We Made It To France! First Stop CHAMPAGNE | Winery Stays

Woooo! We crossed over the Belgian border to a lovely warm welcome into France. After a 4 hour big drive, we ended up at one of our favourite wineries that we visited last year! There are so many vineyards all around Europe that allow you to stay the night AND do some wine tasting 🥂 all in exchange for buyig a bottle of their finest!

We also explored the little town where the vineyard we located and got the best pastry morning out of it!

We’re going to be exploring the Champagne region for a few more days, as we head down to the south coast of France. Exciteddd!

everybody we’ve got a long drive ahead
of us today we’re doing about 4 hours
we’ve just left Belgium and we are
heading to Champagne time to stock up on
some more

we’re going to this evening is the best
little boo lingerie which had if I
remember correctly the best crossant
that we had in the Hall of France last
time they were unreal which is so good
selfish but I think from also from
memory I think they were only open from
like 700 a.m. till like 9:00 a.m. I mean
when we get there when we go tomorrow

welcome to champagne or we should say
welcome back to Champagne because we
were here around this time last year
actually we’ve just parked up we’re
going to go for a walk now with Bowie
need to stretch our legs spin in the van
for about 4 hours haven’t we long I
think it’s about 4 and a half and then
we’re going to do a de which means wine
tasting so very excited I think we’ll
buy a bottle or too what do you think
well I think it’s come courtesy isn’t it
you stay at the place free and then I
just nice as to buy a bottle so instead
of paying for a campsite the effective
stay buying bottle champagne yeah yeah I
think majority of the French stays will
be Farms Vineyards yeah it’s always the
best just again I mean there’s plenty of
free campas spots around but it’s just
nice to be in these environments and
taste the local produce if you like so
right we’re going to go finish this walk
and then go and do our wine tasting

so it’s a little early for the vines yet
so as you can see they’re quite sticky
at the minute but there are bits green
coming through it’s more than we saw
last year cuz there were just sticks
last year can you smell
it

see so this one was the first one we
tried and we’re now tasting the extra

brute oh we absolutely love doing the
Wine Tours here they’re so good so we’ve
just finished we bought
our bought our boot so she’s going to
get it for us now so it was 6 1650 so
cheapest chips so good we absolutely
love doing this it’s just so nice to do
the wine tour obviously like we couldn’t
really understand much because she’s
very French and doesn’t speak any
English and we’re very English and don’t
speak much French you can speak a little
bit it’s a TR P yeah it’s just brilliant
we love doing it and yeah I think we’ll
do another couple over the next few days
def that’s the first one done here she
here she comes with our bottle now we’ll
definitely do some more over the next
few

think and then we’ve just met some
fellow van lifers Julia and Thomas and
their dog Ka so yeah nice to meet some
other people on the road so this is the
first place we SE tonight it’s called
champagne bouquet so you can find on PA
and eyes we did that’s what we found it
and then last year we uh stayed oh there
b last year we stayed on the grass here
but because they’ve had a lot of rain
and stuff like that we’re actually
staying up this hill here behind the
building is a tall maky flat bit that’s
where we’re staying tonight so it’s a
really nice spot to stay and I mean PID
the B champagne 1650 so the other Camp
States we were staying out were at least
20 in the Netherlands so we saw again in
a free park but about the champagne for
a cost so works out a lot better here
and I think over the next coming days
even though going to like to drive quite
fast down to the South we’re still going
to stop at Wineries and stuff on our way
down top up our wines and then Happy

wow okay so we ran out of there it was
way too expensive €8 for a kilo grapes
love it was 750 for a melon or
315 that’s crazy and now we’re at the

and then a car came around the corner
and I had came
out so exitting got the goods we got the
goods oh she was dead cool then she was
like posing and everything like she was
doing I got I panicked bit though cuz I
was like trying to film and then get my
phone out and car I like doing that with
the camera it was going
everywhere but we got
AA
and yeah they ran out of the original
but that’s fine almonds are good as well
they had crants but they were reserved
on a nice little little picnic basket
yeah so it looks like they
preservation it’s okay got the goods go
back now get some coffee and go have
that’s what I wanted to do stupid

little just like a little loud cargo
around the circus it’s just so unusual
but it’s so so sweet you know it’s a
little tiny French Village and they’re
obviously trying to get everybody
excited to come see promote c yeah very
cute I mean I’m sure it’s not what
people want on a Sunday morning but

hill that we didn’t go to cuz we’re too
lazy but and that’s a town Nam chatillon

in the rad so we went either way so I
went one way sh went the swearing that
it was the correct way we need to go
into the where the van is and I swear I
was I was right but I was
wrong so someone’s going to rub it in my
face shortly Bri should know never to
challenge me on directions cuz I’m
surprisingly good better than Google
Maps I think anyway so he thought the
downhill way back to the van was the way
he’s gone and that’s the uphill way I’ve
come the downway he was like no we
didn’t walk past that school we did he’s
going to be
embarrassed cuz I was right again can
see the van
now it’s okay because the way I come in
I get to walk quite a steep hill so I
learn my qu whereas Lauren she
won’t I’ve had the very easy downhill
stroll back to the van rich is going to
have to walk all the way back and I can
just see Ringo there up top of the
hill so I’m about to
get about to get laughed at let’s watch
the struggler come up the
hill yeah but I just saying i’ I’m
earning my crant working up this hill I
ear my cross on walking uphill to get
theming who’s correct who was right
