Full Recipe on my blog at: https://hopewellheightsblog.com/the-best-sourdough-french-toast-casserole-recipe/

Don’t throw away your stale bread especially if you’re just getting into sourdough maybe you made a loaf of bread that is a little bit gummy or it just doesn’t have the right texture maybe it’s a little bit flat or maybe you just didn’t eat it all and it got kind of

Stale well don’t throw it away one of my favorite uses for stale bread or bread that just didn’t turn out is french toast casserole and it’s so easy to make he was essentially just you know whip up your French toast mix eggs and milk cinnamon a little bit of sugar and pour

That over chopped up bread and bake it you can add the icing on top if you want to be extra which you know I always do but it just doesn’t get much simpler and this is such a delicious breakfast I will put the recipe in the caption for you

  1. Omg this video came at the perfect time. I think I over proofed my dough, didn't get a great rise and bread was just a little bit dense. I'm actually using it for croutons because I made a scallion cheddar cheese loaf. Thank you 😊

  2. Noo! I've been making more bread than my family can eat, and literally just this morning made croutons with the stale loafs… but this looks so delicious!! 😭🤣 Next time for sure!!
