Expanded our former small kitchen into the extra bay of the garage (it was 2 cars deep on that side). 1/4 sawn white oak veneer, lush to open drawers and doors, custom vent hood. A not had one window in the old space looking into a screened porch, now there are 4.

Consider changing your surface mount lights to deep regress , even better yet deep regress with a black baffle.
Just as much light But the light source will be almost invisible and much more pleasant
Absolutely love the way you used the quartersawn white oak! The sleek doors really offset the wood patterns.
How does that vent hood work for you? It’s pretty high! I put mine a bit higher than I should have and I regret it.
