Is The Rock’s THICC & EGGY French toast worth the wait? @therock

✨Recipe:
2 eggs
1 cup milk
¼ tsp salt
⅓ cup brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp vanilla extract
2 Two inch thick slices of brioche bread
6 tbsp peanut butter
½ cup maple syrup
6 tbsp coconut cream
¾ cup whipping cream, cold
2 tbsp icing sugar
½ tbsp vanilla extract

For the French Toast:
1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the bread with a whisk. You can also use a blender.
2. Soak the slices of bread for 2 hours on each side.
3. Preheat a pan over medium heat, add a bit of butter and add the bread. Cook for 2-3min or until golden.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes. Serve hot.

For the sauce:
1. Warm up the peanut butter in the microwave.
2. Add a bit of the maple syrup at a time, whisking to mix.
3. Add the coconut cream and also whisk it in.

For the whipped cream:
1. Beat the cream with the sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

I tried making the rock French toast but was not prepared for how thick these slices were going to be these needed to sit in the mixture for 2 hours per side to really soak up those eggy juices in the meantime I started working on his peanut butter syrup which looked more

Like gravy but now it’s about time to cook these which because of how thick they are I don’t know how much good that’ll do so I Bak these in the oven for 10 extra minutes because we’re not about eating raw egg around here and look these final results came out to be

Insane but taste that is certainly excessive but the man did his homework

  1. Why doesn’t anyone want to eat raw eggs? It’s totally healthy, in fact it’s probably healthier. My bro who trains in bodybuilding drinks 3 raw eggs when he wakes up.

  3. So is it soggy in the center? Or does the extra 10 extra mins in the oven resolve that?.. jw.. im not into soggy bread.. raw egg or WASTING FOOD in this economy

  4. Here in Brazil we cal it Rabanada.
    My mom likes to make with Coconut Milk, and not use such huge slices of bread.
    The coconut milk adds a spacial taste to it, that I can't eat other variations.

  7. When you tried to make the cheesiest pizza and it didnt come out too cheesy why not make it in an air fryer like the grilled cheese?
