Pasta recipes Part1. Artichoke French over Penne Pasta. If you love Artichokes, this is a delicious unique dish using our Grove Gourmet Garlic Oils.

Okay so now uh we’re going to make another dish um using our garlic oil as our sort of a pesto in our pasta okay so I’ve got some Penny pasta here and what I’m going to do is right cooked it Al Dente and I’m going to add our oil with some the

Season right to the pasta just like that then we’re just going to toss it in like this and now we’re going to make some artichokes to serve with this so this is a dish uh commonly called the artist choke French and it’s popular in um Central New York uh Western New York

Rochester area um basically you you take uh like a 14 oz can of artichokes quartered or halfed and then you’re going to dredge them in the flour which I’m going to do right now and I’m going to use my hands I did wash my hands of course so we dredge them like

This and I’m going to put them in here just like that and then put them in our egg I’ve got one egg that I’ve beaten in a bowl and let’s keep going here I’m going to keep doing this actually and um I’ll be right back okay

So we’ve got our artichokes um I dredged them in the flour and then I’ve mixed them in with some of the egg and now we’re going to drop them into our pan like This and this is a great kind of a different dish and what’s great about it is also um it’s great it’s vegetarian dish okay all right so we’re going to sauté these for I’d say about 5 minutes or so and while those are cooking uh we’ll take a break and come

Right back okay we’re back and the artichokes um as you can see are starting to Brown up crisp up and our next step using a Sol of spoon or type of a spatula I’m going to take them out of the oil and I didn’t use a lot of oil you

Maybe um I a few tablespoons just enough to kind of sauté them like that this last okay so me turn the heat down a little bit all right so what I’m going to do next is I’m going to make the sauce so what we’re going to do is we’re going to

Take qu STI of butter and if it gets a little too hot just take it off the Heat there we go okay now we’re going to add some cooking Cherry about 1/4 cup oh I love that sound how you know when you’re cooking so you’re going to let that cook off just for a minute or so just to get that nice cherry flavor

Then we’re going to add um a whole lemon they squeezed and remove the seeds of course and then we’re also going to add I would say about 1/4 cup or so parmesan cheese there we go all right now let this cook for a minute this is our sauce of our

Gravy off a little a bubbly you want to burn off some of that cherry here we go all those little bits in the pan that’s where all the flavor is all right now you’re going to take your AR chokes add them right back in get them well coated here we go

Now going to add some parsley that I saved a little bit to garnish after all right now going to put the Bowl here and as you can see it’s all w coated with our garlic oil and you know the lemon would be a great one for this

Just shake it right up look at all that in there and just toss it in like a pesto basically all right so now we’re going to turn down the heat and just going to Plate this right on top just like that that looks great all right now I’m

Going to take a little more peine Morano or parmesan cheese right on the top like this and this will easily feed four people here we go and I’m just going to garnish a little bit more this is fresh Chop block parsley that I used there you go all right so I think

Honey now it is time to try it the best part yeah always I love to cook but I also love to eat going to feed me wow it’s really really good the lemon really comes through and the Cherry
