[Music] good morning morning it is day three day three a three yes we’re in Porta plada today Dominican Republic at the uh Kano Bay uh Port I guess they have two ports here Kano Bay and Amber Cove and we are at Tano Bay yeah they’ve got some sort of pool and other things so we’re going to go go and check it out and see what there is to see and of course bring it with us of course yes and we’re going go down and grab some breakfast and uh and uh see what we can get yeah just a little something something to pain off the morning starvation we’ve got locer tonight so we don’t want to fill up today I want to be nice and hungry for dinner yeah specialty dining got to be hungry but come along and escape with us to Puerto pla Dominican Republic Escape Escape uh breakfast morning I got an omelette and some raisin French toast with some blueberry compo little bacon and Robin got two eggs over easy a banger and a chocolate croissant and [Music] a is it oh wa [Music] [Music] tyo Bay cruise port located in the enchanting city of Porta Plata Dominican Republic is one of the newest Cruise ports in the Caribbean nicknamed the Amber Coast due to its large Amber deposits this region is renowned for its white sand beaches waterfalls and Colonial architecture with a rich history stunning Landscapes and a vibrant cultural scene tyano Bay is a destination worth exploring let’s get to it [Music] fresh coconuts beer International yeah map of Tano Bay so you can see what’s going on and what they have here as you can see they’ve got day beds they have a uh surfing simulator where I got guessing a Flow Rider a pool bar s and all kinds of stuff while there’s no beach swimming access at tyano Bay complimentary lounge chairs are set up on the sand for guest to enjoy the view here we are making our way through the dutyfree shop to the actual Port area where they have the stores and there’s another map on this side too you can find these complimentary aviaries all around the port these are available at no additional charge and are kind of cute for all you Wildlife lovers out there there is Monkey Island where visitors can interact with squirrel monkeys for a small fee oh it looks fun the [Music] swings hello hello today I’m good thank you how are you good Smiley it’s good yay [Music] the Blue Parrot got restaurant hanging out bar and there seems to be a pool over here yeah said it had a river [Music] as you walk towards the lazy Riverside up here on the left will’ll be some men’s and women’s bathrooms and I believe there’s some lockers as well obviously because there’s a lazy river so you can change oh there it is oh wow it’s a real River [Music] [Music] little hi we ran into people we’ve seen having beers what’s that pres Presidente [Music] go so after having stopped off and hung out for a while with our new friends Jason and Christine we kept on with the tour there a pool bar y tiki Tiki the tiki Tiki pool bar oh cool [Music] statues have a Lazy River entrance over there for tubing it’s no cost some surfboards and a kitty pool with hammocks for the parents we were feeling a little bit too lazy for the Lazy River so the line was eh a little long we figured nah we’ll skip it and just finish the tour so here comes what we do next Escape [Music] [Music] oh [Music] what could go wrong oh no don’t ever say that don’t put it in the universe it’ll be all good [Music] [Music] she [Music] [Music] thank you short these hats are wow yeah little teeny tops these are cute a [Music] you sleepy sleepy bird sh attack what sh attack yeah they is Ming I know sh attack it’s a [Music] shk that cute [Music] and when going back to the ship always look for the dutyfree shop and you’ll find your way back to [Music] ship going back [Music] head back head back just take a little look [Music] around hi we’re going back L of Jack ambering going on got that nice Island Vibe so here’s the full port here of Porta Plata over here is the uh lazy river and then over here is the pool where the pool bar and some uh um restaurants and whatnot and then the walking area on the shopping back to the uh where you get on the ship that big round building over there we’re in the hot tub hot tub hot tub hot tub water is full cold in the pool so we figured hot tub would be better certainly is relaxing yes it is here we are at the buffet we’re grabbing a bit of lunchin Steve got some what’ you get I got some beef Curry I got a jalapeno and cheese Panini uh some shrimp salad on a tortilla some pizza a meatball and some Roy there you go and I got some pasta with bonisee little meatballs uh this thing which I don’t know what it is but it’s Indian food one of the wraps like steeve and a slice of pizza yum I went back and talked to the chef who was serving this and it’s called paroa and it’s got okra in it it is so delicious not slimy at all really good I love the Indian food on any cruise ship so good this is Steve’s peach cobbler with a little chocolate sauce and he got a piece of key lime pie with a wedge of chocolate and what’s underneath like smear or some kind of orange smear this is the Spiner Lounge up on Deck 13 they do some sort of parties or performances up here this is a pole and it’s got a view of the other ship we’re behind the Escape couple nice Christmas trees oh yeah here is the video arcade we have a couple of down games Guitar Hero and typhoon got quick shot superc cars Mario Kart Split Second crypto crane with Halloween stuff we got some Superstar good prizes a Jurassic Park and sit down game got got some stacker some decent prizes he claws which suck and a Halo fire team Raven and another stacker back there and a key master course they got your Plucky dinosaurs and little bit of Plucky ducky over here pretty small but cute nice to have somewhere for the kids to hang out oh and the hot shot basketball that’s always fun and there’s the Steve Splash Academy is also next to the arcade [Music] good evening good evening it is the evening of day three which you know obviously I’ve already said earlier it was day three so we’ve clarified the the day threeness of this Cruise uh and also clarified my my soety of this Cruise uh so we’re getting ready to go to Lina it’ll be our first on going to norwegian’s Italian restaurant so that be fun exciting yeah yeah we’ve been to you know carnivals kin Del Capitano a bunch of times and I think we’ve been did we go to Royals Italian restaurant or no think we we didn’t oh no yes we did because we had that right oh it’s amazing check that video below when we have the Royal Caribbean there’s a link below for the for the Royal Caribbean Italian restaurant it was really incredible so hopefully Norwegians lives up to the Royal Caribbean one cuz that was fantastic it was really good I’m looking forward to it wish it was hungry but we we you know it’s it’s hard eating keto and then and then going on cruise and not eating keto CU you fill up rather quickly you’re not as hungry as you might have been once when you were 100 pounds fatter than you are now also you you can’t hold as much alcohol as you could when you were 100 pounds fatter than you are no had two martinis that I am feeling no pain at this point so we’ll take you to Italian restaurant and show you what it’s like because it’ll be new to us so hope be new to you new to you and come along and escape with us to Lucha for specialty dining on the Norwegian Pearl the Norwegian Pearl Escape we have our view which I didn’t show my window’s a little bit um skunky but is pretty good sailing away from Dominican [Music] so we are at Laina and we have ordered our wine we’re having french wine which is amazing it was like s it was $99 a bottle we came with our package though so it’s quite fine and we’re having our bread service with bomic a little parmesan little oil olive o we’ll show you what comes in a moment appetiz of course I’ve got the Yi and Robin has the uh fucini alfredo with mushroom my Y is obviously an a pesto sauce delicious so we’ve just had our appetizers and I had fetuccini Al fungi which is fedini Alfredo with mushrooms it was fantastic so good pasta was smooth delicious fresh the sauce was absolutely creamy they topped it with some fresh parmesan wonderful wonderful and the bread I haven’t had bread in a while and it’s to die for it’s so good Steve had a noi with pesto sauce it’s wonderful very flavorful pillowy little nois and so good we’re really enjoying this meal we’ll bring you our Entre into the set I’ve got a amazing looking beef tenderloin with a blue cheese ravioli and some obviously some some blue cheesee sauce drizzles around it Robin got some lasagna look at those layers you see them on that side [Music] good evening good evening we just finished dinner at the laucha and it was incredible incredible it was really good I me we’ve we’ve had Italian restaurants on most Cruise Lines Carnival and royal royal was really good Royal was a really good I mean Carnival was fantastic as well we eat Carnival Italian a lot laucha or cuch Del Capitano uh Royals the the we didn’t go to JB’s Italian went to the other one but that was incredible this was hands down better hands down so good so good I mean the the I had the uh beef tenderloin and it was as good as the filet at listro but with no upch charge yeah totally uh there was you know little blue cheese ravioli like one on top one on the bottom little blue cheese sauce so if you’re not into blue cheese you can certainly avoid it but if you like blue cheese it adds nice salty compliment yeah yeah I had some fetuccini Alfredo for my appetizer as you’ve seen and the lasagna so good the bread was even amazing bread was amazing and I ate dessert I never eat dessert I don’t like dessert usually order dessert so that I can eat it yeah but it was chocolate Tor it was so good it was very good I ate it all I even ate the raspberry and I don’t like raspberries uh who ever heard of snowberry it was very good super good yeah we we highly recommend the the Italian restaurant in uh on uh Norwegian it was very good yes and we have our upgraded drink package so we’re able to order a bottle of wine shate de poop orop de Bap I don’t know what it was but it was French and it was it was either $79.99 picture of right here yeah right here we’ll put that picture but uh so good delicious wine very good tasty all around service was fantastic my lasagna was hot from the first bite to the last last and it took me a good 10 15 minutes to eat it and the bread was the bread was hot and delicious and every time we ran out they would bring more hot bread every time we out a wine they would come pour a wine pour it for us it was it was an incredible service incredible experience it was real good I would I would do that again in a heartbeat even if I was paying for it uh you know separately ours was part of our package if we didn’t already have Madero and Cy booked for other nights we would certainly book Lu China again oh yeah in a heartbeat so really good so we’re back at our windy ship we pulled out just as we were going to dinner y from our Port uh in Dominic rep we’re head head to to torola apparently too they changed our port on us which we didn’t even know well they didn’t so we were originally scheduled to go to T tyo Bay and then for some reason Amber Co showed up in our schedule but then we ended up going to Tano Bay but I had looked at I had looked at the Amber Co schedule for the month and we weren’t on it so we were going to T Bay no matter what but for some reason Amber Co showed up in our daily schedule yeah I think that they were making the decision because we’ve heard right there was some wind issues but uh yeah but tyo Bay was fantastic they had they had an import pool they had a lazy river uh all all completely free there are some Wave Riders you could pay for and you know some uh drinks and restaurants and whatnot but they had a lot of free import entertainment going on at T Bay it was a it was a really good Port stop regular shopping stuff every port you know you’re going to you’re going to get your Bahama your uh piranha Joe’s and your car Loa diamonds International per is a new one I haven’t seen a shark attack they had two locations there but they were clearly a cruise ship owned as they have all the same garbage they have in every other stuff high price you can buy it much cheaper later exactly it’s certainly not you know local Craftsman making local Wares yeah but you know it was still a great port and a great stop yeah it was a great stop great firstport and uh tomorrow we’re heading for torola yep we have our Virgin Gorda bath Excursion apparently there’s a lot of phys physical activity going on so we’ll see how we do Yik we’ll certainly bring with us and see how it is yeah but uh we’re going to head out for some evening activities now um we don’t know what but there’s no parties going on tonight there’s a party going on tomorrow night so uh by day four apparently there parties on a n night cruise but uh the first 3 days not not too much going on yeah but we’ll uh we’ll see what there is z and uh bring it with us all right so come along and escape with us we’re heading down Escape Escape we just went and tested the fates a bit and Steve did great he won another 150 bucks so he’s up 200 and I’m down 100 so we’re even we’re headed to the Marini Bar for a night cap and we’ll see you in a minute well this was the footage I took at the bar and it was literally just a guy playing piano I remembered this night and we just cashed it in we were exhausted big day tomorrow too with the Virgin Gord of baths we’re getting there via the port of torola and it’s a adventure you don’t
