Today in London I dine at dinner by Heston a restaurant located in Knightsbridge in this episode We Tour the kitchens of Heston Blumenthal we have a chat to the Master Chef and try some of the favorites at heston’s let’s start at the beginning your journey starts by choosing a card

This determines the level of interaction with the heston’s team which is the most discreet level of service because uninterrupted style where we let the food taken on its own journey and just let myself in school it’s amazing we’ve got the guide where we’re going to give you a nice overview

Of the ingredients the preparation a little bit about the history and sort of guide you through your experience the Maverick is where we really jump down the track Hall and leave no stone mountain and we’re really gonna dig deeper history the inspiration of anything the selection of wines on the menu does

Beef brisket with risotto it’s now time to sample a Riesling from Austria I love it I literally love it oh yeah yes that’ll go really well yum really really well and that’s what it is that is good the mains start to arrive D we tried the Cod and the powdered duck

Breast both amazing and the mushroom pie arrives mushrooms and vegetarian alternatives to meat and has to work very closely with them to create I can say that everyone is loving this experience the quality of the meals the service by the staff the wine selection can’t be folded I don’t think we left anything on the plate even the Truffle mashed potato we had that last little bit of truffle or more so my cousin

It’s not often you find a good restaurant selling ice wine this will be the perfect accompaniment to the desserts it’s literally from Grand glue size and it’s 100 Buena Latino so the the most splendidy variety from Austria wow I spine I mean it is for

2018 the last ice one I think so yeah please family size one is from Canada yeah Canada is very Very important yeah we can’t get Australia so 2018 the last time for dessert we share the Tipsy Cake this needs to be ordered at the start of the meal it does take time Um bit of exotic foods as well like signals and raises this 2015 so it has a bit of age on the shore is it good it is good it is good wow histence is all about theatrics so we had to try the liquid nitrogen ice cream You ever have you ever had liquid nitrogen ice cream so we’re gonna start off with this beautiful compote which is made up of raspberry and Progressive apples very glitching mustache because now the bottom of the cone we go we also have our classic which is a regular classic but made with yogurt

The yogurt will be an essential ingredients in creamy texture so we’re gonna liquid essentially it’s gonna freeze the castles through the way it’s going to create microtonic crystals throughout the new High School uh now we can go back in time back to the 1901 where there was a lady

Called Agnes Marshall she was one of the greatest cook during the Victorian time and she actually wrote an article in a newspaper called the devil saying that people would make ice cream in the future using liquid gas and she was absolutely right she’s the queen of ice cream over there because

Here back in 2019 went to the Melbourne hestons yeah back here the originals better than last time and it was good last time next time you come back yeah loved it no well done thank you thank you obviously we’ve got a pineapples right there oh yes yeah yeah yeah yeah

Um so we’ll be roasting them for up to five hours wow and yeah our signal to dessert we’ll have the Jasper on the left or prepare our uh kind of meat uh mostly ribeye fillet beef it’s our Spanish Grill recipe of 300 WOW chips on this side yep

We also have the cold ladder where we prepare our meat fruit to travel at all the cold started wow ice cream machine as well ice cream machine have you ever tried it on 2019. we’re gonna have it today oh yeah I’m gonna make it for you wonderful amazing

Um so this time the flavor is actually lemon lemon juice there’s a question I get asked often to be honest uh it does come here sometimes yeah yeah you know to say hello to the team wow but not very often yeah yeah so yeah every now and then yes wow yes

Because they allow Ed Yes stable and it’s up to six people so you get to it in front of the pass actually my goodness I get to meet the chefs too so you can book that separately minimum speed yeah minimum span yeah 608 course meal um one person in charge of the table

I’m sure the food and wine and service where delicious, but as with most things I agree ☝🏼 with MPW , First should be ambiance , second is service and third is the quality of the food , like Ferris Bueller said “ if you concentrate too much on what’s going on around you , you forget too enjoy the Simplicity of the day “ , this is not too knock your review or your own enjoyment of your meal , it’s just another view from a retired fine dining chef 👩‍🍳but then again we all get burnt out in fine dining kitchens , and like Marco we just want too enjoy are friends and the ambiance of the occasion without the faff , pomp and circumstance .

  2. They should all go and work on a North Sea oil rig and plate up huge pieces of paprika goulash with a pair of tweezers .

  3. High quality video. You edit well. A bit of different people talking. A bit of the ambiance of sound. And a bit of your voice over. A bit of some techno pop music of your choice. It’s a nice blend. And what an amazing space. Go to Gordon’s and it looks like a decorated low ceiling blah warehouse. Heston’s looks impressive.

  4. My nephew dined there late last year, he is a lad who is well used to dining upmarket, he was very impressed as was his partner
