  1. This video used to be on YouTube and disappeared, and I’ve waited years to hear Julia sing “petite fondue frites” at 0:10 again. Thank you!

  2. I owe Julia a great debt of gratitude. Being raised by soutjern country grandparents and a southern country mom who cooked southern country foods, she opened my eyes to a wider range of recipes. I would hurry into the house every Saturday afternoon when it was time for 1 of her shows to come on PBS and shut the bedroom door so I could focus on the days episode. Now I have the pleasure of enjoying cooking with my daughter and granddaughter & trying new things all because of Julia.

  3. Did you change a setting this upload? The video was interrupted by obnoxiously many mid-roll ads. I nearly quit watching altogether.

  4. I wanted to see who she was after watching the ERB Gordon Ramsey Vs Julia Child rap, and she is just as funny as I thought she would be! I will be watching more

  5. I'm forever impressed that all of Julia's shows were on live TV.
Everything was "what you see is what you get."
    No editing
Just pure "here you go, folks!"
    Love it!!!

  6. 10:28 wonder if the fondues woukd work in an AIR FRYER without exploding…?
    Will try it.
Wouldnt that be wonderful if they did… 👍🏻

  7. 7:09 to 7:39 ….
(If Youre not cooking with Love for those you're feeding…) You're not COOKING WITH
    L❤VE.
A beautiful moment from Julia. 🙏👏

  8. I love Julia!, however cheddar is an English cheese not French! Our Gaelic friends would be appalled!😂😂😂

  9. So calm and relaxing, unlike so many type-A/high stress kitchens in numerous restaurants. Don't be fooled like I was that the culinary field is much like this. She's really demonstrating meals to cook at home in your own time (where you can experiment and make mistakes). I went to culinary school and immediately noticed how rude and stressed out people were, which was quite depressing. Thankfully I kept up my cooking at home and I still enjoy it. 😊
