DIRECTIONS
1. Cut onions into half-moon shape.
2. Add butter to pot. Set to medium high heat.
3. Once butter is melted, add onions. Stir every few minutes until caramelized (~30-40 minutes)
4. While waiting for caramelization, mince garlic and prepare herbs.
5. 30 seconds before caramelization add garlic. Stir.
6. Add broth, seasonings, and bring to a simmer for 15 minutes.
7. Add toasted bread or croutons, then cheese, and broil until golden (a few minutes).
8. Enjoy!
