This one out I don’t know about all that all right but to sh um the number one thing with black hair is not combing your hair while it’s dry you never handle natural black hair in its dry State ever it’s going to break off and be brittle you’re gonna have a problem

Don’t ever ever ever comb your hair when it’s dry ever moisturize it put some water on it if you really go back back you know when we were kids our parents would stuff like use a um they use Dax crease and all that stuff back in the

Day and our hair grew just fine now they got all these magic potions but um you know back in the day you know our parents would take like a wet um washcloth or wet cloth and you know do each section like that just damp it a

Little bit and brush it out right um or comb it out with no problem so never handle natural hair dry ever okay um you know other other stuff of course looking for conditioner that works for your hair we all have different um paracity levels and um it’s important to know what yours

Stores now so this is what Carmen had to say in response to the internet being all a buzz about um let me take this down about Karina getting the brand I got you brand into Walmart that’s a big deal but Carmen wants to poo poo it and act

Money from the business but acting like um you know the saying that you know some businesses most businesses be closed and they have to shut the doors but the thing about the I got you brand is that the money that was being made the profit it was Pro it’s a profitable

Business okay it’s not like and then she said something later on you know um and whoever she’s talking to she says something later like um you know um how she’s happy about it how you know she she’s glad that she did it and you know all that kind of stuff

Critical moment in the I got you business brand all right meaning what does that mean that means that um the business wasn’t where it was where it is today but um there were a lot of changes um that Karina and her team were making to take the business to another level to

The next level to elevate the business um from marketing to you know getting in the retail space and you know all those great things which equates to more money so to say that you’re glad that you sold something basic basally for pennies on the dollar you know you got a couple

Hundred thousand dollars that’s nothing that’s let’s put it in perspective when I say it’s nothing of course it’s it’s money it’s a good amount of money but um you know that’s all relative how much you know how much is nothing how much is something that’s all relative and as it

Relates to a successful brand that had so much potential had meaning when Carmen was there she did so much damage to the brand that’s probably what she was thinking that you know I’ve I’ve done so much you know um damage irrevocable damage to this brand that

You know I effed it up so bad there’s no way Karina can take it and move on and be successful and profitable and people want to support it but that that’s not what happened all right what happened was she sold the business for pennies on the dollar and Karina has been full

Throttle and moving this the brand to higher levels ever since and for someone to say that especially someone who doesn’t have any income really coming in um for someone to say that they were happy to offload a business that was trending upwards and headed toward even more success is ridiculous

So um she sold her future and the future of generations to come those opportunities don’t come around every day they do not she’s mad hurt and extremely jealous I’m glad it’s going to be in w Walmart it’s already in Walmart it’s in Walmart check your local check walmart.com um Nicole said n it’s

I think even down here but in Florida the Department of Health handles their licensing and stuff like that Taye has not switched over her information um from Florida to excuse me for smacking my mouth I know that’s annoying as to y’all and um I definitely try to be conscious of it

Because I don’t know how other people running pages but I definitely um am trying to make a a conscious effort to not be that I mean it’s annoying it’s it’s like somebody popping their gum you know how somebody chews gum and they’re always popping it on their their you

Extent first of all you have 60 days to change your domicile okay um address the state that you’re living in with Texas that’s Texas law you have 60 days to tell them that hey I ain’t in Florida anymore I’m in Texas there’s that also with the compact

Nursing license um yes it is true if you’re in a state um that has what’s called a multi-license um policy then and there are other states who participate in that that says okay you’re you’re a nurse in in Florida okay well you know in New York we we recognize your nursing

License but there’s a couple of steps that go with that you don’t just automatically like oh I got a I got a license in Florida so I could automatically work in New York no that’s not how it works and people don’t know the intricate steps in between that

Process I happen to know I’ve worked in healthcare my entire professional career um you still have to alert the state that you want um to get the reciprocal license in right um that you are licensed in Florida and hey connect my Florida license to Texas right email phone call go through the portal

Whatever but doing that they trigger an investigation they can investigate your background or whatever at any time shape fashion form so a lot of people a lot of people don’t do that when they U get a license they don’t want to rock the boat okay yes they’re licensed and if you’re

Working for a contract company um a lot of times you don’t need to make that connection between your home state where you got the license at and the state you want to work in because the um contract company makes that connection for you and they’re able to

Um they do look away they turn their head to a lot of things perhaps they won’t do the background check or you know whatever it may be they they they they definitely they’re getting paid big time for you to be working for them so I’m not saying that this is 100% the

Credentialed know what credentialing is the whole departments at every Health System every insurance company every um doctor’s office um does what’s called credentialing they check all your background they check your your education if your license is active um your address they check everything they comb everything with a fine to comb

Through credentialing so you cannot work in Georgia as a nurse and say oh I’m about to move I’m gonna move to Texas and because I’m licensed in Georgia I’mma go to the hospital and just tell them I’m licensed in Georgia and they gonna be like oh okay all right come on

In that’s not how it works yes I know about the compact nursing license law of course um and all that you still there are still checks and balances in place to ensure that that licis is active huh um that you’re up to part with your

CE and they G to do a background check on you just you might not know that but I’m letting you know because this has been discussed times in the private group before I started this page in another private group that I had I’m telling you how it goes you might not

Know this may be SE what’s called seamless to you so may be a seamless thing to you you might not know any of this you just know oh okay now I can work in Texas because whoever’s handling um what’s called basically an appointment your appointment you have to

Than minimum wage so minimum wage was let’s say $5 because it used to be55 minimum wage is $5 you were working at a restaurant they were paying you $2 of course the Tipping system was very important to help people to be able to sustain a respectable way of living

Right and earn a respectable wage that’s what tipping is for and restaurant you know restaurants where they’re paid less than because the tips will bring them above and beyond um what the what the working wage is that’s how the Tipping system was originally designed to work but when you’re talking about charging

People premium prices for basic services I don’t care if if it’s um you know what I’m saying above basic when you’re charging people premium pric and you are the owner and proprietor of that beauty salon of that shop of that establishment that business when you make your prices it’s already built like

The tip should already be built in as far as and I still do tip I told you that I don’t do 20% but uh or maybe I do it really just depends I I don’t regularly tip 20% but uh when if if it’s your business you’re getting every dying

From that transaction huh and you’re already charging a premium price so you want me to chart you want me to be obligated I’m not what I’m saying is I don’t feel obligated to do it I do it because I’m a generous Queen but um you know tipping should not be something

The industry in general so please don’t take offense my hair my hairdresser reduce her prices once by $50 because she said I was easy wow I still paid her the full amount and considered the $50 her tip now that’s classy that’s a classy thing to do and a

Respectable and reasonable thing to do you get more from people when you don’t try to overcharge them or um be aggressive with your pricing you get more people buy two units from me all the time all the time because they’re actually right now buy one get one um

Half off for the hair braing units that I have that I make um I was going to say that I have on my head right now now um they buy one get 150% off so you know people buy two all the time because of that just for right now though I’ve

Never paid more than $200 for any braids I don’t blame you because I mean I’m gonna have to watch the replay um how much do you think took paid this thing is still asking me get back on track we couldn’t update you wait an hour wait another hour um how much do

You think took paay for her braids asking for friend probably about 350 that’s the going price for 300 between 300 and 350 I should know she got the exact same style that I was rocking over the summer overcharging on some braids human hair has gotten expensive so when you factor

In 100 plus for supplies I don’t charge much okay I’m not saying that you do I’m sure your work is impeccable and the price that you’ve set um you know is appropriate for the work that you do which is I’m not talking about you at all just talking about the the industry
