Established himself as a as a master of the right Bank style Thomas Keller from The French Laundry even commissioned him to make a Cabernet Fran a varial Cabernet Fran for the French Laundry um Robert Parker said some really incredible things about him uh those are
In print you can read them in the offer um and uh eventually Scott after making wine for over a decade decided okay I’m going to try my hand at at a Left Bank style um Left Bank style wine now so he started in 2015 with the Left Bank cuvet
Uh we have the 2017 today so um you know Scott U most of the fruit he sources is from Southern Napa Valley caros um you know generally known for Pino and char but he gets fantastic bordeau Bordeaux varieties there um and this is just the
Same so um I I hate to use the word elegant cuz some people interpret that as light and this is not a light wine but it’s not a bowl you over like uh you know LS style Cabernet that’s just going to or um you know plump Jack or
Something that um is super full-bodied and extracted and it’s going to kind of knock you over um like all of Scott wines this is a fantastic food wine oh man oh that’s so good um 50% Cabernet Savignon uh 25% Mero and Cabernet Fran or 25% each Mero and Cabernet Fran that
Is um you get some chocolate notes a ton of really dark cherry pixelated tannin a little bit more tanic presence than you get on his uh right Bank style wines but still a wine that would be fantastic to drink on its own like I mentioned you
Know Scott takes a lot of pride in PS loving his wines uh they’ve been on I mean the list of restaurants is is almost too long to uh to get into but this is another fantastic food wine uh $50 is what it goes for on the website
