music] it all right so I’m having some rette we have it with a pickle it’s simple yet but for me that’s my childhood and it’s delicious it tastes like home and a piece of bread a baguette riette and corish for me is and a little bit of red wine and this is it here’s my ding to another beautiful day in Paris today we’re trying Louise Cafe which is just a couple blocks away from the Lou we’ve heard it’s amazing so let’s go find out if that’s true the Louise Cafe is a Charming Little Corner Cafe they have seating inside a little enclosed Terrace an all smoking section out front it’s just a really cool fun place that’s just a couple blocks from the Lo and this place is kid-friendly they have a burger on the menu a cro mure which is basically a grilled cheese and you know we have kids in the restaurant while we’re here now and everything is wonderful so kid-friendly wonderful food great location two thumbs up so today I got the chevo salad on toast with a green salad last time coling got this and I was really jealous I wanted to have it hot goat cheese that is toasted on toast with a green salad it’s nice it’s light so I’m going to give it a shot goat cheese [Music] roasted this is so satisfying the tanginess of the Chev R show the hot goat cheese that it’s toasted that just oh the dressing is over Tangy it’s got an edge to it there a little bit extra mustard which actually like and it goes great with the go cheese oh man this is so satisfying oh this is good with a little bit of Sala so red wine that’s sort chilled Sala is from the LA valet region I got basically an Oren ravioli which I’m expecting to be tiny little raviolis in here but I like baked stuff with sauce and I love cheese so this should be great oh yeah look teeny tiny little raviolis it’s no secret the French know how to do cheese but that is exactly what I was expecting exactly what I wanted there’s just something about Crispy Crunchy cheese that I love it’s rich and yummy and I’m really glad I ordered that here this little green salad is a perfect accompaniment for that cuz one’s rich and one should be light and one’s right it is a little bit sharp with a good strong mustard which I think is a good thing I like [Music] it today we’re having lunch in a little cafe and I love this place because we’re a little bit tucked away from the main street it’s called Cafe delera it say about 5 to 10 minutes from Lulu and they have all kinds of stuff here they have some salads if you want something like they have have some meat they have some burger so everybody can be happy here if you have kids and they want Burger and french fries and it’s also a great place to grab a Shaker tree board like if you’re doing an afternoon visit to Lou and you’re coming out in the afternoon you just want to sit down relax recover cuz it’s tiring to be in Lou have a Sharry board a glass of wine they have a beautiful Terrace right here I ordered a Caesar salad and Colleen got a burger I’m looking forward to it that oh messie mie so I ordered the Caesar salad and they told me that it was Revisited Caesar salad and I understand why cuz it has nothing to do with a Caesar salad it’s not Roma but it’s regular uh lettuce there’s parmesan there is some chicken and it looks like balsamic vinegar so it’s really not a Caesar salad but that’s their version Revisited I can’t wait cuz like having a salad when on a hot summer day in Paris it’s a great idea little bit of tomato oh that’s [Music] bacon yeah good good it’s not too dry it’s a good salad yeah it’s it’s lightweight salad with a caveat let we have some oh there is some green beans cucumbers there is tomatoes look at those green beans there little croutons this is a great salad I’m going to enjoy this very [Music] much I got the Iberian burger with pickled onions and chizo and cheese and burger and yumminess and there’s extra little pieces of chizo over here and I am excited to try that and whether I should or not this is finger food I’m going to cut it check that out is that just the yummiest looking thing ever I mean they have regular Burgers but this one just sounded excellent is the other half mine nope it’s mine I wanted to try that and I was a little bit afraid that it would be heavy with chorizo and beef and all of that but this thing is surprisingly light I think absolutely perfect for an afternoon lunch that’s good stuff yeah that looks like a good burger I’m definitely going to get a bite I’m not sharing you want to bite yep I do I’ll share thank you oh it is good that’s a good burger it’s light yeah it’s not too heavy another thing that’s really cool here is it’s familyfriendly they can find something that they want to eat here there’s plenty of choices and if you just want to stop by for a wine and Sherie or a coffe and a dessert Gourmand you can just have a little assortment of dessert move on your way it’s pretty awesome here I like it we got the cafe Gourmand which in France means three little sampler desserts with a cup of coffee I can’t wait to try it we have a blueberry tart an apple tart or tart Tatam and this one is a terasu here goes the blueberry tart I would say they didn’t make it inhouse it’s good it’s not excellent but but I’m more of a fan of the tiasu and the tart that’s light and fluffy that’s delicious I’m a really big fan of tarat I love to make it at home I love to eat it when I’m out that is a French Gem of a dessert let’s see how they do it that’s a winner it’s [Music] excellent that’s mine today we’re eating in sha Suzette which is about a 10-minute walk from the Lou and it’s in a very vibrant little corner of Paris and this is a Bretton traditional French prep restaurant and we’re sitting in an indoor table with open windows to the outside so it feels like an outside they have a little Terrace inside and upstairs and these guys are about about as authentic as it gets this little Cup right here looks like a coffee cup I thought it was a coffee cup but this isn’t a coffee shop this thing is for apple cider because cider is what you drink when you have a and the cider is served in this bowl that looks like a coffee cup it’s called the veggie here at this restaurant it has all the salad and stuff on top and she brought me some dressing but under here we have goat cheesee and yummy inside it’s not a meat CP it’s a cheese CP and as I remember it’s cheese with honey and maybe some nuts and things and I can’t wait to take a bite I’m going to put a little bit of the dressing on top of the salad cuz I’m guessing that the salad would add to the flavor of the crep or they wouldn’t have put the salad on top it’s messy which usually means it’s good there something about theis crispness of the lettuce with the salty of the buckwheat CP and then the smooth texture of the goat cheese all together it’s like sweet and salty and yummy and that is a well-rounded nice crib those flavors and textures go together just right and I don’t know what this sauce is hang on try some of this m it’s like a provencial tomato sauce that’s that’s amazing and it just brings all of it away so just yum that combination of flavors is divine this is a memorable CP right here and I got the classic forer yeah it’s got mushrooms and onions and cheese and this is a classic crepe and I love this one I mean it’s hard to mess up a crate usually always good although I’ve been to places where it’s kind of iffy but this is an excellent grape and what is fun in this restaurant is you have a lot of offices and a lot of business people here you have a lot of parisians here this is a little Parisian Restaurant that people come and have a lunch a crepe isn’t expensive so you can have a good meal without spending a fortune oh look at this m with the mushroom flavor it’s really good it’s a really good crepe and I love the fact that we were sitting indoors but then the windows open and it kind of feels like we’re in the street but we’re not we we walked by it yesterday and I was like I want this table right here I don’t want to be inside I want to be right on the edge so people are walking by and you’re having your lunch and I love this I got the speculo CP that comes with the formula midi you know the little Lotus cookies you can buy them in Costco they give them to on American Airlines and I love speculo this is classic French stuff I learned about it cuz Anon missed those when he was in the states and part of his childhood but I’m having a speculo kind of a I don’t know a cinnamon molasses kind of a cookie that’s a cream from a brown sugar cookie it’s thick it has more than two calories in it and I got caramel with salted butter it’s a typical Brittany uh flavor and that [Music] is that’s a great way to finish a crepe meal with a nice sweet crepe perfect if you go with Nutella it’s a little bit too sweet but this one with the the caramel and salted butter it’s perfect [Music] today we’re having lunch at Le Samaritan I’ve heard it’s excellent let’s go find [Music] out this is a tiny little hole in the wall we’re just blocks away from the L this is a great spot for lunch for dinner or even to stop by for a glass of wine a Sherie just a little apparo it’s just the kind of place that I want to go and hide out and have a little yummy something this is really good you’re going to enjoy that try it it just adds a little something sweet it’s the sesame seeds with the sweet caramelized pickled onions The Rustic yummy feeling of the Pate that’s [Music] good yeah when it comes off the bone like that so the chef apparently is a saer so I’m going to see him make sure I’m going to try a [Music] sauce this is good amazing sauce oh this is so good this is really tender just very well prepared it melts in your mouth it is cooked to Perfection it’s great it’s not too dry it’s actually very moist it falls off the bone the sauce is very well prepared you can tell there is a chef that knows a thing or two about salces this is really good I’m going to come back here it’s one of those meals where every bite has a good blend of absolute [Music] yum check this baby out oh my goodness I was thinking I need just a little bit of that before I knock it all [Music] over it is so warm war and yummy it’s subtle and profound at the same time it’s the crust is just crispy and thin and not overbearing the pear is Sublime it tastes like [Music] more and normally Tartan is made with apple this one is with pear and set it right on the menu but oh my God oh wow oh wow got to take my glasses they’re going to fog up this is so good it’s warm it’s pear so oh oh this is good it’s my new favorite [Music] dessert oh this thing is amazing it’s warm it’s good it’s everything it’s light this is the best dessert to share it’s perfect [Music] today we’re having lunch at the Cafe Du Commerce and this is on the granel side of the Eiffel Tower and it is a hustling bustling very much neighborhood kind of a restaurant it has tall Atrium size you know like like three story high ceiling in some places with plants inside it’s just a delightful little spot we definitely recommend having a reservation if you’re coming here and the food is excellent this is typical where the locals go and we are having just a delightful lunch I got the R Steak limousine from the formula midi which comes with french fries very simple it doesn’t look like a lot on the plate but it’s very filling very satisfying and pretty darn delicious and put that together with a glass of P Noir and your lunch is complete and Antoine got the hamburger which was fabulous just you know brimming with flavor the little sauce comes with french fries that’s a great burger and in this restaurant the formula lunch comes with the main course and a dessert and a cup of coffee I took the profal and Antoine got the dessert dour which was a fabulous giant vanilla macaron with ice cream and caramel sauce and cream chanti or whipped cream and oh my God it was just so delicious if you’re staying near the Eiffel Tower or if you’re just visiting here we highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner and it’s just a great option but remember you’re going to need a [Music] [Music] reservation So today we’re going to go and eat in a neighborhood Cafe right around the corner called osar follow [Music] me so today we are at OS and this is a neighborhood beastro only parisians here actually quite small inside they have a Terrace outside which is delightful today col and I had a form your lunch so you can do the form your lunch for €20 either an appetizer and a main course or a main course and a dessert so what we do with colen is we’ll split she’ll do the appetizer and I’ll do the dessert and then we’ll split everything and everything was absolutely [Music] delightful this is home cooking really good they don’t have a lot of things on the menu they only have like four or five things but they’re all good Colleen had the ve with groa which was absolutely delightful [Music] and I had pork in a cream mustard sauce with mashed potato which was absolutely delightful like the tanginess of the mustard was like oh super [Music] good when we’re finishing this meal with a f CH which looks absolutely [Music] Vines somewhere between a brownie and a fudge and a cake this is a great address if you’re around the eel Tower and you want to have a little French beastro experience you come right here and the waitress speaks perfect English and she’s super friendly and if you want to know where the locals go around the Apple Tower right [Music] here [Music] we have heard great things about leut and I want to know if it’s as good as they say let’s go try it the word the cot means an iron baking dish and that’s how they cook and serve the food here and I’m stealing in once last to make sure [Music] I it’s mine now this is food from the southwest corner of France right by Spain and you can taste the Spanish influence and the old traditional French cooking in those crock pots this place is hustling and bustling with tons of locals and we definitely recommend making a reservation we didn’t have one and we got lucky to get a [Music] seat wow I would have never thought order [Music] this I ordered a glass of s which is a red wine it’s actually C chill it’s really great wine very easy it’s light can’t go wrong with [Music] it this is really [Music] really and delicious they do offer a formula midi or a lunch formula I took my chances with whatever they had today it’s the appetizer of the day the dish of the day and the dessert of the day so I just told them surprise me with that and I was very happily surprised this was a ve and potato dish with a little bit of Spice from the peppers and a little bit of tomato and definitely could feel the Spanish influence and for sure it was a French dish [Music] we’re coming back here yeah we are Antoine got a beef stew that was just melt in your mouth they must have cooked it forever it was [Music] fantastic this melt in your mouth this is one of the best dish I’ve this is amazing this is a symphony of taste this is amazing wow I’m coming back here this is one of my new favorite pairs [Music] wow yeah it’s a satisfying end to a meal that’s my childhood right [Music] there the vibe here is pretty modern it’s you know clean lines all the seating here is like high stools and countertops very modern feeling but definitely old school food and this is an address that Antoine and I are definitely going to bookmark and we will be back here again and [Music] [Music] again we are in a restaurant called ludum which is in the m last train station area and this is an institution in terms of French restaurants in Paris there’s about a dozen of those around Paris which is one of the restaurants that you must try at least once in Paris we picked L because they have amazing seafood and what we’re going to try today is we’re going to try two things the first thing is the babes and the babes comes from uh the city of Marseilles in France it’s actually all the Mediterranean area it’s a fish too and it’s absolutely delicious the second thing we’re going to try is is a solere and the solere is this flat fish and it’s absolutely amazing fish cheers to [Music] [Music] you now that’s how you eat fresh good fish it’s just light and crispy and it’s done to perfection is all I can think those potatoes are whipped like air it’s like air [Music] [Music] potatoes [Music] you can tell they took a long time to cook this with love this looks like a big meal it’s just not a big meal I mean it is a big meal but it’s not like super heavy at all all the the soup and then the all the fish and and the potatoes with it and then that sauce is just very light that’s very delightful [Music] I don’t know how this dessert that looks like that can taste this light and air and fluffy that’s good [Music] stuff [Music] so we’re here at the ktoa De Mer and this place is a fish market a restaurant and a takeout delivery for amazing Seafood platters they have all kind of seafood but they’re best known for their platter of crustaceans and shellfish this place is owned by a fisherman who comes from a long line of fishermen and it’s a seafood store where you can just come and buy oysters and fish and scallops and things or you can eat in the restaurant actually you can get the fish at their market and they’ll cook the fish you pick right here for your meal but we’re here having a large platter of amazing lobsters clams oysters shrimps the Lustine just amazing seafood and we’re trying the sea urchin which I’m a little nervous about but we’re going to try the sea urchin it’s crisp it’s clean and I know that it’s paired perfectly with this Seafood buttery [Music] enjoy [Music] if you want to have a great seafood platter I mean you come here I mean these guys are fishermen his family are fishermen they are in T and do which is Normandy which is 2 hours from here they all fishermen they know the good fish and the good seafood and the stuff you’re going to get here is great quality I mean this is [Music] amazing so cheers I’m told it’s one of the things you’re either going to love it or hate it and I’m a little scared to try it it’s sweeter than I thought it’s not horrible but it’s just bizarre enough that I’m not taking another bite it’s very spongy it’s very unusual doesn’t taste bad or anything but it’s kind of odd I don’t know that would order that necessarily again I’m putting lemon on it see if that does anything to it I would definitely add lemon to it because it changed everything it was actually not bad I think I’m going to finish it that is heaven on a pork doesn’t taste like that when I cook these things at home that’s [Music] good today we’re in a neighborhood seafood restaurant in the heart of sanjam called suon sea but this is a Paran secret if you want amazing Seafood you come right here there’s not a lot of tables you can see right behind me I think maybe there’s like less than 10 tables but this is a great restaurant that is a good Olive tempat on the crispiest little baguette slices and what we’re drinking with this is asiaa this is a white wine from the best country it’s actually R recommended by the people next next table over I can’t wait to give it a shot the wine is a little bit buttery a little bit fruity it’s extraordinarily fresh Light and very easy to drink here’s a French word for you pet which means a little tipsy this is a very fresh cold salmon cake with some kind of cream on top we’re going to find out it’s light and fluffy and fresh and cold but it just tastes like I want another [Music] bite the muscles and Fries is really northern Europe so you you have some in Paris but it’s like all the north of uh of France and of course all of Belgium muscles and fries is Big over [Music] there oh God this is good I’m pretty much sure that this is not good for my diet but the good news is I’m starting my diet tomorrow so we’re good this is a Parisian secret spot their rating is really good and I know why this food is excellent really really good [Music] sometime it’s eggy sometime it’s creamy this one is just [Music] right [Music] we’re here today at the Regis oyster bar in San gerain depre right around the corner from the marbon metro station and this is a place where parisians go this is not a touristic area you’re going to find a lot of locals eating in this place they have their regular customers and you know all of the locals that come here not touristic at all but it’s definitely worth knowing about oysters is something very special in France I mean I grew up in Miami I’ve lived around the Gulf Coast and I never heard anyone speak with such specificity about oysters as the French but there’s all kinds of different points different flavors and they actually taste very different they even have one that they stamp with a letter G just to make sure that no one is claiming to be selling those oysters because they’re very small and in this place it is a traditional Oyster Bar it’s very small they also have uh sea urchin and shrimps and uh some appetizers and stuff a lovely list of wines but this is an oyster bar and we’re going to try oysters of all the different types today I can’t wait if you want me to butcher the French language I’ll say sh very nice easy to drink light and fruity and it goes great with [Music] oyers [Music] [Applause] [Music] he said we should start on this one and work our way around that way of course these are shrimps these are clams and these are sea urchins from Iceland I believe that one is male and one is female and I think you can tell that by the color this should be marvelous because there’s not going to be any fresher oysters anywhere in Paris so let’s [Music] eat so in France they actually put a vinegar on oysters or vinegar with salads some kind of flavored vinegar this one has um it’s not alcoholic but it has a bourbon flavor so we’re going to try that right here that’s good it’s very nice I never had a oyer like that with the bourbon [Music] vinegar oh look at [Music] that they don’t do cocktail sauce here you do lemon you do butter or you do mayonnaise and when I say butter I don’t mean melted butter I mean butter on [Applause] [Music] [Music] bread look really [Music] good [Music] I need more of that so delicate and [Music] delicious this is the way to finish a oise lunch it’s [Music] delicious today we’re having lunch at Brutus this is a quiet little local neighborhood and the locals told us that this place is amazing and I can’t wait to try it let’s go so they offered us a menu in English and the waiter spoke perfect English though I let him speak French so I could practice but it’s nice to know that they do so something that’s funny here is that cider is the typical beverage that goes with crep it’s a sparkling wine made of apple juice and uh what’s funny here is that they have that mixed in cocktails they have a Moscow Mule a cider sour a palm Collins which palm is the play on words for apples or PM and it’s just really funny that they have actual cocktails made with this sparkling wine this is good I’m not a huge cider drinker but I’m in a crepe restaurant I’ll have what goes with crepe and according to the French it’s cider so it’s actually very nice cheers they have a lot of options for different kinds of Crepes but today I’m having the goat cheese with honey and it has like leaks and nuts and things and I can’t wait to try that and Antoine took one with sausage and cheese and a little bit more typical so this should be [Music] delicious it sounds so simple to say a goat cheese CB but the combinations of flavors that they put in here with the the nuts and the honey and the Egg and the goat cheese it’s it’s a darker buckwheat CPE than I’ve seen in a lot of other places I don’t know what they’ve done to it but oh this is just divine I know why people told us to come here this is definitely going on my to go to places it’s um a new favorite this is a celebration of flavors that is just extraordinary if I’m drinking something sparkly I want it to be champagne this one tastes like beer to me and I’m not a [Music] fan wow oh wow this is an excellent crepe I absolutely love [Music] it this is an amazing crepe my crepe was absolutely delish I had the sausage so I like the way they presented it they put the sausage all along the uh The Crepe and then rolled it so every single bite of the crepe you would have a piece of sausage with it it had a mustard sauce which kind of waked up the the the flavor with a little of salad with balsamic vinegar but this is really delightful um I I love the flavor everything the vibe here is neighborhood like this is definitely a sit down restaurant it’s not a to-go kind of a place they have a nice menu for ciders and Cocktails so you can relax enjoy your meal this is definitely a restaurant and not at all a quick food place and it’s clean lines just very comfortable and a little bit homey [Applause] today we’re going to have a crep at the bre Cafe and they have lots of locations but this one here in Paul Burke is their Flagship and I can’t wait to go and see what they’ve got to offer come on they have a ham with truffle and [Music] comp that smells yummy and I cannot wait to try it check this out this is an appetizer uh entree appetizer amuse crap [Music] so my mouth are so so happy it feels like a little bit of honey but on the menu it said this is camel bear with figs and walnuts and it’s like crispy Corners like the way that they rolled it and and cooked it it’s like crispy on the outside gooey on the inside the sweetness just feels like honey but it is figs with camel bear and walnut and it is [Music] delightful that oh yeah oh oh this is good you got the sweet of the Fig and then the camon bear that’s gooey and the crepe and this is a smart appetizer oh oh this is good that’s definitely a great appetizer the vibe of this restaurant is modern with clean lines and it almost feels like a beach with the little wooden benches and the pillows and stuff it’s Airy with with Windows and natural light it’s very [Music] nice French people don’t eat with their hands but this is rolled up it looks like finger food and I may be doing it wrong but I’m eating with my [Music] fingers maybe I need a fork that is delicious the darker sauce is really exciting it’s yummy that’s an amazing [Music] crate this is a Jun Jun Bon so it’s a little bit more flavorful ham and I like it like that you know the cheese the the egg the con and the ham it just makes a really great blend of Aroma and flavors it’s very [Music] delightful oh yeah here it goes oh I can feel the heat oh yeah that’s good on a cold day is it still fliming yeah there’s a lot of alcohol in [Music] there [Music] this is good so glad I got [Music] that there’s a difference between the sweet Crepes and the Savory Crepes this one is a flow base and it is smothered in flaming gronet with sugar and it is subtle it’s not too sweet and on a cool day the heat from that fire was nice and [Music] [Music] warming good today we’re in one of our favorite neighborhoods in San gerain and we’re going to go grab a bite right over here and let Prince rine let’s [Music] go oh that’s so nice I love aino no cuz it’s a very simple wine easy to drink goes with everything and my wife likes it too so she drinks the other half this place is charming and Antoine’s wine is good oh yeah oh B now see this is an amazing spring summer dish like a you know steak this is a skirt steak with a little bit of salad with french fries and a little p sauce on the side this is perfect that for me is Paris [Music] why would you put ketchup on French fries as be on me when you have pepper sauce this is goat cheese on toast with mixed greens caramelized walnuts and Crispy Crunchy apples it’s an amazing [Music] combination and you don’t always get apples on your goat cheese salad but they go really nice in there and delicious the hot goat cheese salad is kind of a staple I remember the first time Antoine got it he was like oh I missed that and uh I’ve been eating it ever since it’s pretty tasty that’s [Music] yummy so this is a uh special of the day it’s a skirt steak apparently it’s beef from Ireland served with a small salad with vinegret and french fries this is excellent great french fries thick cut I like that a little bit of sauce I love these little restaurants around Paris they’re in back streets that not a lot of people know about but this is a great find this is a gem and they open all of these in the in the summer like around May so if you come here during May and June all these windows are going to be open it’s going to be nice to have a little Terrace in the back those was a great I’m going to be back here oh what this done with a pen inil man he didn’t drink half of it drink almost all of it it’s perfect p o in this and I’m happy man this is so awesome before I eat my salad I want to mop up all the sauce with French bread that’s hitting the spot in more ways than one that looks like a good salad you can get a steak free pepper sauce th pu all year round this is kind of a thing that we’ll eat more in the spring summertime than in the winter in the winter you want a uh like AO something thick with the sauce and everything this is perfect great meal steak free a little salad a glass of red wine a little bit of French bread to dip your uh your sauce with it’s an amazing uh dish and Colleen with the the go cheese salad that’s what I would call the quintessential spring summer lunch and Paris I’m going to be back here the food is great the location is amazing the setting is perfect what else do you [Music] need today we’re going to go try a place I’ve been dying to try for a while just around the corner from plaz vome right by the tulies and we’re headed towards the plaz deac Concord let’s go see what they serve at Le sule [Music] and that ladies and gentlemen is a fresh cheese sule that’s like biting into air that’s flavored sort of like cheese in an omelette it’s like fluffy air it’s like whipped cream cheese and egg that is good stuff you got to try this oh W the flavor of this way cheese is really strong I haven’t had a sule in ages and this is well this is the best place in Paris to get sule cuz that’s all they do and the onion soup ooh let me get some juice out of here first they had to cook that thing forever Antoine taught me the onion soup is what you’re supposed to have at the end of a party at late at night where they cook the onions all day long those onions have been boiling forever what kind of bread is in here oh my goodness look at that you know I I always love the onion soup of Jacob Bean but this one is pretty darn good too not all onion soup is created [Music] equal [Music] this oh yeah the flavor the tomato is just wow and they put like some tomato sauce inside of it oh this is delightful what a great dish it’s actually very light tomato the basil oh the flavor is just overpowering in your mouth what’s interesting for me is I were expecting the sufle to be a lot heavier it’s actually very light this is really good the first one with the cheese was kind of like air with omelette and cheese inside mhm this one is a little bit more like Custard with air and cheese and and spinach and things inside spinach is in season this spring and summertime you can see it’s like a little bit wet so it’s like a creamy spinach custardy this is definitely a neat with both your spoon and your fork kind of a place cuz oh yeah the creamy part from the inside without the eggy part on Top it just looks like cream spinach but like man it’s so much better this one has a lot of fresh garlic in there that’s that white stuff is a is a white fresh garlic sauce I love that Antoine get stick always get my second pick so I get everything I want thank you darling Oh yeah check that out I don’t know which one I like better [Music] today we’re going to go and eat at Buon CH which is right across from Gest it’s one of those institutions in Paris that serves all the classics and we’re going to see if they stack up to what we’ve heard about it bu Gest is celebrating their first year anniversary right in this location and what I just got from the waiter is that this is their third restaurant they have one in mon Paras the one in gr Boulvard and this one the one in Grand bouv is always super busy like if you get there at 12:15 you just got to wait in line and it’s not the case here so if you want to have the experience of BU chier you come to this one and you won’t have to wait outside but it’s just not nearly as busy as the other place place and you have the exact same Ambiance the exact same setting and the exact same menu I mean everything is identical same waiter I suspect he’s going to write the stuff on the table so oh this is cool because the the wine is actually refrigerated so it’s cold wine it’s basically house wine it’s really Fresh So in the spring and summer it’s a little bit warm outside you want to have a glass of wine yeah it’s chilled it’s not amazing wine but you’re not coming to Shak for their wine list so this is Avoca s cette so it’s basically a little sauce with shrimps and um served over an avocado and this is you know one of those typical French appetizer that you’ll find mostly in basic restaurants but it’s actually very nice it’s delightful it’s some mayonnaise flavor with tomato with a little pieces of shrimp in there served inside of avocado it’s just really [Music] nice it’s one of my favorite things at Cher it’s light it’s fresh and delicious cheers darling [Music] mer all right so this is a bud no and this is an AC quiet taste this is the equivalent of basically what the British call Pudding it’s a blood sausage basically and in France it’s served with a little bit of a sauce with the mashed potato it’s not something you chew it just melts in your mouth it’s not a very strong taste but it’s Define taste like buan tastes like buan and it’s always served with mashed potato it’s just really good rinse it with a glass of chilled red wine it’s really good so in France the budano is served with usually with mashed potato but often time with an apple which is the proper way to do it and it’s a cooked apple look at that a cooked apple with a little bit of budano good yeah it’s very surprising and the sweetness of the apple with the budano is really good most people coming to France think about the steak free but the chicken with fries is really good too but one of the funny things about Chicken in France I’m trying to get into the joint over here to separate it and the joints are a lot more connected they don’t fall apart easy this is not a Costco chicken which I love but this is a definitely a farm raised chicken and you can taste the [Music] difference [Music] today we’re in the middle of lar between the hotel DeVille the central Padu and the archives and we’re going to go check out this place over here leou desar and see what they have cuz I’ve heard they have amazing cro mure and different light faed things for the spring and summertime let’s go so this is a ham Shang Jambo which is a honey lame chank with rice and ratou they have a truffle omelette with french fries they have and a camar burger well we’re going to do the the spring Su things so we’re going to have an omelette and I’m going to have the classic cro Madam yes yes yes yes oh mercy you got to start with a french fry oh I love fries but The Omelette is one of the light things that people eat and this one’s coming with truffles they have other flavors of omelets here but I’m a truffle fan too it’s not just truffle oil again there’s actual truffles in there which is a really important distinction truffle infused eggs or something it’s really nice and what’s interesting is when we ordered she asked do you want it runny or or well done you know like I’m used to that with meat but I never had anybody ask me if I wanted runny or solid eggs before she said bavo which means drooling so I didn’t want the drooling eggs I got mine well done I love that they give you a little jar of mayonnaise here with your French fries that’s a typical northern European thing with french fries mayonnaise I got the C Madame which is basically a c mure with an egg on top and I haven’t had a c Madame in ages so you could see there’s an egg and underneath is the CL matu this is going to be awesome I haven’t had a crock myam in ages so think ham and cheese sandwich grilled cheese sandwich basically with ham it’s got a little bit of bashal which is a cream sauce you put an egg on top of it served with french fries a little bit of salad and some mayo look at that it’s not super light just having a salad would be a very light lunch but you know it’s not a Boro it’s not a onion soup it’s not those big things that are you know really stuffing [Music] today we’re having lunch at Amore Mio which is right near gor in the canal s Martin area and I have heard these guys have amazing pizza and I can’t wait to try it there is one with tomato mozzarella mushrooms and ham well what about the pizza of the day right here well there this is mozzarella roet is arugula chiad that’s something some kind of turkey yeah uh strella is a an Italian meat tomato cherry tomatoes a zest of Citron and artichokes that sounds good too yeah let’s do it cool let’s split it okay cuz I think they’re big I saw some big ones over [Music] there [Music] there you [Music] go oh [Music] yeah check out what I’m Ving is thyme or Rosemary on this lemon it just looks so pretty it was nice that we told them we were going to split it and they cut it up for us in advance so that that was an extra nice thing those are guys are Sicilians they take their pizza making very seriously these so these aren’t French guys making Italian pizza these are real Italian Sicilians yeah those are Italians those are actually not Italian Sicilians I know I’m in France so we’re going to eat it with a knife and fork cuz that’s how French people eat pizza first I have to say I would never have thought to put those ingredients together but you can’t imagine how they I mean it’s it’s like they play off each other like crazy good never thought of lemon on my pizza but man that’s tasty that’s not your regular pizza and mozzarella pizza that is that’s some good stuff yeah the bread quality the ingredients are fresh this is an amazing Pizza I got a glass of Rosé today a lot of time we drink Rosé in France with the pizza cuz it’s a summer thing it’s and they’re very nice they’re not as sweet as what you have in the US so oh yeah this is so fresh it’s perfect with pizza cheers sometimes you need help drinking it it’s funny cuz in the US I very rarely ever drink Rosé okay I never drink Rosé in the US but Antoine for to try it in France and it’s just not the same it’s got a crispas it’s not too sweet it’s it goes down pretty darn easy this is as close of Sicily as you’re going to get in Paris we’re literally 5 minutes walking distance from gardo if I had a train to take I’d come here grab a pizza before my train wow it’s really good yeah and they have it to go you can actually order it and take it with you and it goes great with a rosé actually this Pizza goes amazing with a Ros really a good [Music] idea so today we’re eating at sharo which is a Italian restaurant in the San area we’re like 5 minutes away from Cafe De and this place was highly recommended by locals for great pizza great Italian food overall so we’re really looking forward to give it a try so this restaurant like most restaurants in Paris offers a formul de or lunch formula you had a small salad then a meal a pizza or a pasta and then dessert and coffee and it was less than €20 so that’s an amazing deal Colleen ordered the pasta which came in a cream sauce and a little bit of citrus side to it and I got the Margarita Pizza which is your basic tomato sauce mozzarella very simple pizza so so let’s see how good they [Music] are there’s something about the crust in Europe that is different it just for me tastes like pizza pizza margarita actually pizza margarita is the pizza you want for kids it’s basically tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese it’s as simple as it gets and it always does the [Music] H I’m going to try it like that today just seems like the sin to cut it it’s so simple I mean it’s pasta with cream sauce and lime but it’s just the right combination of flavors again I know why this place was highly recommended you got to try this one it’s [Music] yummy that one’s mine [Music] this was an amazing Pizza I ate the whole thing I didn’t think I was going to be able to finish but it was really delicious and I killed it except for a couple of bites that Colleen stole but I ate most of it so the vibe at chibaro it’s basically a neighborhood restaurant uh small round tables of two so if you’re four they put two tables together and it’s just a fun little back street uh if you didn’t know it was there you probably wouldn’t walk by it except that we uh some people recognize we’re walking in the street so we wave at them they waved at us but it’s not very touristic unless you know this restaurant is here you would probably walk by in the big road over there and never come here but this is one of the amazing places in Paris to have a great pizza and pasta so I highly recommend it and I got the pla dour which was a Linguini with cream sauce little bit of citrus a little bit of pepper and it was so subtle so delicious again it’s one of those things that I wouldn’t think of making at home but I’m really glad that I tried it absolutely delicious oo thank you I’m pretty sure that this is some kind of a tiasu what is it oh yeah yeah that’s a tasu that is an individual looks so yummy tiasu to go with my coffee that’s delicious I’m really glad you’re filming cuz while your hands are busy I can eat yours [Music] too today we’re going to Visio and we’ve heard their Pizza is divine and it’s right by the church at San gerain right by D go so let’s go try that check this out in France they put eggs in things on their pizza but also like here this one is with tuna tuna on a pizza I would never do that I’m not going to try it either I’m [Music] chicken we decided to split our pizza today cuz they’re pretty big and we chose the tartufo which is a fabulous oven roasted pizza with mushrooms and cream and shaved truffles like you can actually see big pieces of truffle right there on top of the pizza and the combination of flavors is just oh my God to die for this is a phenomenal pizza and I’m so glad we chose this one my mouth is so happy yeah just what’s so interesting to me is how they choose to combine different flavors you know like I would never thought about putting truffles on a pizza I don’t know there’s just something very subtle in the way things blend and and go together it’s [Music] fabulous oh yeah well that’s a different flavor oh yeah with the Truffle it’s just not unusual flavor but that’s really good as they say in uh Italy Perfecto I don’t know if they say that but that’s what I would say if I was Italian bimo the vibe here is kind of classic rustic but really in in an elegant sort of a way and we have exposed beams wooden stairs some brick it’s a very warm feeling here and it’s just a great place to to stop in at the end of the day you know whether you’re here for lunch or dinner but it feels like a great place to stop at the end of the night have a bite to eat on your way back to the hotel families couples anybody that wants to stop by this would just really be a great option and it’s a great place if you have people that eat different things you know they have a lot of different kinds of pastas and pizzas so for picky eaters or vegetarians or you know there’s something for everyone here on the menu and it’s just a really great spot for just about anyone you know families groups couples you know just a great spot [Music] it [Music] out it out so what are we going to eat now so we’re going to eat a pate and this one is just in the middle we have some and some pistachio on the middle you eat that cold and this is a winter [Music] dish have that hey check it out [Music] it [Music] [Music] out oh yes I’m very sure I’m going to test it and I’m going to make you discover this dish this is a frog legs and this is I have to I have to do this with my fingers I’m sorry if I embarrass you in the restaurant but look at this sh W this is he’s going to [Music] is it bones in there yeah of course this is a leg just like a chicken I know it makes if it’s just like chicken why aren’t we eating chicken because this is frogs and you’re going to you’re going to try something different it’s a nice small bite tastes like meat and garlic yeah and I’m willing to have another bite too exactly [Music] [Applause] so it’s true it tastes like chicken and this one tastes like chicken and garlic I was expecting something a lot like um you know from the Bayou from uh from the swamps in Mississippi or Alabama or something but this actually tastes like it’s like something you’re supposed to E eat yeah and it’s actually delicious it is it is delicious that you understand now why we eat frog legs yeah it’s like chicken wings yeah I wonder if they sell them with a buffalo sauce you know what we can do is we can go in the in the woods next to our house and then find some frogs and then with buffal don’t even think about that I don’t want to see the before and after but now it’s your [Music] turn I got to tell you something tastes like chicken I mean honestly if you’re watching this and you want to try frog legs but you have a lot of apprehension I mean don’t it just it literally tastes like chicken go for it don’t be afraid you just grab the frog [Music] legs oh this is good I think a lot of people would think it’s chicken but it’s not it’s [Music] frogs oh yeah best garlic bread [Music] ever so now you like it yeah say it’s it’s good so when we first got here I was pretty nervous about the frogs I’ve eaten this gargo before in American restaurants but the frog legs I haven’t seen in the US very much if ever and I was pretty nervous about trying it but I trust vincon and if he tells me it’s good I got to be willing to try it and they’re actually pretty good and the way we had them today is in swimming in garlic butter so it was very nice very nice indeed I think you should definitely go for it [Music] wow we might need a couple more of these that’s good yeah this is good that thing is a big fluffy mering sitting in a puddle of like a vanilla cream with caramel sauce draped all over it and it is amazing really good that’s cheers to you cheers what kind of cheese is it this is what we’re calling Tom or when it’s starting to Melting you push with what we calling theet Ah that’s the ret and the is the knife you use to spray the cheese exactly and you have two sides this one is soft if you don’t like the crust and this one if you want to cut the hot crust to push it on the potatoes and [Music] Shak pickles in France are not the same as pickles in the US they’re very small and they’re very crispy they’re brind with mustard so it’s not the deal and and vinegar feeling that we’re used to and I love these M they’re very crunchy very good [Music] pickle oh yeah oh my God it’s so gluey oh yeah bracklet is a medieval meal from cow herders high up in the Alps they traveled with dried meats and potatoes because they were easy to store they put their cheese by the fire and poured the melted cheese on boiled potatoes and the sliced dried meat this cousin of fondu has been a hearty delicious meal for literally over a th000 [Music] years yeah h oh yeah that’s [Music] good oh this is awesome this is really good oh this is good it’s not good for diet but this is really good A bit of we took our teenage kids to have Reet and fondue they were just is like in awe of the gooey cheese and the fire heating it up it was just such an amazing time they loved it so if you have kids don’t worry about this deal it’s way better than mac and cheese and better than you can imagine what kind of cheese is in here actually you have four cheese you have B imal what’s in the fondue what it’s cheese and what else do you put in there a drop of uh white wine and um [Music] nuts do you want one [Music] more the this is very very good the close cousin to racket also from the Swiss border is fondu Saad and how can you say no when the owner of the restaurant asks you if you want to try their funu as well the answer is yes that’s good stuff this is the Vash actually uh there is some ice cream between two slice of mang and the ice cream is made with chart and CHR is very strong alcohol for the end of the dinner or lunch uh usually we used to say that when you are full of food you just drink a shot of CH and you can eat again I never had crunchy ice cream before but the Bing makes it crunchy it’s extraordinary here Anne take a bite wow I’ve never had that it’s like a crunchy ice cream it’s like the mering with the ice cream oh this is really good that’s is the perfect dessert after a meal like this because you’re so full with the cheese and everything but this is actually very pleasant I love it the crispy mering makes [Music] it it is Crispy Crunchy Ice Cream with alcohol so what more could you ask for [Music] n

Thank you so much for doing a restaurant compilation like this! The format makes it easy to see the restaurant, location, and the train station info.
I live in Australia and I adore fries with mayonnaise 😊

We know when Antoine really loves a dish. He starts conducting his taste bud orchestra!! 😂
I'm starving now. Looks fantastic.
Finally, had better food in Quebec than in Paris.
Wonderful videos no doubt but I remember about a year ago asking why Les Pubs were not included in the breakdown of resto types and was quite shocked to be 'scolded' by them for daring to question their expertise of Parisien dining. No doubt the French understand food as I understood from living there in my youth and from dozens of visits to Paris over the years. The quality of work in these videos is superb like the food but I dearly hope the Parisian rudeness and dismissiveness stereotype has not become part of the package. That part we can do without. When viewers point out something you might have missed, why not embrace it (even if you disagree!), you (and they) might be all the wiser for it. Bonne chance!
Each time my friend visits me in Paris, I watch your video again; thank you very much for the amazing recommendations!

The problem with society is that old people eat well and go home to pass gas while young eat poorly but live life. So old people should be eating canned soup, not moi.
Amazing video! Thank you for this!!

The worst bistros/restaurants are found on phony lists like this.
The best bistros/restaurants are found by going somewhere and asking locals where they’d eat.
After a week we threw out the list we had built from lists like this and started asking locals.
The quality and variety of dishes went through the roof!!!
