Paris: Hundreds of tractors chug towards French capital as farmers protest

A convoy of hundreds of tractors has surrounded Paris as French farmers protest against increasing red tape.

They’re accusing the government of ignoring their needs.

The protesters are blocking major roads heading into the capital – and designating “choke points” – to disrupt the flow of traffic.
