The media wants to push the narrative, that CAP is good, that Farmers need it, bat that is a lie. CAP is there to move money from you to Speculators, not farmers. Farmers need CAP to make up for trade losses from international trade, cheap inferior foreign products, and speculation. CAP is only necessary to allow for speculation, and unfair unsustainable trade with low salary countries. Farm products should sell for what it costs to produce and distribute, not for what some speculators dictate. If all imports were of matching quality, produced under equal laws (labour protection, land lease, insurance, environmental protection etc… and taxes) then prices would be higher, but fair und sustainable, and the taxpayers would not have to pay subsidies to corporate profiteers.
