  1. A tragic loss for every life she touched and was destined to touch..I have severe allergies to vaccines and had to tolerate people calling me stupid and selfish for avoiding the covid jab.

  2. All of the food at Disney needs to have a label that says the ingredients and a warning label that the food might be made with so and so. The ingredients should be disclosed in the menu as simple as that,. If they don´t do this their customers with allergens will be at risk. This womans life mattered.

  3. So she didn't eat the food at the restaurant? Was it takeout? Because if you're that allergic ,you usually go into shock immediately after eating something, not forty five minutes later. Thats exactly what happened to me when the nurse gave me my chemo. Literally in seconds. I couldnt even tell herbecause my throat swelled up that quick.i had to hit her with my hand to get her attention..Or did the husband do something and they are the scapegoat.

  4. Worked in the res. Industry for 10+ years.

Whenever someone mentioned an allergy, I would relay to the manager on shift + chef in kitchen & line cooks as well.

Manager would make sure to stop by table to clarify proper precautions and all that were taken…

But also if it was a serious life threatening allergy like this, I would not risk eating out

  5. Something not right about this story hope they can find out the truth!!! It almost sound like she ate sth from someone who she trust esp she s a doctor and 42 yrs old so she obviously have experience how to live with her allergy must be sth else !!

  6. I am sorry to say that how could you trust someone when you can die from food…
If you could die from food allergy never never eat out !!!! It's not only fair for the person who has food allergy but also ower of the food shop.

  7. So sad, but at the end was not the restaurant’s fault! People who sadly has this heath issues, specially someone who is in the medical field should know better! But it makes me wonder why the need of a law suit? It was her choice of eating there she wasn’t forced! And does the restaurant promotes itself as an allergen free restaurant if there is such a thing??? 🕊️🙏RIP

  9. Her husband should have been questioned by the police. I don't believe severe food allergic reactions took 45 minutes later!

  10. It’s sad what happened. But as someone who has a peanut allergy, I’ve never eaten at restaurants that I don’t know well enough. I will never trust a waitress or flight attendant with my allergies.

  11. Food touches each other in a restaurant all the time. The waiter should not have guaranteed that. However, as a doctor she should also have not assumed that food made outside the home is safe for her. A friend's friend (also a doctor) died in a Paris restaurant because the food served to him had oyster sauce and he had allergies to seafood. The wife was about to stab him with an Epi pen and the the staff prevented her from injecting him. The staff thought she was trying to harm him. RIP to this doctor.

  12. I am a mother of severe peanut allergy. The restaurant seriously have to pay more attention when it come down to food allergies. Its no joke. This shouldn't happened if people at the restaurant being caution about it. It preventable!

  13. its true if you have severe allergy with food, dont risk your life eating outside..bring your own food.. or eat at home..people dont know you more than you know your self …trust only your self

  14. Why on earth would a doctor trust a waiter and a kitchen staff, especially in a very busy place like Disney, especially since she’s seen the strange, weird, and improbable in the hospital, she got delt a bad hand with these allergies, but life’s about playing that hand to the best of your abilities, and if they price it was Disney’s fault, they should pay and file criminal charges

  15. Sounds like she didn’t take allergy seriously because he said she didn’t seek medical help after the initial reaction. Hubby cashing out at the billion dollar corporation. 💰

  16. Disney has great allergy policies and every time I’ve eaten at a Disney restaurant they have asked me several times (when making reservations, checking in and also when seated) if we have any allergies. Don’t think this is the full picture

  18. I would suggest that if you have allergies, it is best that you buy and make uour own food, because it will be very hard to know what ingredients were used on restaurants. Also, it might not be directly the food itself but one of the already mixed ingredient has a nut or milk, or eggs added on to it, and cooks did not read it thinking there was none. And waiters would even have no idea and all they can do is pass that along to the chef.

  19. Sorry for your loss! God rest her soul ! Amen 🙏! I pray that all kinds of allergies n illnesses diseases will come to an end ! Cure is here already for Cancer and AIDS! In Jesus Christ’s name! Amen amen 🙏

  20. I find it a little strange that she died from nuts AND dairy. If the restaurant made a mistake, I would assume that the food was contaminated with one or the other. She may have eaten a dessert or something, but this is a little weird.

  21. I believe that white husband of her’s killed her. White guys are crazy for money. Plus she’s a fawking DR. Why in the world would she trust other people to make her her food knowing she has allergies like that? Woman you Asian, make your own food and bring it with you that way you know it’s good and what ingredients you used.

  22. How do we know the husband didn’t slip it in? Investigate the husband. How long have they married? Did he marry her only for money?

  23. Clearly the dish she ordered looked like it "could" contain dairy and/or nuts, hence whey they kept asking the waiter, I would've ordered something else at the point. I hope that waiter did ask the chef and wasn't just saying no for his sake, that could lead to some charges!

  24. This is unfortunate. I have several food allergies, as well as several other family members. Where we are from, it’s not customary to sue someone over this. We don’t take chances with allergens. We either prepare our own food, or attend restaurants (there are MANY options at Disney) that don’t serve the allergen at all therefore eliminating the chance of cross contamination. Yes, it’s not easy… but we feel worth it over risking our lives just to eat somewhere.
