While some people like the potatoes to hold their shape and not lose their texture, I personally prefer when it does because I like when it is creamy.
Of course, our version uses the traditional Reblochon cheese because it is the star of the show. If you use another cheese, it is no longer called a Tartiflette. Reblochon is a mild washed rind cheese that is made exclusively with raw cow’s milk. It finds its roots in the Haute-Savoie region of eastern France. When baked, it melts perfectly on the potatoes, onion, and lardons.

Because I like it when it’s creamy to make it even creamier I like to add a bit of cream and omit the white wine which is often used D D In a pot transfer the potatoes then cover with Water add Salt cover with a lid and bring to a boil check if the potatoes are cooked and then drain preheat the oven to 100 180° C in the same pot Brown the lon until they release their Oil Add the diced onion and continue to sa until translucent Slice the potatoes and add to the pan Add cream and mix Together season with black black pepper mix together this is the cheese used in tarlet roblon is a mild wash Rin cheese that is made exclusively with raw C milk it has a smooth melting taste with a glorious nutty aftertaste which it gets from its slightly chewy rind when baked
It melts perfectly on the potatoes onion and Lon if you use another cheese this dish is no longer called a Tarlet slice the ran cheese in half Transfer the potatoes to a baking Pan place the Ron on top of the potatoes cheese Ry side Up bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes serve warm and enjoy with a green salad M yum with its minimal ingredients and simple cooking method tarlet is easy to make and a much Lov crowd pleaser yum
