Good morning everybody morning we are here in Paris France yeah so it’s a funny little story is that as of today is Monday well Tuesday really Tuesday morning because of light um as of Saturday we’re going to New Orleans we haven’t been to MRA it’s MRA week and so

We haven’t been to MRA in years so yeah it’s been several yes and so we’re on the way to New Orleans and so he comes up Saturday and provided that we’re leaving on a Monday he comes up and says you know this so happened New Orleans was over Valentine’s Day let’s go

Somewhere for Valentine’s Day and I’m kind of the Romantic so I he is the Romantic I am not romtic would you like to have dinner in Paris so guess what that’s where we are that’s the story that’s that’s how fast we plan and that’s where we’re sticking to it and

We’re sticking to it now right behind us is the hotel Gustav uh it is early in the morning so we can’t check in yet right so we did just take a little quick tour of the it did a pre-check in yes yes and then we just dropped off our

Luggage which most of the hotels here if you get here early if the room isn’t ready ready you can definitely drop off your luggage right and we did take a tour of their little breakfast uh option that they have which we’ll show you right now you’re at the host Hotel gusta

They have a breakfast that you can purchase and it’s around think 15 yeah this is the stuff they give you it’s it’s Prett Good Egg like t- short for has all the different breads some dates dates cheeses croissant more cheese and uh cut your own um bread here some little mini croissants

They put really cute little decorations on the meats Y and this is the uh the little eating room right here they have little set jellies and jams on the table too so it does look like a pretty cool thing we may or may not do it tomorrow morning it’s an added breakfast yeah

Only because directly across the street is bolog longerie oh my gosh which is like a bakery yes it’s the Fred the Fred the fresh breads and PE going to say who’s so then after that we’re going to hop on the train and H if you look at

The hotel stop we’re right next to the Eiffel Tower yeah very close I hear that she said that we have maybe a little bit of a partial view right of the Eiffel Tower but we’ll check it out when we get up there yes that’s so we can’t check in

Until later on this afternoon so I think we’re going to take a quick eat at this bonger and then we’ll see where we end at yes how’s it smell in here look at this as soon as you walk in you have all of these pastries here and

What are these cook mam or cro mour and look at this all these sandwiches that are ready to go yeah and somebody were just buying some sandwiches here of course look at all this oh my gosh right inside and the lady was walking outside with a big in her hand

That’s right do it yep mhm oh yeah that look great it’s almost like being in New Orleans right here thank you man all the fresh bread so good oh yeah there’s limited seating inside that Banger and uh we just got it to go so did get some coffee they had some coffee

There and we have the fresh chocolate croissant oh yeah and a fresh regular croissant see try the chocolate oh here we go M I love that chocolate very sweet mhm and very crispy wow look at that look at that you can see the layers of that croissant

Nothing like a croissant in Paris with a local cafe local coffee that’s the way they do it standing right here in the sidewalk mhm having some good old pastries and they had baguett in there but we didn’t get any but they have to get some there yes you know what

We were just talking earlier I think we’re go to Disneyland yeah there you go for the day or until the late afternoon or so so we’re going to shoot that on a separate Vlog MH and we’re going to try to figure out how to get to the trains

From here we have no idea so we’re going to bring it up on Google Maps yeah we’re not really really big in the heart of like the big city portion we’re kind of in a side street right near the Eiffel Tower so we got to figure out get our

Navigation skills here oh yeah yeah so yeah it’s on our way babe yes well I take a few more bites of this first oh here’s the regular pong oh yeah look at that better than Costco yeah yeah there’s bar hosit we made it on the train did and

We’re on the way to Disney it takes about an hour from Central Paris to Disneyland what’s nice is these trains have really big seats they’re two levels because it takes a while so it’s really nice yeah this is like a long commuter train it is so um the way we got to

Paris from Los Angeles first time we flew on air to he Nei yes uh just so happened Delta didn’t have a direct flight for Monday so the direct flights were either American right yes either American or air jiti Nei and so we decided air Taha new it had more open

Seats yeah and you know what it gives you that nice like tahan Vibe yes they’re French Polynesian everybody speaks French on the plain right that was pretty interesting that was pretty interesting now as far as the food uh they started us with some crackers like some Sesame

Crackers they pretty good MH they had um pop so they had uh Coke Diet Coke and Sprite I believe available to you and a bunch of juices yeah now the good part is when the actual dinner service came uh you got the chicken I got the chicken

The pasta right and I got the uh beef Curry and that beef Curry was so tender yeah and it was not spicy hot but it was nice curry spicy it was delicious yeah that was very good and of course we topped it off with the carrot cake yes

That carrot cake is really good yeah and that COA wasn’t bad either good yeah and then about uh about 5 hours into it then they gave us uh some snack like a ham and cheese sandwich they went around twice we got a ham and cheese sandwich

We shared the first one the second one we didn’t get because a right about an hour and a half before the plane landed they serve you breakfast right it was a hot breakfast yes and I got the French toast some kind of apple compost or something which was delicious cuz we did

Our split and I got the frittata which was very good yeah they had a potatoes and sausage uhhuh and I had a tomato on it right and some fresh fruit on the side yeah so I as far as the food uh that Airline is very good yes the staff

Is they help you they’re wonderful again they all speak French um I think they’re out of a GQ Magazine because all the women and the men were just all stunning yeah they look like they came from a l out yes they did so it was a French

Polynesian so Asian people and they all speak French yes I was I just couldn’t help but stare just a bit uh the way we got from the airport to the hotel we used a brand new uh like a airport car service called what was it called uh welcome pickups yeah welcome pickups uh

I’ll give you the link on the video description but you pay one price you could pay one way or for a round trip it was like a78 yeah um per per trip so uh yeah 78 uh EUR per trip yeah of course it’s a lot more expensive than taking a train

It is but you can’t be just sitting in the back of the car person taking a nap whatever yeah and the person was there right outside our gate told us where he was going to pick it up or she depending upon your driver ours was a heat told us

Where he was going to pick us up and then we had our name on one of those little prompters he just have to look for your name I know I I feel VIP yeah definitely and I and the guy was really nice he spoke English and you’re already

Paying you’re pay for it online so you don’t have to worry about this person taking a credit card or cash only and it includes the tip and it includes the tip yes right so from the airport which is we FL to Charles the go uh to to Central

Uh Paris where we are near the Eiffel Tower it’s about an hour 20 minutes yes because we’re right in the middle of traffic yeah a lot of traffic but still it was nice and relaxing yes it was and I think that catches you up yeah right

Over here now we’re just going on the train it’s the r that you want to catch and the last stop is Disney right so uh we’ll catch you when we come back yes so stay tuned for that other video continuing on with our video we’re back from Disney we are it’s another

Okay that’s it now we’re walking back to our hotel yeah we give a quick room tour yeah welcome to the hotel Gustav as soon as you walk in the door this is our double bed and look at this they gave us a cool welcome with the uh bag that a tote bag

That we paid extra โ‚ฌ10 for so they delivered it to the room but it’s a very nice touch with these pedals look at that and I love this wallpaper right above the bed it is a small room so as soon as you walk to your right there’s a

Small section there’s a small work area inside the closet there’s like a steamer and the iron board is your uh safe and a mini fridge but it’s uh it’s stuck with items that it costs extra and there’s a price list the the power adapters so it is the one with the two

Prongs the two Circle that’s the power that they use here in France but they’ll give you power adapters complimentary to use if you ask for it down at the front desk here’s the climate control it’s in Celsius so just keep that in mind and then as you walk in

Here oh we have a nice like I like a 42 in TV and the bathroom it looks really really spacious yes you make sure you watch out for this threshold otherwise you’re smack your toe right babe y That’s What You Do baby and uh yes here’s your shower well in case you’re

Wondering you know uh the the small button for the flush is for liquid and solid the uh the big masam come through this one right here so that’s the difference when you see these in in Europe it also has a little venting window so you get some fresh Paris air we

Little Chimes on top of those I didn’t even look I didn’t even see out there ouch my elbow careful so we have two windows here they hooked us up with a partial view of the Eiffel Tower so you can see it over there in off in the distance don’t drop my phone

One uh Cafe picked out and they don’t open till 7:00 p.m. it’s almost 7:00 right now right but we’re going to see there’s a lot of other cafes in this area so we see what other options there are just in case yeah oh look at that right ACR the street is a Japanese

Place and a Chinese place but we wouldn’t hear the end of it if we came all this way for a Valentine’s dinner in a Japanese or Chinese restaurant so we’re going to stick with French yes we’re on a mission to find some French food we are

At buque it is a small hole in the wall restaurant we hear it has very delicious food we can’t wait to dig on in it’s only a couple minute walk from our hotel so it’s perfect yes and they have a prefix menu โ‚ฌ35 for the prefix menu here

It is and it has it in English too yes so you could get like a a app a main and a dessert and they have the desserts listed over here on a separate menu and they have cream Bret and a chocolate mousse so we’ll find something yeah we just placed our

Order for a three course dinner looks amazing and I know we came to the right place because there’s a Ford Mustang bullet framed picture model over there so you know any place as a fan of Mustangs you know we got to the right place right so our uh server recommended

Type of soup it’s very light so it’s it’s very Good definitely made in this little kitchen right here I can hear the chef just making a lot of sounds back there cuz he’s busy he’s busy working and this place is filling up now I’m going to go ahead and try this escargo I had a had a little bit time to cool

MH that mushroom has an excellent flavor it’s nice it’s crunchy it’s escargo it’s really hardly any chew it really melts in your mou um perfect butter it’s not disguised in any way I would say it’s earthy but it’s it’s um doesn’t taste really earthy this is the

First time I had escaro melt my mom and this is what this exactly does you I don’t know if it’s etiquette to dip your bread in the soup here in in France but hey let’s do it like San Francisco Style with you know like P chowder right here we go on talk about

Fresh nice and crispy crust on this bread very soft in the middle it’s perfect okay we ordered our means and on the side they give you rice mashed potato and Penta wow we weren’t expecting the sides no no and look at my plate I got the sea

Bass let’s get this wine glass out of the way I got the Seabass that looks absolutely amazing you can see already the crispy edges which I really like and what did you get babe I got the beef what’s it called beef ban borgan yeah

Yes now the reason why I got this is it got high ratings on Yale everyone that ordered this said it’s the best one they’ve had in Paris or France or something supposed to be amazing so try it out you know I I had to get it right yeah we have this rice right

Here very good lightly seasoned mashed potatoes buttery buttery creamy oh my gosh it’s delicious mashed potatoes and Penta wow that tastes like a tastes like a little cheesy in that that is a delicious Pento these are going to match perfectly with my SE bass which lemon go ahead and squeeze this lemon on

This look at that skin it’s perfectly cooked go ahead with this lemon unbelievable the SE bass first of all this Cooks perfectly the skin This Bat skin it has nice and crunchiness to it that lemon livens it up and this Ginger really gives it that really nice Umami flavor this is delicious This

Ginger is not heavy at all I’ve never thought to do sea baths with ginger but it really really brings it to life and then with any of these sides this is going to match perfectly this is on the record the best SE bass I’ve ever tasted wow it is amazing it does look

You mentioned earlier reservations are a must cuz we barely again squeaked in yes barely yeah and by that there was another reservation that followed our dining time so we had to get we had to make sure we were done by a certain time right he he gave us about an hour 45

Layers in there I’m going to head ooh and eat this on that mhm first thing I taste butter extremely buttery slightly sweet this is a perfect snack for this morning one of the perfect snacks here’s that chocolate bios Wow first time kind of looks like just like

Dark chocolate nibs that are just kind of put on on the top I don’t know what’s in the middle if if there’s any chocolate I what is it more chocolate oh look at that chocolate nibs all throughout and there’s nibs falling everywhere wow that M let’s try it

Out oh wow these little chocolate they’re like a semisweet kind of dark chocolate but you can see that they are throughout the whole bun so you always get that little bit of chocolate in every bite it’s really good yeah I’m so glad we’re trying like new things at all these

Bonger and we did get um regular coffee we go that’s how much they give you in a regular cup of coffee yeah good smooth and it’s really hot is perfect so we’re going to work on these and then I’ll see what else we’re going to find man that place was good

That was delicious and they even want an award yeah I’m not sure what the award was U one of our uh the customers was telling me that they’re real popular on social media over here I guess locally mhm and it was delicious yeah we a great place

Yeah so on to our next one there’s several on the street yeah there is uh just right across the street though there’s like a a meat mhm meat thing I don’t know what they call it they’ll take a little like a berer they call it sh

Lauron yeah a berer yeah I guess it has a lot of different kind of cold cuts yes mhm it looks like you can make your little cheries look at all those those are like crazy looking too yeah we’ll show you in a Second about a block away we went came here to Emanuel Martin a lot of people are in here shopping they’re shopping for their bread so I don’t know if we should get a baguette like the guy who just walked out got two baguettes so maybe we’ll get a little baguette here

Or something since we’re going to be taking taking all of these on the plane anyways and so we maybe we’ll do it yeah we have some left over from the first place yep oh my gosh these look delicious I think I may want one that’s the salmon one maybe oh the sandwiches

Pre-made sandwiches right here well look at all this oh yeah this is what you think about when you think about like uh French pastries and desserts look at all this boy and then we even have some of the bigger slices up here mhm wow and even

Up above here the cookies and the muffin looking things these look that look so pretty oh yeah and this is only one section right yeah there’s a whole bread area behind you in this section we have like a pretzels and Loaves more breads up here and these are lots of flaky looking r

Croissants the famous chocolate croissants oh yeah lot of good ones right down the block right across the way from the those Chinese and Japanese restaurants that we highlighted last night he’s Emanuel Martin it’s right on the corner and it is another lingerie but they do have sandwiches here so we

Got here and of course everything is baked fresh you can get these like little pretzel bread right in the little window there but what I got is the one with salmon so you can see the salmon right there it has lettuce in there it has tomato in there

An on a fresh bread and it looks like it has cheese some sort of Parmesan cheese on this actually look like a pretzel it’s a pretzel that looks really good let’s try this out this pretzel real nice and crunchy good pretzel flavoring soft pretzel in the inside salmon is Absolutely Fresh I

Like I think they do that a lot here but Chef’s Cas yeah like a smoked salmon then yes it is a smoked salmon now we weren going to get a regular cant but this one caught our eye it looked much different and your typical this is that fro the raspberry

Cant it looks very very sticky trying to get it out of here Tada look at that that’s pretty yeah you could just feel it it’s like um it has the color and kind of stickiness it’s like those fruit rollups and when you’re a kid you used to open

That up and peel it off I’m sure it’s much better than that but here we go oh look at that this fil we almost always get like the the plain croissant or the one with the chocolate in it so having this raspberry with the croissant it’s like mine

Blown this is delicious the the raspberry filling itself and the little stripes on it it’s not overly sweet at all so it just has that nice raspberry flavor to it yeah this is great and they also had a pistachio one too I’m a fan of pistachio ice cream I don’t know if

Mind look at these eaes wow and they got the sandwiches as well and the regular pastries back here we got the goods we got our baguette yeah and you know as we’re in line a couple more people are getting these mhm so we have to try it out and break it

After that but you could justat this as is MHM luckily in the hotel I carry Ziplocs with me all the time so we’re going to eat a little bit of this break it up and put it in that ziplock cuz you know we’re going to take this one home

Well yeah sure and we got those three little um pastries I what they were yeah like the lemon catron one raspberry and something else they had like we said one of each but we didn’t notice that they have like eight of them and so he went

To go pick out the ones that we wanted right right so we got three those little ones yeah is this how you do it babe yep the B points the way how cute this is the three little ones they just put on like a little

Plate and taped it so it didn’t kind of move around so I’m just trying to take off that tape and try out these little pastries here here we go so this is what we got in addition to that baguette yeah it’s like a unwrapping like a little Christmas gift oh how cute look

It she did a very good job oh yeah look at that and these are the ones that I had picked out uhuh there were like eight different types mhm so these look really good yeah which ones you want to try yeah try that little cream puff looking one okay okay

Hold on you can see the cream in the middle right there looks like a little mini donut m M what is it I already know what it is it’s um hazelnut hazelnut that’s a good one it is M that was very good I love that these are little bite-sized pieces

Mhm of course everybody knows this one the Fano they got like little sugar like powdered sugar on top that raspberry is so so fresh that’s a good one and citrone yes the little lemon and you’re a fan of catrone ones oh I think that’s my favorite that’s delicious mhm yeah all of them

Update is that this hotel we’re saying at the ghostav this is the places all around that hotel and what it’s really nice it’s a small hotel it’s still in the city but it doesn’t give you that City kind of busy Vibe especially because the ypics are going to be here

Uh 2024 and the par Olympics are going to be here in Paris if you still want that City Vibe but not in the city the whole childood goo stop is like perfect the people are so nice there this is like a little neighborhood area a neighborhood shops restaurants we see a

Lot of locals here so this is a very cute little area to stay in especially if those hotels are really outrageous this one may be a good one to look at I don’t know how their pricing would be around the Olympics but sometimes these little small hotels get overlooked yes

So this one may be a good one and I love the fact that there’s like a half a dozen belonger it’s all within walking distance and and and total blre um eateries everybody dines late here we notice 700 p.m. some of these places open like the one we did last night they

  7. WARM Crรฉme brulรฉe….that's the ticket. I wish more places served it that way. I've only had it served to me twice warm and it really makes it stand out from the other times it was served chilled. Warm is the way to go!
