[Applause] [Applause] I had 24 hours alone in the Chateau I wasn’t sure whether to sleep the entire time or actually get some stuff done I suppose if I did the former there would be no point in mean putting out this video although I think watching people sleep on YouTube is a real thing I

Looked it up now my suggested videos are of weird people sleeping so in today’s video I’ll give you a glimpse of a day in my life prepare to be Underwhelmed You You ready to go in Enzo Enzo come on Bud [Applause] [Applause] All I can think about is spring so I stopped at the Garden Center to look for apple trees and I found these but couldn’t load them into the car without Lincoln so I will be going back this is really pretty the apples have already been espell sadly our Orchard doesn’t have

Any proper eating apples of course they’re not on sale that would be really nice for against the wall in the garden 139 why is that more Expensive H that was funny [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Hello so there is a wall over here that we believe used to be a building according to an old map we had so where I’m standing right now was was another building we believe attached to to this little one in front of us so currently this is just

An area we don’t use eventually we’ll do something with it I’m not sure if it’ll be a patio but the problem is this wall is starting to collapse you can see so we need to fi find a way to secure this you know maybe reinforce concrete and then grow something over it we’re

Not we’re not really sure yet I mean we’re not even at this stage but I thought I’d give you a little tour of of this building since I don’t think you’ve have you seen this one I I don’t even know but this this is a cute little

Building I just have some wood in here I’m just starting to stack a little bit of wood for the house it’s kind of dark in here there is a window you can see so we have wood that I’m going to start to move this is great for

Kindling this wood I’m just going to put in that little building just to get it out of the elements over here you can see there’s a wall beautiful old wall everything is a mess um and there’s another wall be Beyond here here my goal before the

Winter’s up is to to get in here and sort of clear this area but there is another wall that goes around here so this was another structure building we’re not sure but it all predates the The Chateau and when we moved in we had cut that this horrible Bay down and of

Course it’s grown again but this is a an area where they used to keep animals obviously with these beautiful stone troughs I mean these are just gorgeous if you try to buy these now they’re they’re incredibly expensive but these are actually cemented into the side of this out building and someone had

Created a um cinder block wall I guess they were keeping animals separate and then there’s a cool trough actually built into this little window with a a lentil on top which uh is not in the in the best condition so this this building is pretty old and you can see over

Here there used to be a bigger window obviously and at some point we’ll open all this up so there’s this cute little doorway here and this is just the other side of where we just were so we have plenty of out buildings it’s just trying to

Decide what we do with them all once we’re we’re ready but right now my task is just to clean this area up throw a couple tarps over here so that the weeds don’t grow again Since I had no one to cook for but myself I made something I haven’t had since I was a teenager Pizza bagels and wine yes grown women eat pizza Bagels too but they were homemade Gourmet Pizza bagels and they were really Good [Applause] so my day has been ruined by rain I had big garden plans today but oh well now I have to feed the outside cats Story of My Life feeding cats so I’m so upset right now there’s another kitty here this one sounds little hello look at you oh

No what a pretty kitty you are where’d you come From the minute I walked in the barn it started meowing so I was very hungry what am I going to do with you where’d you come from you’re all wet huh you must be cold too oh my goodness you’re a pretty one you’re trying to stay out of the rain Kitty

Worried about this cat because it’s going down to like subfreezing temperatures you’re purring you are making purs and you’re very friendly I wonder if you’re the neighbor’s cat up the street we need to go check oh you’re so soft too you’re wet though you need a

Bed look at that face look at this face oh my goodness look at this thing you just want to be held and oh my gosh Hello Kitty this cat’s like snuggled up with me this throws a whole Monkey Wrench in my day after I found the Cat my daughters

Told me they went for a walk the other night and saw this kitten by the side of the road meowing at them they stopped briefly to pet it thinking it lived nearby it must have followed them home in the dark on the 40-minute walk back to the Chateau and found our barn with

The food I took the cat to the vet it’s a little kitten about 5 months old no microchip he hasn’t been spayed um I did find a neighbor’s house that the kids said oh hello that the kid said he was sort of near they were not

Home so I think um I’m going to write some notes and shove them in mailboxes and see if he’s got a home I secretly wish I could just get him neutered and then um get him home if he if he does indeed have a home you know because I

Just don’t want these cats to procreate um hopefully we’ll find find his owner if not I contacted somebody I know who runs a rescue organization and could possibly find him a home he is the sweetest little thing he’s petrified right now he’s got a little bed I don’t know if he’ll use

It and uh a little bit of food I think he’s very tired he’s exhausted he’s sleeping so I’m going to give him some space and I’m GNA go have some coffee so the vet also said that he has fleas and ticks so I do have um a front line so

Later I’m going to give him one of these once he emerges from his little Crate Olive is resting comfortably after soaking up all of the affection she can get after living alone outside on our land since April in December we experimented with putting out a couple of Vlogs per week not sure anyone noticed we’re thinking of continuing this let us know if that

Might interest you for me it’s almost easier doing two a week since I don’t have as much footage to sift through while editing although this might disrupt my shopping spree to Paris and my secret Rendevous to Tuscany to meet up with my boy toys timoy did I just say

That out loud I digress Vlogs we hope to get them out Mondays and Fridays but things often can happen like the dog eats the Vlog or Lincoln disappears into the woods for a week that’s why you should subscribe and turn on your notifications and don’t forget
