I received my shipment of french oak barrels direct from Bordeax today and started filling them. We have barrels from three different forests in a variety of toasts. We have great flavors and nice ripeness this year in what turned to be a late but good vintage.
Here we are December the first filling barrels we have the best barrels for all the Artisan group wines some beautiful fruit from Anarchist Mountain some nice French Oak barrels and I have the pleasure of unwrapping 18 of these today and then filling them so here we’ve got the barrel hydration
My trusty wine making friend here who will remain nameless is soaking down the barrels getting them all ready we’ve got our racking barrels all ready to go our Barrel one sterilized then we’re going to turn on some good Tunes drink wine and fill barrels over and out
