  1. Some of the things in this video might be typically found in a middle class home but not alot of lower class homes. The ice maker on the fridge, the recliner couch, the garbage disposal, and even the AC is not in every home. Same with the multiple cars. That's hit or miss. The main reason for multiple cars is that people will get a new car without getting rid of their old one they don't or rarely drive anymore. I'm a perfect example of that. 3 cars, 2 people. My truck, my girls car, and my old truck. Or in my part of the country, up north where we get snow, lots of people have a winter car, or "winter beater" which is typically a rusted out crappy car likely with four wheel drive that you don't mind getting ruined by the salt on the roads rusting it out.

  2. "Can't someone just steal your stuff?" Yes, if they: A- Want to face federal criminal charges and B- Want to risk getting shot. Such a European mindset. What keeps people from committing crimes in America? Mostly other Americans with guns. Except in our shithole cities… let's not talk about those.

  3. If climate alarmist weren't in control in Europe, you too could have multiple cars, air conditioning in homes. So could the rest of the world. But instead they've made cheap, easy access to petroleum a crime and banned the really good coolants like Freeon. BTW, they banned the coolants because of a hole in the Ozone layer that… turned out to be a big nothing burger.

  4. We have 5 cars lol the 4×4 work truck the 4×4 fancy truck, the suv and the two sports cars for me and my babe.

  5. If someone steals from your mail, It is a federal crime which is a big no no and you will go to prison for a major penalty.

  6. The mulitple car thing is true to an extent. Usually it's 1 car per person over 16. If you have the money you might also pick up a utility vehicle like a truck or SUV. My sister has 4 kids but only 1 can drive. They have 4 cars. Her car. Her husbands. Her driving daughter. And a small truck. Technically they have 5 since he also has a company vehicle.
Also, it's almost a right of passage for a man to own a reclining chair which is often called a "Lazy Boy".

  7. A lot of these things depend on where you live in the United States and different from family to family. We own two cars for three drivers. We have a mailbox at the end of the street that contains locked boxes for several people living on the street. We own two TVs for five people. I consider us middle-class and blessed, but we just don’t need all those extras. I think having more cars is more typical for rural areas. We also own one icemaker. I don’t know anyone that owns two. We do like our ice though!

Main differences, I saw, when you buy or rent a home in Europe, typically the kitchen comes completely empty. When you buy or rent a home in the US, it comes with all of your cabinets and large appliances (sometimes the seller negotiates taking their fridge but it’s less common). We also tend to have larger kitchen appliances.

Also, in Europe, we had floors that were more similar to slate or rocks. In the US most houses, either have carpet or wood floors in the main room, and tile or wood in the kitchen and bathrooms.

In Belgium, we had valances that were metal covers that came down over our windows. They may exist in the US but I have never seen them.

I could be wrong, but I feel like we have more garages as well.

  8. We also have letterboxes if you don’t want to leave the mail in your mailbox. You can also mail things from the post office. Lots of options.

  9. The air conditioning in every home is kind of regional. I live in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, where the climate is more like that in the UK, and it's less common to have AC in the homes here. (Although as the climate changes, that is changing as well. Hotter summers are prompting more people to install them.)
Also, I'm a very weird American: I don't own even ONE TV.

  10. Some of the things she points out are more wealthy people stuff. Most Americans I’ve seen have one car or max, one car per person. The look of her house is very nice so, her parents have a good chunk of money.

  11. Bro we need cars its not a choice, and yall need A/C lol.. I lived in the UK for 9 yrs and missed it dearly. I never understood why you didn't have screens with no A/C its maddening

  12. Who… Tha… Fuck. Sends letters? I am 51 years old. It must be at least 25 years since i posted a letter. Or… Posted. Post?

  13. US has a few ideas that can easily be added for any individual in Europe. Europe has 100x better laws and social programs protecting individuals…

US has separate laundry rooms, it's not in the kitchen

US has built-in cabinets, you buy the house and already have storage

US has stop lights everywhere. I miss those safer round-abouts

US has HOAs with way too many developers, nothing is charming nor unique and too many rules

US lets anybody build anything right next you. EU requires neighborhood meetings prior to get city approval to build

US has tons of potholes due to cheap materials to build roads. Other places in Europe build smarter, not cheaper

US food and restaurants are full of preservatives and mystery ingredients. Europe has significant laws of food

  14. 9:38
Yes, these couches are pretty common.
Electric ones like this are becoming more common, but you’ll likely see a pull tab or pull bar version the releases the spring lock and shoots the leg rest out.

  15. Dude, in Canada everything is wide open. We usually have wide open front yard. My family's backyard was even wide open for a few years.
Do you want to know WHY we can do this? Cause ya might just get shot if ya fuck around.

  16. Wait till the mass migration to Europe from USA if the orangután gets re-elected. They’ll demand all these USA conveniences.

  17. Keep in mind she has a really nice house with very modern appliances. But keep in mind not all homes have all of these features… like a giant fridge, multiple cars, multiple TVs… not everyone has these…

  18. Americans have multiple cars because 25% of our lives is spent driving. AMERICA IS HUGE! and nothing is close by.
