Hi everyone and welcome back to cooking with Suzanne and Amanda and Dad and go ahead well I decided that it would be really nice for us to share a signature drink that we used to have at every holiday party at our restaurant Suzanne fine Regional Cuisine and that is a classic French

75 so as you can see Amanda just poured 1/4 of a cup of memons uh Meer lemon juice into a tall glass filled with ice and then we’re going to add 2 tablespoon of simple syrup which is nothing other than bringing equal amounts of sugar and water to a boil let

It cool and there’s your simple syrup here we just added three tablespoon of gin however you you can also in place of Jin you can use Brandy Bob’s doing a lovely little stir here we want to make sure that this is ice cold and now we can strain

That before and I’ll grab the Bott we have the sparkling wine in the freezer so that it stays ice cold that’s really important to have a really good ice cold French 75 okay yes okay yeah so Amanda took the carriage off and one thing you

Want to do is when you take the carriage off is kind of holded onto it because it could blow like a geyser we don’t want that you don’t want and what I’m trying to do here is get the cork out by but also pressing in at the same time so

Very little effervescence comes out you want to keep those because in movies when they show the big boom and it all explodes and everything that’s just a waste I mean it’s fun but we don’t want all you heard did you hear it I barely talking it was just a little po so this

Is enough for two drinks so Amanda’s going to pour half of the Jin Meer lemon juice and simple syrup the simple syrup into the coups and then Bob is going to finish it with some delicious sparkling water is a um a Blanc to Blanc oh okay a

Blanc to Blanc is made with chardonay very nice for the most part and this is lovely and if you have three or four or five it’s danger you’re in big trouble it’s danger and then Amanda just finished it off with a nice Twist of the Meer lemon zest Che cheers thank you

Cheers okay happy Oscars y nice easy recipe that I think that you would absolutely love isn’t that delicious oh yeah okay all right much love everybody it does not tast taste like danger does it no definitely not danger tast like so in case you would like to see

Who’s behind the videotaping I’m going to turn the phone around okay until next time goodbye everyone byebye
